Average campground. Just an open flat field with sites. The showers at the back of the campground were great! It was fine.

The park is nice enough with friendly office staff. Plenty of space between sites and easy to get to. The pool was broken and they had no idea when it would be fixed. There was only one activity and it was smores at 5PM when it was 95 out.

Poor experience - quite bad in fact. Grounds are not as pictured online- deceptive marketing. Tent area covered in ant hills, flies galore due to piles of trash at dumpsters. Bathrooms not cleaned the entire stay and were absolutely disgusting. When we spoke with the front desk we were told they were understaffed and would be cleaned after we left. Left a day early.

Pool was closed and Internet didn't work at all at our site (Internet was why we selected this location). We were told that we could come to the office to use the internet, but that wouldn't work b/c we wanted to watch a movie. When we asked about a small discount for no pool and no internet, we were told that we were only entitled to water and electric, not entitled to pool & Internet.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were kept up beautifully. We stayed in the cabin and had no complaints. Comfortable and cleaned.!

For the most part I enjoyed my stay…BUT the fly problem was of biblical perportions. I asked for some assistance at the counter and was told there was nothing they could do. Everyone in the tent coral was innodated and the could get the area sprayed, or fly strips or light traps. SOMETHING could be done if they wanted to.

The staff here was great!!! Unfortunately the pool was closed, there was no cable or over the air TV and the water was atrocious!! Sorry to have to say it wasn’t a pleasant stay.

Overall we had everything we needed on this trip, full hookups and clean water, but were disappointed with the amenities and management. Pool was closed with no notice, kids ran wild trashing the rec room and torturing wildlife, and dogs ran unleashed pooping wherever. It seemed ironic that we received a text about our speed exiting one day while we saw no other rules enforced.

Friendly Staff, clean grounds, but the website shows a pool which was not open. The water in the pool was green, so the problem with the pool was long term. Overall, our stay was ok.

WiFi did not work, pool was broken, staff not able to answer many questions. It was clean and fine for an overnight stay. I just expect more when I stay at a holiday vs a journey. The birds were lovely.

The pool was shut down, the restaurant was closed, yet they charged full price. The facility was rather stark, but fairly clean.

I'm sorry to have to say this.... but.... no running water in sink in the bathroom... grounds...... i picked up stuff lafr over from prior campers on my camp site.... would not consider taying there again.... have been to many different KOA's over the last few years that I would love to visit again.... this one.... not!

I have stayed in several KOAs, and this one was the dirtiest most unfriendly one I have stayed at. The hospitality was slim to none. My children did enjoy the rec room, but the pool was closed. I received several rude text messages addressing campers that I feel were completely unnecessary. I will not stay here again.

We were upset that the pool was out of commission but we really liked how the Tent City was set up and the other amenities were well worth the price.

We had a great time, and were happy to stay at the Carlsbad KOA. It was well kept and well managed. The only improvement I would suggest is that some weed spray be done to take care of all the Goat Head weeds. There were so many that we couldn't hardly take a step without getting goat heads in our shoes. All the KOA balls were flat because of it, and our air mattress went flat because of it

The pool is closed due to unforseen circumstances? Their restaurant is also closed. The bathroom toilets were constantly backed up. The grass areas at the campsites are really nothing but weeds with stickers. We were very disappointed in this KOA and will not be returning.

Great location to Brantley State Park. I wish the bathrooms were cleaner/nicer. Other than that everything was great.

I have stayed at many KOAs, and this one left much to be desired in comparison to all the others. It was disappointing to see the pool and shop closed on a holiday weekend that is traditionally a peak camping time. My campsite had trash left from previous camper and severely broken picnic table. Restroom facilities were clean. I should've stayed at the state park instead for the price.

Two nights in a TT, full hookups, level site, A little further from the Cave than we thought but ok, Pool and kitchen were out of service during our stay, Holiday weekend so it was full and noisy, great place if you have kids. Good T Mobile service, friendly staff

We were informed when we checked in that the swimming pool was closed due to a broken part. We never received any text or email notification of it. When we pulled up to our campsite there was dog poop and trash. We took care of it so we wouldn’t step on it during our setup. Two dumpsters far away on each side of the park, overflowing onto the ground with trash. Worst KOA so far, never again.

This was our first time staying at a KOA campground. We had an awesome time tent camping in the area with the electricity and water. The staff were very nice and helpful. The facility/restroom were very clean. The kitchen has some challenges, so we didn’t get to try the BBQ (no big deal). The overall experience was great! We will for sure visit again if we are in the area.

They didn’t notify us that the pool and kitchen Weren’t available till we were on our way on a holiday weekend and the pool had been Down for months as it was dark green the grass area’s were weeds the place was rundown. it was the worst koa I have ever been to they really need to take a good look at themselves.the store also had very few items.

Stayed in the Kasa cabin, no bathroom. Make sure to remember to bring your own linens. Great facilities on site, bathrooms and showers, store. Cool 4 wheel pedal bikes to rent.

Great RV spots. Very spacious! Well kept, very clean. About 45 mins from Carlsbad Caverns. They do make pizzas on site, but the nearest restaurant or store is about 30mins. Still really great KOA

Showers were wonderful, staff was friendly. Liked the activity room and games. Price was reasonable. If anything was not right, I would say that shower curtains need cleaned routinely, they had mildew on the bottom
