The staff was friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and comfortable. My only complaints were that the bathroom sink did not have hot water for shaving and the shower drain wasn’t cleared for any of the three days we were there.

The plan was to take my newly retired husband on our first truck camping adventure. Nature sent us Wind! More wind than we could comfortably handle in a tent. Fortunately our friendly camp hosts had true handicap accessible cabin. Not just words, functional roll in shower /bathroom . The cabin had a full ramp . We said Yes to Air Conditioning .Staying where our dog was welcome was huge plus.

The cabin was comfortable for the two nights we stayed. The kids really enjoyed the GaGa Ball Pit and Rec Room.

We really enjoyed the stay overall but a few things need to be worked on: The makeup washcloths need to be wash led before being put in cabins. The dye comes out when it gets wet. There were no washcloths out for the adults in our cabin and one of the linen bags had 2 flat sheets and no fitted sheet for the bunk beds. The keurig needed to be cleaned and there was no hand soap in the bathroom.

All and all a pretty nice little place out of the way. The cabin we had was perfect minus a few house keeping things and the lack of a coffee pot (they had a keurig) I bought my own and some bbq utensils. I would recommend bringing extra bedding/blankets in the winter because what’s provided leaves a lot to be desired. People were nice and though “out of town” it was quiet and peaceful.

Great facility, clean cabin and many washer and dryers. Stayed in a deluxe cabin. Bed a little soft and cable was out. All in all it’s a very good KOA.

Positives: Clean Heat and a/c work great Never ran out of hot water Check out super easy Good privacy and quiet Cons: Wifi shaky at best Advertise as pet friendly (why I choose there) selected on their site I was bringing mine, yet seemed surprised when I brought mine and charged me a second time? Was strange. Overall was a good experience and they left me alone with all their rules.

Check-in was quick and easy, front desk staff was friendly and informative, and cabin was clean and cozy. Great stay! We will be back.

The only issues were that the coffee maker didn't work properly and there were a lot of flies in the unit. Otherwise, we had a a really fun stay!

The cabin was the best KOA cabin I have ever stayed in! Comfy bed and extremly clean cabin. Usually they have a moldy dusty smell but this one was amazing. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Very friendly staff! Great accomodations. Down side was no drinking water available. You need to buy it in the office or bring your own.

We rented a cabin. The screen door had something resembling chicken wire as the screen which did nothing to keep flies out…and flies were abundant. There was no known water near the cabins. We needed water for cooking. The dish washing station was filthy and didn’t drain well, specifically the water collected on the opposite end of the drain hole causing built up corrosion. Whenever our family goes Roswell and Carlsbad we choose to stay at this KOA location. Cabins are always clean and staff is super friendly. You cannot miss the gorgeous dark night sky with endless shooting stars! It’s a fantastic location 5����

Cabin smelled profusely of cleaner .. very overwhelming. Also not able to open windows as screen was missing. Mattress on bed was very nice.

The actual campground seemed fine. We were disappointed with our cabin, especially at $150.00 per night.Our next stop, another campground cabin, was a much better accommodation, and $50.00 less per night.

Worst KOA experience I have ever had and I have been staying in KOAs for nearly 50 years. The pool area was filthy with caked mud under the pool chairs and dead bugs floating in the pool. On a positive note, the cabins were clean and well maintained. Just a poor overall experience.

We stayed for 3 nights in Lobo cabin, The door squeaked very loudly, the AC and overhead fan were noisy as well. The large window did not open. There was no hot water in the main bathroom, the closest to our cabin. The swimming pool was closed part of the time. Overall the campground needs maintenance. The personnel working there were nice.

We really love it. But our cabin poni was full of spider webs, and also some little spiders. But over all, very nice.

Very clean campground. Ease of use especially in getting into our lodge after hours. I like that the game room is open 24 hours. The fenced in dog park is much too small is my only critique. It is remote being 26 miles north of Carlsbad so if you come in after hours you’ll be out of luck if you didn’t bring food/drinks cause there is nothing close by. 4.5 stars really. Will come again.

Cabin needed repairs. Was not as clean as it should of been. Lots of spiders and webs. No bathroom curtain only rod. Staff not helpful. No soap for shower. Cabins definitely needed some maintenance we rented two of them. Both had issues. The shower was stained terribly and bed linen needed replaced worn out. Definitely needs upgrading . We paid alot for the quality we received.

We were assigned the Prickly Pear Cabin. It was not cool & there was no remote for the AC. Water was standing in the bathroom floor. Only 2 twin flat sheets, 1 pillow case, & 1 small blanket. No towels, wash cloths, or rugs. No dish cloths or towels for the kitchen. I called the after hours number, they moved us to the next cabin & brought the necessary linens All was fine after that.

No fridge in room. No security locks on bathroom. Very string sulphur smell due to location. I would have paid less and gotten a whole lot more for a hotel room in Carlsbad or Whites City.

Management was friendly and the grounds were clean. The cabin was not clean, the spider webs had not been removed in some time. The floors and bathroom was not cleaned well in a very long time especially the shower. The toilet was clean, the sink was clean but the floors had not been mopped, the shower had not been scrubbed and the shower curtain was pretty gross.

Not accommodating, asked to up date lodging but said there were none but the 2 days we were there the cabins we would have liked better were never occupied. Restrooms lacking in cleanliness, no paper towels for one day as well as, toilet paper not in handicap stall and certainly not very friendly.

This place was really run down and the cabin we stayed in was disgusting. There were cobwebs all over, dishes were not clean and even had insect poop in them. AC wasn’t working and other issues that the character limit won’t let me mention. I have pics too, that I will post in a google review. We paid $215 each night for a horrible experience. Stay away from this place!!

Great RV spots. Very spacious! Well kept, very clean. About 45 mins from Carlsbad Caverns. They do make pizzas on site, but the nearest restaurant or store is about 30mins. Still really great KOA

Showers were wonderful, staff was friendly. Liked the activity room and games. Price was reasonable. If anything was not right, I would say that shower curtains need cleaned routinely, they had mildew on the bottom
