Clean, quiet and good trails to explore. Nice they opened the pool.

No hot water for the showers. Trash dumpsters were overflowing and bags were left on the ground. Of the 8 washers, 4 were out of order. 2 hour wait for laundry. Grass had not been mowed for a very long time. The 24 hour rec room had the tv’s turned off and the remotes removed. This is one of only 2 KOA’s that I have ever stayed at that I would not go back to.

Great stay, quiet park, excellent staff. Just be aware, it’s 45 miles to the Carlsbad Caverns visitor center, the last 7 miles are inside the park, twists and switchbacks to get up the mountain. Make your reservations well in advance, tickets are limited and sell out daily! Highly recommend the Kings palace tour.

We loved the rural camping feel. Your staff was helpful and friendly. Our only complaint was so many dogs barking! Made it hard to be outside and enjoy.

Half the washing machines were out of order and the rest being used by staff doing the cabin laundry. One would think that they would have their own to use? No hot water, mentioned it to a maintenance guy the next day. His reply ‘yeah, we are having problems with it’. No signs posted letting people know. Toilet with no TP. Venting on their septic needs to be upgraded - badly!!!!

The staff and the campground are wonderful - EXCEPT there are so many stickers that we could not walk our dog. We're from Arizona so stickers are a regular problem there too! However, as a "dog friendly" park you might want to do something to at least make them less intrusive in each camp site. We use a handy burn device that is quick and efficient. This would be preferable to using poison.

The bathrooms are in pretty bad shape. The smell that was sprayed on the pecan grove was almost unbearable. We thought it was a propane leak!

The garbage was overflowing and there were tons of flys. The RV slots are nice. The staff is very disorganized.

Just ok our site was right next to the playground. Screaming kids all day. Staff seemed irritated tat they had to help us in the office, isn’t that their main purpose. Kitchen was closed.

Whenever our family goes Roswell and Carlsbad we choose to stay at this KOA location. Cabins are always clean and staff is super friendly. You cannot miss the gorgeous dark night sky with endless shooting stars! It’s a fantastic location 5����

The men’s bathroom is in serious near need of updating. No counters. No hot water.

Customer service and the park itself were all very nice and welcoming. The water had a bitter taste with a film on top in my glass. Bring your own water to cook with or drink is my only suggestion.

Absolutely no hot water in shower. No soap in the mens. Broken water pipe near tent sight and dead mice. Not fragrance free. My husband suffers from an autoimmune condition and cant be around strong chemicals . men’s restroom reeked of Pinsol used to cover smells. He was terribly sick. Wish KOA was more mindful of that. No staff to help. Such a pity so much potential waisted could be really grea

There was no warm much less hot water. Also, I know that it's for our safety, but a bright light was on all night long shooting straight to our tent. I wish the tent pads were further away from so much lighting. We also had a neighbor that stayed in their car and were constantly opening/closing their doors and also kept turning their car on and off to keep warm. Was pretty annoying.

Great facilities located about 15 miles from Carlsbad and 45 miles form Carlsbad Cavern National Park. We enjoyed our patio site, pull through with fire pit and swing. There was a wonderful camaraderie among the residents with a number of campers watching the annular solar eclipse on 14 October 2023. My only negatives were relatively small - burrs in the grass and distance from town.

Friendly staff, great stay. Oct ‘23. The pool was open during our stay despite the website stating closure on 10/1. Sadly, due to reported staff shortages, the BBQ dinners were unavailable. The grounds are very well maintained and offer many amenities. TP in mens restrooms was scarce. Nearby homes did have barking dogs overnight

It was clean and a lot of space. But internet was very bad. No food as was advertised. We picked this place because we needed internet and could not get it to work most of time. We will never stay there again. False advertisement

We enjoyed it very much . The cabin was nice and comfortable and just the right size for us . Enjoyed the peaceful , relaxed ,safe ,atmosphere and the places we wanted to see in the area were in short driving distance . Thank you .

Cabin smelled profusely of cleaner .. very overwhelming. Also not able to open windows as screen was missing. Mattress on bed was very nice.

Nice facility but the weeds need attention. I brought to the attention of the front desk person. I was told to mitigate all the weeds they would likely kill all the grass. In my case the Goathead stickers were growing all along the bricks of the patio area for my camping space. I took it upon myself to pull these, I was tracking them in my camper.

Even right after the restrooms were "cleaned", there was still hair all over the showers. I moved something to the corner and it was still there.

We stayed for 3 nights, staff was great! Warm and welcoming!Rv park was clean and we enjoyed being a few miles north of Carlsbad. Nights were quiet and the stars were bright! Park could use a few updates, other than that we had a great stay!

The facility was very well maintained with friendly staff. If you have a dog, you will want booties, as there are LOTS of goatheads that were a nightmare for our small dog. Showers and bathrooms were exceptional!

Great RV spots. Very spacious! Well kept, very clean. About 45 mins from Carlsbad Caverns. They do make pizzas on site, but the nearest restaurant or store is about 30mins. Still really great KOA

Showers were wonderful, staff was friendly. Liked the activity room and games. Price was reasonable. If anything was not right, I would say that shower curtains need cleaned routinely, they had mildew on the bottom
