We were assigned the Prickly Pear Cabin. It was not cool & there was no remote for the AC. Water was standing in the bathroom floor. Only 2 twin flat sheets, 1 pillow case, & 1 small blanket. No towels, wash cloths, or rugs. No dish cloths or towels for the kitchen. I called the after hours number, they moved us to the next cabin & brought the necessary linens All was fine after that.

We've stayed at this facility several times and will continue too. Staff is friendly. It's a quiet place.

There were absolutely no trees in the tent camping pad area. We were the only tent there and they put us way out in the hottest site. The website was deceptive as there was no shade and it was ridiculously hot at this time of year.

The campground has all that is needed. However, it is much further from Carlsbad than anticipated. The website, app, and welcome email all state that the office and store are open until 7pm, but upon arriving around 6pm, I found that they are both closed at 5pm. Given the drive back from the national park and dinner was needed, we were never able to interact with the hosts or use the store.

We loved the game room, outdoor games, and pool. We did not like the rancid smell every morning, water quality (undrinkable, smelled like bleach, burned our skin and eyes), the fact that the campground is far from everything, and the limited store hours and items. Being so far from stores, it would be nice to be able to grab basics (milk/eggs/etc) right there.

Nothing there to do. Stores are 25-30 miles away and shop there closes at 5 or so. Also water full of bleach, burns your eyes

Nice campground with wide roads and long spots. We didn't use any of the facilities.

The camp was a little "tired" and could use some TLC. The website was great and check-in and payment was easy.

I love that I can have a really good barbecue dinner there. Lots of wildlife in the campground makes it fun to see while sitting outside…

No fridge in room. No security locks on bathroom. Very string sulphur smell due to location. I would have paid less and gotten a whole lot more for a hotel room in Carlsbad or Whites City.

Management was friendly and the grounds were clean. The cabin was not clean, the spider webs had not been removed in some time. The floors and bathroom was not cleaned well in a very long time especially the shower. The toilet was clean, the sink was clean but the floors had not been mopped, the shower had not been scrubbed and the shower curtain was pretty gross.

Accommodations were nice, KOA personnel were very cordial & friendly. Would stay here, again, but at a cooler time of year. Too hot in July.

Not accommodating, asked to up date lodging but said there were none but the 2 days we were there the cabins we would have liked better were never occupied. Restrooms lacking in cleanliness, no paper towels for one day as well as, toilet paper not in handicap stall and certainly not very friendly.

I was there to visit Carlsbad Caverns, which are about 30 minutes away. This is a nice facility with a pool, game room, store etc.The bathroom and showers were clean, and full hookups in the RV sites. Gas and charcoal grills throughout the park.

I tried calling the after hours number due to the fact we were out of propane for our grill, which we were using to cook our dinner. We went over to another site because we never got a call back and took to get from an open site. Just really as a sidenote, we went over to play basketball or do some sports with the kids and all the balls were flat. The outside games and cold pool was great!

We have traveled from Indiana to Arizona and then New Mexico. Staying at KOA the until time 6 total. This was the 1st time we encountered so much negativity. Very unwelcoming multiple signs stating what not to do as well as one in the door stating. We were charged for a patio site(that I called and requested if available) and we didn’t have a grill. I was then told it was actually a workers site

Staff needs a class on hospitality. I don't know if your entire staff realizes they are in a customer service industry. If they don't want to work here or in this industry and chose to have a giant chip on their shoulder they can chose to have employment elsewhere instead of taking it out on guests.The only person deserving of 5 stars is the one on the front end.

This place was really run down and the cabin we stayed in was disgusting. There were cobwebs all over, dishes were not clean and even had insect poop in them. AC wasn’t working and other issues that the character limit won’t let me mention. I have pics too, that I will post in a google review. We paid $215 each night for a horrible experience. Stay away from this place!!

Felt safe there; campground was great for families. Bathroom counters in main office bathrooms were difficult to use because no counter space to set items down; auto water faucets were hard to use; only stayed for a night. Hot water took a while to get going but was hot out so NBD. Sort of expensive compared to something like the Santa Fe KOA which had much nicer restrooms and grounds.

The bathrooms were a bit rustic. Two of the three sinks did not work and a pile of garbage near the building presented a terrible odor and many flies. But the grounds were nice and spacious and the dog park was really nice.

Nice park overall. They’re doing their best at running a park in the desert. My problem is calling this a “Holiday” when all the sites are dusty gravel and the water supply is not drinkable. Bring your own drinking water to this park. It is the desert, so I ran my AC and the power pole breaker tripped on me once. The staff is great.

Very close to Roswell and Carlsbad Caverns. Fun activities for the children and clean restrooms/showers.

Great RV spots. Very spacious! Well kept, very clean. About 45 mins from Carlsbad Caverns. They do make pizzas on site, but the nearest restaurant or store is about 30mins. Still really great KOA

Showers were wonderful, staff was friendly. Liked the activity room and games. Price was reasonable. If anything was not right, I would say that shower curtains need cleaned routinely, they had mildew on the bottom
