Was great, except for lighting at bath house after dark.

Overall, was a positive stay but there were 3 issues. No hot water for showers due to a boiler failure which was unable to be fixed during our stay. The men’s toilet was clogged. It was fairly cool at night and we were unable to adjust the cabin’s air conditioning.

Very friendly and helpful staff, easy checking in. Campground was well maintained. We stayed 2 nights while checking out the caverns. Will definitely stay again if we get that direction.

The location was good. But by this time in our trip, I needed to do laundry but it closed 8pm, didn’t open til 8am. For ppl staying 1 night it’s highly inconvenient. All other KOA’s we’ve stayed are 24/7. Was a real disappointment; I woke up at 4am to do laundry… A single light bulb over the door in ladies room at night was only adequate, but shower was great, hot water and nice water pr

All was great. You should not say you have a pool, I’ve seen many reviews on other sites that say it has been open for quite some time.

This was one of the nicer KOA’s we have stayed in. The staff were very friendly and our spot was roomy and somewhat shaded. They offer hot meals and will even deliver them, which is nice since there are no close restaurants. We did not use the restrooms or shower but we saw many that did.

Ridiculous. Too far to Caverns. Pool is a disgrace. So green and parts laying everywhere. Accent pond is disgusting. Basketball hoop is bent and net torn. Volleyball net is torn and court overrun with weeds. Needed to shorten stay one day and you wouldn't refund. Voted #1? Then you are the only one who voted

VERY spacious campsites which are very easy to get into and out of. WiFi doesn't work at the campsites, you must be near the office. Also cable TV connections are provided at the sites however signal quality is very poor - I switched back to my own antenna. Another downside is all the golf carts and ATV's running throughout the campground during the day which got annoying. Otherwise nice!

This KOA has an incredible staff! So friendly and efficient. We felt very welcomed and had a great time. After spending most of the day at Carlsbad, caverns, we came back and ordered dinner from the restaurant and hung out and played in their fabulous game room. The food was excellent too.

Facility entrance is too small for larger vehicles and blocked when checked in. 34 foot drive-through had a tree and cars parked in front unable to drive through very disappointing too bad, older facility just too small and Design.

We arrived in the middle of an incoming storm. It highlighted the desert scenery surrounding the campground. We really appreciated the kitchen after a long day driving. It was delicious. I had ribs and my wife had turkey with all the fixings. It is a little way from the caverns, but the office hooked me up with a late departure so we could visit the caverns and come back and pick up the trailer.

Stayed three nights. Campground is very clean and staff friendly. Sites were large and flat, easy to get into and exit. Facilities were well kept and clean as well. Would return here if opportunity provides.

We enjoyed our stay at the Carlsbad KOA campground with cute southwest touches. It was a good basecamp to visit Carlsbad Caverns. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Bathrooms were super clean!

We are not sure why this park was rated #1, the park itself was not maintain. Womens shower house was did not have hot water, the grass what little there was was not mowed, the pool hadn't been touched in a long time, the so called koi pond was muddy. I don't think there was any fish. Our grass spot was full of stickers and thorns. We saw workers. Not working alo We will bypass this campground

Big roomy sites even for larger rigs. Not jammed up right next to the campers beside you. Excellent - loved it. Definitely recommend.

First, the positives: to Kat in the office, thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality displayed during check in. You made the stay very nice. We appreciate you! The overall campground is pretty clean and has nice large open spots for an RV stay. The dog park was enclosed with a fence and the playground was fun for the kids. Overall a nice, quiet campground. Additionally, when I called to let them know we were coming in early we were allowed to park in the overflow area until our site opened up. On the cons, the drinking was disgusting. So, plan accordingly if you come out. The location is much further than expected from the Caverns(although I should have looked at this closer in my planning) about an hour away. The pool was not open and did not plan to open until after Memorial Day although it was already super hot out.

Quiet, it is quiet at night and I like it. Standard rock pull through with 50amp, water & sewer. Shade tree at my site. Cable is available as is WiFi at no charge. Pool, kitchen and club house. I was greeted kindly with a smile and a good attitude. If we are back this way I'd definitely stay again.
