Nice facility. Store hours are kind of short compared to other KOA's. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. People were friendly and helpful.

Everything was what I expected from a KOA! The bathrooms and showers were some of the nicest I've experienced - can't wait to see what the renovation, which was posted, will entail. Thanks!

We got there after hours to find someone in our site. Luckily the place was near empty. I went to the laundromat at 8pm to clean clothes, and found no change machine. To get change, I would have to wait for the office to open at 9am the next day. We were on the road at 5:30am. Also we kept getting billed for days and days after because of the original guy who took our site was still there.

Very Dirty everywhere … unfriendly staff … laundry Maschine very old Dirty and 50% out of Order … no flexibel … from the Gas Field Comedy a Stange smell … mold in the bathrooms … We dont know why this is a KOA Campground!?!

We loved our stay with y’all! Nice pull thru spots, quiet, friendly staff! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. And far enough away from Carlsbad to really enjoy some stars.

The grounds are full of weeds, not grass are filled with thorns. Trash isn’t picked up at your site, like at other KOA HOLIDAY parks. You must take it to dumpsters. We were told at the office that the showers by the office may not work, so drive to the other ones. Kamp K9: filled with large dog poop piles. There were no poop bags, no water. This KOA is l NOT up to par for KOA Holiday

The park is clean and has a nice office and laundry. There are outdoor games available and a restaurant on site that delivers. We enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend cleaning up the full time area. Even though it is way at the back, it does look junky and sad.

Heat in main room did not work first night; was resolved at 7am. Gas smell when turned on; need to check for leaks! 2 lamps did not work 2 light bulbs in bathroom burned out Bathroom heater not working Bunk room heater knob broken; very difficult to turn on. Front door knob loose. I left a day early!

Quick overnight stay on our way farther South. Nice place, friendly check in staff. Perhaps next time we could stay longer

It was a decent place to stay in a pinch, there's not much else around. This is a gravel parking lot half the place looks like a run down trailer park with broke down vehicles and junk everywhere. The grounds were not maintained in years. The smell of sewer/septic was strong all over park but especially in the camp store! The staff is very friendly nice! Just doesn't live up to KOA standards.

Cable at this Koa sucked. It was so fuzzy we can watch it. We wanted to watch the World Series. We don’t get local channels on our Dish. Other than that the park was nice. The pool is closed for the season. It was very green though it’s close. I think you still need to maintain your pool or drain the water out of it.

Camp was nice and clean and private. They had lots of showers- one worked well but another the hot water didn’t work and I had a cold shower. There was no breakfast option and supper was pretty bland. The distance to Carlsbad Caverns was almost an hour’s drive; but the Sitting Bull waterfall they recommended though also almost an hour was absolutely gorgeous!!!

Office personnel and check in was great. Park was quiet and clean. Too many washers out of order and dog park had too much dog poo on the ground. This didn’t dystopian us from staying an extra night, but needed to be said! Overall, stay was great!

Staff were nice, but the noise for tent campers is terrible because we’re right next to the main entrance. Even trucks driving slow make a lot of noise on a gravel road. Could barely sleep past 3AM when people started leaving.

Even though it was 30 miles to Caverns, it was a quiet location. Nice facilities and plenty of space between campsites.

The young lady from California was very helpful, not only at check but also when we needed to delay our arrival due ito flood in Roswell. The other agent was glued to her screen without even a “ I’ll be with you soon” as 2 of us waiting to check in.

Upon entering the cabin there was overpowering fragrance of artificial air freshener spray so we hoped to open a window, however this was impossible as the one window had no screen at all & the other was completely torn. Ceiling was COVERED in cobwebs & 5 + live spiders were found inside plus dead ones. Also the door didn’t seal so a colony of ants continually came inside. Would never go back

The portable building used for restrooms/showers in the middle of the property should be removed. I’ve been to many KOAs and this one, by far, does not meet the standards I expect from a KOA. The location was out in the middle of nowhere making it logistically a poor choice. On a positive note, the staff were extremely knowledgeable and provided good service.

A nice welcome. What you would expect from. KOA, clean and sites in rows. The bath house was nice enough and the shower was warm. There was WiFi/TV and water/electric for each site. The pool looked clean but we didn’t have time to try it out. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay! Our site 3D was long and wide enough to fit our 40 ft 5th wheel and 2 cars. The campground is about 15-30 miles outside of Carlsbad but it was not a bad drive into town and the campground is very quiet. The staff was very pleasant as well!! If in the area again, we would there again.

Besides the pool and laundry, compared to many KOA's we have stayed at, this site was rundown. From the sign missing at the entrance to overgrown weeds around the building. The worst part was a disgruntled employee in front of my wife. No place for that. We were disappointed with our stay.

The sand spurs in the tent lots really affected our stay. They popped a camping pad through the tent, got in everyone’s shoes, ankles, sleeping bags. It was the entire focus of the stay unfortunately.

The sites are nice and clean and level. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for the surrounding sites. Beautiful night sky!!

Great spot for big RV. Safe and quiet. They also serve reasonable food on site.

When we pulled in there was a sign stating "Voted #1 KOA in New Mexico", so we were expecting to be WOW'd...well...not so much. Don't get me wrong, the staff was great, navigating the park was easy (43' 5th wheel), but it just felt like we were plopped down in the middle of a dust bowl. I understand...we really were in the middle of a dust bowl (NM), but we didn't see the WOW of a #1 rated park. It just felt...tired?? We felt safe, and maybe it was our ignorance as east coasters where everything is green, but just not our idea of an enjoyable location...no fault of the park...please understand that.

We are giving it 5 stars, because as RVers everything we needed was there. Th RVs are well spaced from each other, clean, full hook up, trash service, propane to buy and we could not hear the traffic from the highway inside our 5th wheel. The distance was a bite long but no different than other places we have stayed at.
