This was my first time at a KOA and I loved it! The bathrooms and showers were clean and had plenty of hot water.

It was a nice property. I had paid extra for what I thought would be a wooden swing but didn’t get that. There was also no hot water for both men and women.

We were there over Xmas and had only good experiences. The facilities were excellent and above most that we have seen elsewhere All staff, especially Julie, were very helpful and friendly

Not sure about this place, we camped twice a couple of weeks apart and only saw staff once, 10 mins before closing. Never saw another soul, we only stayed the night but it was clean and efficient. The trains were really close however and very noisy

Everyone was extremely gracious and kind. We typically stay at state parks and enjoy the space between campsites. Many KOA campgrounds do not have a lot of space between sites but yours did! Thank you so much for allowing that extra space between campers.

Great campground! Super nice staff. Already had Christmas decorations out which added to the Christmas sprit!

Overall vary nice! Back shower were dated and needed fresh caulking and paint. This location was a good distance from Hwy. would return in the future.

Would like to see you guys spray a little water on the roads when grading them to cut back on all the dust created. Food was great and the check in staff was super. Would like to get a rebate when leaving early in the morning of departure to offset any early arrival fees.

No hot water in showers. Sewers were pressure-positive, expelling stink into our hose/trailer, and all over the campground. We would not stay here again. HOWEVER, the 1 mile road adjacent to the dog walk leads to the lake, and was a beautiful offroad destination!

Traveling west we stayed two nights and visited Sitting Bull falls while in Carlsbad.

I didn't realize I had no electricity until 6:30. The papers given said the office was open until 6. I got a "VM is FULL" message to the emergency number, I tried twice hoping. Sign on the door said closed at 5:30. Crappy to spend that amount of $ to have no one anywhere to help. My neighbor was out and easily pushed the breakers on, that apparently I had not pushed on hard enough.

I would not rate this a "Deluxe" cabin. The bathroom was barely big enough to turn around. A larger person could not have even gotten in the bathroom because the entryway was so small. Not worth $150 a night. I have stayed in upscale hotel's for less with more comfort. The bed; however, was very comfortable and the front desk lady was very friendly.

I spent 4 days there relaxing and visiting Roswell and the Caverns. It was disappointing that the pool was closed but I can understand as it was Nov. Reasonably priced so I would stay there again if I'm in the area

Hi, our sight was very nice but the Dog park was a mess. Feces throughout.....this is not healthy for our dogs and they are family so we take it serious. The second day was worse no poop bags and the response from the office �� they don't care. The poop that was there was obvious was there a long time 2 full bags we removed ourselves. I have stayed at many koa this was by far the worst dog park!

Office closed before we arrived at 5:00 PM? Never saw a single staff member. Nice place for a stopover visit but didn’t get to see much but the dog walk in the dark.

Very disappointed with no hot water in the main restroom for showering, washing hands, etc. 3 days! The other restroom facility was in high need of a thorough clean and renovation.

One night stay with no prior reservation. Arrived after dark. This campground MADE IT SO EASY to find an available spot and to get settled. Check-in process was a breeze! Thank you.

I love this KOA, showers are hot, the dog park is fun, it’s a peaceful, quiet place to stay. The food is great (rib plate is amazing) and everyone is so friendly. Highly recommend!

Comfortable campground, clean. The food at the restaurant is excellent. Dog park is good. There are several stickers in the park itself which made it hard on the dogs for walks. The campground is 20 minutes from either town so it’s great to have the restaurant but while we were there it was closed 1 day we were there and also had turkey the entire time we were there which was disappointing.

The owners are so nice and so helpful. This is my third stay here and I like it very much. I loved a little gift shop and always find treasures.

Upon arrival to assigned tent campsite, there was a dead bird on tent pad. Additionally, picnic table at assigned tent site was entirely broken, leaving us unable to utilize the surface to make dinner. Have most definitely stayed at nicer KOA’s prior and was highly disappointed in the quality of accommodations.

It was a great place to stay nice size lots, great accommodations. My dog and I enjoyed walking around the campground. The dog park had many dog droppings. First time we were charged for being an hour early. Time change messed us up.

Very nice and spacious. Have a lot of amenities. We were allowed to check in early. Thank you. We we on a time crunch to get to Carlsbad caverns. Got back and was tired and didn’t want to cook. This place had food you can order and they delivered to our site. So awesome.

grosser Park mit viel Platz fuer alle Fahrzeuge, sauber und aufgeraeumt. Das wlan ist in der Leistung nicht mehr ganz Zeitgemaess und leider sehr langsam. Ansonsten immer einen Besuch werrt ;--)

We stayed for 5 nights to visit the 2 National Parks. Was very clean and comfortable. Wish the weather was better very windy 2 of our days. Nice site with picnic table and fire pit. Restaurant on premises.

Enjoyed our stay, site was very clean and the layout made it easy to maneuvre with a 42 ft 5th Wheel. We collect stickers of the ;ocations we stay at, you should consider giving a sticker as part of the registration package when checking in.

Great spot for big RV. Safe and quiet. They also serve reasonable food on site.

When we pulled in there was a sign stating "Voted #1 KOA in New Mexico", so we were expecting to be WOW'd...well...not so much. Don't get me wrong, the staff was great, navigating the park was easy (43' 5th wheel), but it just felt like we were plopped down in the middle of a dust bowl. I understand...we really were in the middle of a dust bowl (NM), but we didn't see the WOW of a #1 rated park. It just felt...tired?? We felt safe, and maybe it was our ignorance as east coasters where everything is green, but just not our idea of an enjoyable location...no fault of the park...please understand that.

We are giving it 5 stars, because as RVers everything we needed was there. Th RVs are well spaced from each other, clean, full hook up, trash service, propane to buy and we could not hear the traffic from the highway inside our 5th wheel. The distance was a bite long but no different than other places we have stayed at.
