Overall a good KOA. Clean, well kept property run by very nice staff. Laundry room very good. Only issue was Wi-Fi was less than desirable. Maybe tell folks no streaming or movie watching? We couldn't even check the weather on our phones due to the problem. Still, all the positives about this campground clearly outweigh this one negative.

Incredible! As a solo female traveler the hosts were super kind and informative. Not to mention the vast majority of families staying here made me feel like I was staying in a safe established residential neighborhood. Safest stay I’ve ever experienced and I’ve stayed in my fair share of campgrounds. Would 100% stay here again.

Had to use as a last minute stay. Staff was extremely friendly and found a way to help us as we had a unique situation. Each RV site had a nice camp fire set up and the bathrooms were extremely clean and warm. Important detail as it was pretty cold the night we stayed.

We were very happy with this campground. They had a wonderful rec room with a big TV. Foosball , darts , large connect four game, outdoor size checkerboard /chessboard. Lots to do.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. The showers/bathrooms were clean and the office/grounds staff were great! The sites were well kept and a nice size. There were several trails off the property that we were able to utilize while there also. It is conveniently located between Carlsbad and Roswell and several other locations for hiking. Very dog friendly and the dog parks were great!

The Carlsbad KOA is a nice level RV Park with well maintained amenities and GREAT BBQ.

Shower was dirty. The pool area was dirty and unkempt. Pools are not open in the area yet but it doesn’t mean the area should be dirty. I don’t know where they got 13 miles from Carlsbad. It’s 20! When I search for a KOA by where I am I expect it to be in the area! Not 20 miles out of town. The judges who thought this was award winning should be fired.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Grounds are well kept and clean. We experienced a severe wind storm and didn’t know if we could travel safely the next day. The staff checked and I was able to reserve my site just in case, thankfully we did not need it.

The campground had nice amenities and the view of the city at night and daybreak was beautiful. Scenery good too. However, the bathrooms had not been cleaned in the evening or early morning. And we arrived after the scheduled cleaning time. Perhaps it was due to the recent dust storm, but not sure how all the dust was getting all over the sinks and counter.

Everything was great. The camp store had everything we needed. The spots were flat and level. The playground was great for our kids. We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed it very much.

Most challenging was the highway 285 noise - there is a fence between the campground and the highway, but it could be better to help isolate the noise. I stayed in spot TV6 (the hexagon pwr/water tent area) - I thought these spots were a nice idea, so do the doves - bird poop on all the table and any wood surface area. The ground was flat and worked well for a four person tent. Great showers.

We like most of the KOAs. There will understandably be issues. During our stay there were water issues, no propane from time to time, and the Wi-Fi was extremely slow when it worked. The food is good if the kitchen was open.

You experience may be different...this is my opinion on my stay. Had the deluxe patio site and it was nothing like the site they picture on the website. Wifi had poor signal and the dog park needs more light other than the one pole light in the corner. Overall the staff was very nice and the store did have a good inventory of items needed for campers.

The sites are nice and large with all (I believe) as pull-thrus. They serve food and drive it to your site, which is a great feature. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was very poor and as a remote worker this just didn't work for me. We didn't mention it to management as we didn't believe anything could be done so that's on us. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

About an hour from the caverns and other points of interest. Large sites fhu with great showers and clean facilities. Food prepared on site and delivered to your camp site if you like. Pool closed in February.

Great campgrounds!!! Nice and quiet. Beautiful views, huge sites and tons of amenities!!! Staff is super friendly! And you can order food to be delivered to your camper! Escort to sites. Close to all attractions and town.

The park is great, big sites, utilities worked fine, hosts are great. Didn't get to check out the diner but wished I had. 45-60 minutes to the caverns and Roswell. Wifi was unusable and my att phone service was just as bad. Quite a few goat head stickers while walking the dog not bad once you learn the hotspots. Overall it's a great park and I'd like to stay again if in the area.

The bathrooms were clean, laundry was convenient, and the employees were friendly. We tented a tent spot with electricity and water. The location was right on the entrance. You could hear cars coming in and out all night. That was our only downfall. An area to do dishes will be a great addition. We will definitely be back.
