This is a nice facility. What impressed me most is the pet policy. My Bogle was warmly welcomed! I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was super friendly and the deluxe cabin accommodations were clean & nice. Areas of improvement. 1. When it came to shower time, ran out of hot water (party of 6 with the 3 kids); 2. soft scouring pad to wash off cooked on food; 3. regular coffee maker & filters to the Keurig coffee maker and complimentary Keurig cups provided as I am a heavy coffee drinker and we had 2 coffee makers.

Great stay in one of the cabins. Carlsbad and surrounding areas offer so much to see and do. The KOA location was perfect!

The cabin was very cute and comfortable! We did have an issue with the heat but they were quick to respond and fixed the problem immediately after we contacted them. I would stay again without hesitation!

Stayed in cabin. Very nice except doorway to bathroom very small. Would not be able to fit if we were large people. Office was not open during posted open hours. Enjoyed our stay though. Would come back.

We were in a deluxe cabin. It had a fireplace that was inoperative. Neither space heater was working because the breakers were tripped. The ceiling fan was caked with dust but the place was otherwise clean and comfortable.

We stayed n a cabin and they put us practically as far away from the rest room as possible. We arrived after the office closed (6:00pm) and left in the morning before it opened (9:00am), so never even saw anyone. Banker’s hours! Nice enough place but I would have liked to have stayed closer to the rest rooms.

We rented a Deluxe Cabin at Carlsbad KOA and loved it. The size and layout of the cabin was perfect for 2 adults with very different sleep schedules and our 90 pound German Shepherd. We'd definitely stay here again!!!

I stayed here for my trip to Carlsbad Caverns and stayed in the camping cabin. Cabin, bathroom and showers were very comfy and clean. Staff was friendly. The pool looked lovely but i was not prepared to swim. The only downside was the location for me. The closest restaurant was 20 miles away and the caverns were about an hour away, so I might choose another option if I go again.

The whole team at the Carlsbad KOA was awesome and very helpful! We had a large party and needed extra towels, they brought them within the hour and took the old ones! Great facility, great cabin and great amenities!

Campground was quiet and the minimal interactions with staff were positive. We did have a few issues however. Linens were supposed to be provided but when we checked in at 11:30 PM there were no linens on bunk bed or futon. Had to call emergency number to get linens. Linens were brought relatively quickly. There were several dead spiders in the bathroom (sink, shower and top of toilet tank).

The best KOA to stay and visit the Caverns. The night sky is truly remarkable and the staff is always helpful with any information you need. Nearby town is full of options for any needs. Joe....

Stayed in a Cabin this time instead of bringing the Trailer. The Cabin was Awesome. The Park looked great, and the Staff was Wonderful as always!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our cabin, however, was not very clean: spiders and cobwebs in the shower, large chunks of dust and bugs in the corners of each room, dust over an inch thick on the ceiling fan blades. Cleanliness needs to match the cost of staying in a deluxe cabin.

Everybody is very nice and the grounds and activities are very well maintained. All the play/sports equipment have any needed balls, nets, horseshoes, etc which is great. The rec room was very nice for the kids-ping pong, lots of games, magnetic darts, etc and again, all needed items were available. The pool is very clean and well kept. Very happy with our cabin stay, the a/c works great!

Absolutely beautiful campground with lots to do. Showers are spacious and high pressured, the cabin was very clean, staff was friendly, and the flora/fauna was stunning. Highly recommend.

Easy check in/out process. Good communication with owners. Stayed in camping cabin. Nice, comfy place. Kids enjoyed pool and the game room. Showers were nice and entire bathroom was clean. The only drawbacks were it was quite a drive to Carlsbad Caverns NP, the flies everywhere, and wood price was a bit steep for the bundle. Overall, enjoyed our family camping time and would love to come back!

We had the best time! My mom and I have stayed and KOAs before but this was our first time renting a cabin and it was our first time at this location. Everything was so clean and well maintained. The staff was also very friendly :) thank you for a great stay!

Great facility, with a fully stocked rec room and a play ground. Check in was easy and friendly. We stayed in a cabin and the ac worked great. We definitely want to come back.

Park and people very nice. Everything was so clean and neat. Would have preferred a cabin that futon wasn’t the only option. Not comfortable at all. That was the only con so I see it as a great stay!

Refrigerator barely worked. Going the speed limit was too fast. Bunch of busybodies, couldn’t relax. Left early due to these issues.

We stayed here with our 5th wheel while visiting the Caverns and such. Anyway, the KOA here is “very nice for the area” and I mean that sincerely. It's not a $125/night luxury RV resort, but for the price and location, it's a very nice spot to stay. The spots are almost exclusively pull-thru which is convenient. Every spot has a little grassy area with a tree to the West (blocking some of the sun) and the pads are very level. Power is solid, water is good and drinkable and even sort of far away from the office, the Wi-Fi signal was pretty strong and we could stream without a lot of buffering. There's a road down to the lake that doubles as the “dog walk” - it's a great way to get them out for some exercise before your adventures. Everything is very clean - we didn't use the office-based facilities (pool, showers, etc) but they looked fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The downsides are you're staying ~15mi north of Carlsbad and it's another 1/2hr to the Caverns (but the upside is that it's quiet). They have a cockleburr problem that can make it tough on a dog's (or human's) paws…. Overall I would definitely stay here again over the other options in town and closer to the National Park.

We had an awesome time. The only complaint I have, people with dogs didn't pick up after their dogs in the dog park, plus a dog was roaming sind with no leash, and it attacked our dog that was tied down.
