Fun little cabin stay. The cabin could use some minor repairs but overall, a great stay, friendly staff and good location. Peaceful and quiet. Will stay again if we get the chance.

We stayed in our 30’ TT. Got there right at closing time but the manager cheerfully got us registered and told about all the amenities. Our site was clean, as was the entire park. It was quiet, too, considering it was rather full. We’ve stayed here before. It’s a well-managed park.

This is such a cool place to stay! I absolutely loved it I slept really well. the facilities were clean and the hosts were all incredible. Can't wait to come back!

Stayed for 2 nights to go to the Carlsbad Caverns. The only complaint is the distance from town and the caverns. Still doable.

Absolutely horrible the occupants in c-9 were constantly complaining saying our dogs were barking a lot in fact they weren’t until they kept walking past them and taughting them. So I kept my dogs in the camper and checked out early had paid for two nights and when I asked for a refund the front desk said we don’t give refunds. I am very unsatisfied with this stay and will never stay there aga

We were very disappointed. They advertised Wifi and there was none. If you wanted to use it you had to go to the office, she said it had been down for months. Also the pool was not open. If they don't have all the amenities then they should discount the fee. We stayed there for 3 nights and it was the most expensive campground we stay in.

Very nice and well cared for. The RV site was large with plenty of room between us and our neighbors. It seems to be in the middle of nowhere which makes for peaceful evenings around the campfire. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Would definitely stay here again if our travels find us passing through the area in the future.

We really like Carlsbad koa. It's clean. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. There's fun stuff to do like the living desert. It's a great place to camp. We can't wait to come back.

Booked a premium site but not everything that was promised was there.there was 2 other premium sites that were available but wasn't offered to move to one of them even though they were empty the whole time we were there.other than that was a very good camp ground and very nice staff

Camp itself is nice, but the pleasure is spoiled by the choice of the camp to use an above ground septic treatment pond immediately next to the campground. Very unpleasant odors permeate the campsite when the air is still or the breeze blows over the ses pool into the campsite.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They went over the top for any requests we made. Trash pickup every morning saves trips to the dumpster and food delivery to your camper door leaves you spoiled. The camping area was quiet and safe. The facilities were clean. This campground made for an excellent home for our three week adventure in the area.

The Bat Cabin was beautiful, clean and well-suited for our family vacation! We were greeted by friendly staff, and they informed us about all the amenities at the campsite. The campsite is close to plenty of options for a day trip. There were a few items in the cabin that needed to be fixed, such as the bathroom door lock and the lightpost over the charcoal grill.

It's located just where we needed to be for various excursions. We came off season, so there was no grass or leaves on many if the trees, but the park was clean and well-run. Spaces for RV's are nice & roomy-you're not right on top of your neighbor. Water presure was outstanding at the RV site, & my husband's comment about the showers was that of all the KOA's we've been to - the BEST showers!

The campground is very clean and the staff was awesome. We stayed for 2 night. It was very quiet and peaceful. Good water pressure for the RV. They did offer some food at the main building in the evening, which was great! There was a pool, but was still closed for the winter. The bathrooms n showers were pretty clean with great water pressure, although the floors could do with a good scrub.

All the toilets got plugged up and overflowed with sewage on the morning of Sunday April 12, 2026. That was a problem. We basically paid $ for bathrooms and a place to park, and had no bathrooms.

It was a quick trip to see the Cavern. The place was very clean and the staff VERY friendly. Only fuss was no SMOKED meat available as their smoker had broke and not been replaced yet. Also, the ladies bathroom in the morning was all clogged and couldn't be used.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi wasn't working and the satellite channels didn't work either. The showers were nice and hot, and the water pressure was good also. Some of the extended stay spots were junkie and not kept to the same standards as the overnight spots.

Men’s room plumbing was having issues while we were there but otherwise everything was very nice. There are two facilities for restrooms so wasn’t a big issue. Showers were clean and sites were nicely dusted. Very convenient to Sitting Bull falls and Carlsbad Caverns. And the sunset !!!!!!!

Very disappointed, worse KOA experience I’ve had. Very rude staff in office. The bathrooms were very dirty. Flooding in bathroom and showers. Dog poop all over the pet areas. It made me rethink staying at KOA camp sites. Sad how such a bad experience at one campground can change my feeling about staying at a KOA campground.

First, the positives: to Kat in the office, thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality displayed during check in. You made the stay very nice. We appreciate you! The overall campground is pretty clean and has nice large open spots for an RV stay. The dog park was enclosed with a fence and the playground was fun for the kids. Overall a nice, quiet campground. Additionally, when I called to let them know we were coming in early we were allowed to park in the overflow area until our site opened up. On the cons, the drinking was disgusting. So, plan accordingly if you come out. The location is much further than expected from the Caverns(although I should have looked at this closer in my planning) about an hour away. The pool was not open and did not plan to open until after Memorial Day although it was already super hot out.

Quiet, it is quiet at night and I like it. Standard rock pull through with 50amp, water & sewer. Shade tree at my site. Cable is available as is WiFi at no charge. Pool, kitchen and club house. I was greeted kindly with a smile and a good attitude. If we are back this way I'd definitely stay again.
