Really enjoyed the food prepared on-site! Showers were warm and had lots of room. Helpful staff. As with most KOAs, the game room area could use some help. We could only find one working ping pong ball. Things were pretty untidy in there, though imagine it is hard to keep it tidy with many people in and out. The previous KOA we stayed at kept a few working ping pong balls out for use.

The campground and the staff were nice, but the 1st issue was no propane during freezing weather. Then the kitchen was never open during my stay which would have been nice. The biggest issue was the whole campground water went out multiple times and when I reported it the staff said it was a known issue they hope to fix someday with an upgrade.....not up to KOA standards.

I arrived late. Neither the outside or inside lights were on, making it very difficult to see and possibly trip on rocks on pathway. Lights would be very helpful.

It was ok. One of the bathrooms was broken and the toilet was out and it looked really trashy. The bathrooms don’t have a heater so during the snow storm it was cold taking a shower. There weren’t any instructions on how to handle late check in so it took us a minute to figure that out. Overall, this location is ok.

After 8 hours on the road, we were looking forward to a Hunts Brothers Pizza, but while checking in, I was told both cooks weren't in so the kitchen was closed. An hour later, my husband saw the children of the KOA staff walking back to their RV with a hot pizza. If the kitchen is closed to paying guests, then it should be closed to staff as well. We won't be back. :(

I stayed in Poni cabin. It had flies when I arrived because the window was broken. The maintenance man was able to push it back together, but it wouldn’t lock. The electrical outlets are not working. The heating unit smells like it has an extremely old filter in it. I turned it off. The floodlights from the front entrance shine directly into the window. I had to hang towels over the thin curtai

Wonderful stay. Campground was clean and well tended too. Very friendly staff. Decent inside game room with foosball and ping pong. My kids enjoyed it.

We had a patio site, we really enjoyed that. Staff was friendly and helpful. Store has a few essentials we needed, laundry had several machines out of order, but we were able to get our wash done. Bathrooms were clean. Water pump went down a bit, but it didn't cause us any issues.

This is the best KOA that we have stayed at. Very clean, and the staff very courteous and friendly. Definitely will be staying there again.

Nice park, quiet, clean bathroom/ showers but you need to bring your own fresh water as they have well water that has a lot of calcium bad for drinking and bad for your rv pipes.

Water was not working well… they informed us upon arrival and offer to reimburse but we did nit know where to go at this time of the day si we stayed at the KOA. Toilet was not working well and it gas even being closed due to water problems. I understand it is nit something that can be solved easily but we should hav received a discount for this major inconvenient at the last minute.

Excellent KOA, exceptional staff, and very clean! Had dinner at their diner first night and was actually impressed with the quality and price. Overall I would highly recommend this KOA for at least a few nights as there is too much to do in this area. Please note you have to make reservations for the caverns before you go!

Camp was well taken care of. Friendly staff Bathrooms were spotless every morning. there were paper towels in the RRs However water pressure dropped at least twice while we were there. My first shower had lots of hot water with no problem. When I went on another day there was only a dribble from showers and sinks. Dinner on Friday was amazing! I would stay here again to see the Caverns.

What a nice park. It has nice big sites and easy in and out for the largest rigs. Will be back the next time we are pulling though the area.

Its pretty sad that when we check in we are advised not to drink or cook with the water cause of the hardness and high mineral content cause we could get sick, BUT, you do sell water for $2.49. We paid for FULL hookups not just elec. and sewer. The least you could of done was give us water for free. Other than that we liked our stay but the water issue alone ruined it.

The campground was clean and level lots. The staff was very friendly. I was not informed about not being able to drink, brush teeth, or cook with the water before hand or at checkins. I found out from another resident. When I asked the front desk about it she was very understanding and said they are in the process of getting a water treatment solution on their end.

Great place. My only comment was there was really loud music till about midnight. Not sure if it was coming from within the campsite or outside of it, but it did keep the kids up for a bit.

We stayed here for two days while travelling to see Carlsbad Caverns and family in NM. Had a pleasant stay.

The staff were understanding. We had some RV problems and had to adjust our stay, they were very understanding and helpful in making sure we would have a space once we could get there. Our site was an easy pull through with plenty of room for our truck. The location was also nice for visiting Carlsbad Caverns.

The KOA was mostly clean and quiet. We would maybe stay again in a pinch, but not by first choice and here’s why… 1. The website made it appear there were only two premium sites left and the rest was full. Not true. 2. We were charged an early check in fee of $10 even though the site was open and clean. 3. You can’t drink the water! Not even for coffee, so what’s the point of the hoo

Clean, roomy sites. Amenities of cable and internet did not work. The campground was close to the national parks and Sitting Bull Falls We were warned to not drink or cook with the water as it was high in calcium.

We enjoyed the quiet at this KOA but there are a few things that need to be addressed we think. Although the showers were fine the laundry area could be improved. There were 6 washers out of order of the 8 or 9. The dog walking areas were filled with stickers and the dog run itself was filled with dog poop. Some of the staff was friendly while others were a little grumpy.

First, the positives: to Kat in the office, thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality displayed during check in. You made the stay very nice. We appreciate you! The overall campground is pretty clean and has nice large open spots for an RV stay. The dog park was enclosed with a fence and the playground was fun for the kids. Overall a nice, quiet campground. Additionally, when I called to let them know we were coming in early we were allowed to park in the overflow area until our site opened up. On the cons, the drinking was disgusting. So, plan accordingly if you come out. The location is much further than expected from the Caverns(although I should have looked at this closer in my planning) about an hour away. The pool was not open and did not plan to open until after Memorial Day although it was already super hot out.

Quiet, it is quiet at night and I like it. Standard rock pull through with 50amp, water & sewer. Shade tree at my site. Cable is available as is WiFi at no charge. Pool, kitchen and club house. I was greeted kindly with a smile and a good attitude. If we are back this way I'd definitely stay again.
