Very nice KOA! We loved it! Everything is beautifully kept. Showers and bathroom are VERY NICE AND CLEAN! The beds in the cabin were SO comfy!! They offer food in the evenings which is fantastic because you are out away from town a bit. Would recommend for sure!!

Great clean park. Level sites. Clean facilities and grounds. Pretty far away from neighboring towns would be my only drawback.17 miles north of Carlsbad.

We are traveling with a dog and the “sand spurs” are everywhere! She couldn’t come outside with out pain. She had to pee in the gravel road, but even there the spurs were bad. We ended up carrying her most of the time. Going into the restrooms also problematic. The wind had blown a mound of those silly thing up into a pile which you had to walk through, collecting spurs on your pants/socks/s

Hot water and good water pressure- 5 star shower experience! The rec room was huge and open 24hr, which is awesome for late check-ins. I spent 2 hrs playing games and puzzles with my kids!

So so windy we couldn't even use our propane fire pit, not their fault, staff was friendly and helpful. A bit of a hike to the caverns but not too bad, allowed us to stop in town with the toad for some supplies. A nice park.

This place spoiled us for camping. The rec room and facilities are great, on site BBQ reasonable and delicious, and the communication from management was fantastic. We will prefer KOA facilities from now on.

Great staff — very friendly and helpful. Park is very quiet and and big rig friendly. Came for a week and stayed for 6. Going back after the holidays. Located between two towns that have almost everything one needs.

Nice large lots. Staff was great. Our only complaint would be with mother nature. Cold and 25+ mph winds. Couldn't really spend any time outdoors due to the cold weather. Was easy to access but far enough from the freeway to avoid road noise. There is a refinery nearby and you can smell the propane burnout occasionally.

This is a nice facility. What impressed me most is the pet policy. My Bogle was warmly welcomed! I would definitely stay here again.

We stay in a Deluxe Cabin and enjoyed our stay. Centrally located to the places we wanted to visit.

The staff was super friendly and the deluxe cabin accommodations were clean & nice. Areas of improvement. 1. When it came to shower time, ran out of hot water (party of 6 with the 3 kids); 2. soft scouring pad to wash off cooked on food; 3. regular coffee maker & filters to the Keurig coffee maker and complimentary Keurig cups provided as I am a heavy coffee drinker and we had 2 coffee makers.

Very nice location for those that want both Carlsbad and Roswell. We had winter weather and camp host provided many updates as to weather as well as closures such as Carlsbad Caverns. Maybe put a four foot strip of grass on the Northern Dog Walk. Would make our four legged family members happy ���

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Facilities were clean and stocked. This was our first RV experience and I’ll be looking for KOA from now on!

As RV novices we made a reservation mistake. Despite arriving late in the evening, this have been trivially solved. Camp is well organized, various features and folk art around main building make it feel very friendly. Shop, bathrooms, wash/dry room were spotless. Staff was helpful and friendly. Sites wide, comfortable and well landscaped. Peaceful and safe feeling.

Everything was great overall. Bathrooms could have used a little more attention, the one stall in the men's room was out of toilet paper for at least a day. But will recommend this koa highly

The cabin was very cute and comfortable! We did have an issue with the heat but they were quick to respond and fixed the problem immediately after we contacted them. I would stay again without hesitation!

All positives with only one exception. Great sites, all the amenities. Friendly people, which is very important. The only thing that could be better is the wifi. It was pretty weak. So overall, you're doing everything right.

Dakota made our checkin very easy and pleasant. The grounds and facilities were very clean. Just a little more attention to the family restrooms. We will stop here again.

Stayed in cabin. Very nice except doorway to bathroom very small. Would not be able to fit if we were large people. Office was not open during posted open hours. Enjoyed our stay though. Would come back.

Easy late arrival check in. Essentials (FHU) worked great. Dog park clean and lots of areas to walk your dog. Park was clean and grounds well kept. Good communication by the staff.

Great family and pet friendly atmosphere. Lots of activities for kids and families. Great store. We could hear coyotes howling at sunset off in the distance. Welcoming us by name on the board outside was a nice touch. My only complaint is that there was some trash as you drive in from the highway and campsite patio had weeds growing up through it. We only stayed one night but we had a great campfire to cook on and we rested well in the peaceful setting.

The deluxe cabin was so comfortable, had everything we needed. We rented the pedal carts and played games and had so much fun! The staff was helpful and friendly

We stayed 1 night at a tent camping site with a picnic table, water, and electricity. The site was clean and well sheltered from wind blowing across the plains. There are bathrooms and showers as well as a store and recreation areas. Overall I was very impressed with how clean the facilities were and how easy the check-in and check-out processes were! It was fairly quiet being set back from the main road and other campers were generally courteous about the quiet hours. Check-in: drive up to the office and speak with the attendant at the desk to get your site information. Check-out: clean up and leave your site by the specified check-out time.
