CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The average tent site price across all KOAs in 2023 is $54. Ours was $56. The vast, vast majority of the other KOAs don't have a creek right beside their tent sites, so I'm comfortable charging $2 more than average.

We stayed only for one night but were impressed with the well kept grounds, facilities and gift shop. A wide variety of sites for various types of campers. Very much worth the travel from Minnesota. Would definitely recommend!

We are rooftop tenters, roadtripping from PA to Washington State and we stayed here on our return trip home. This campground is by far our #1 favorite on our trip. Everyone respected quiet hours, the facilities were immaculately clean and the tenters bath house was conveniently located. Highly recommend the sites beside the creek, you won't be disappointed!

Outstanding campground! Bathrooms were very clean and looked newly-renovated. The grounds were so clean and well-maintained they looked manicured. Owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. Despite being located between two interstates, it was very quiet at night. Unlike many other KOAs, this one is not near train tracks or an airport and the tent sites are far from the road. Perfect KOA! A+

Stopped here traveling between Boulder and Bozeman both ways. Nice tent spots near the river, clean with grass. Buffalo is a cool little town to walk around in with a riverside trail.

Res. in Jan. for July. Assigned site 23, much too narrow for our 25ft motorhome. Couldn’t open awning at all-tree branches both sides of site. Then to make our stay even worse, at 6:30pm an outdoor wedding reception began at the hotel right next door to us.DJ and loud music, cheering, etc continued til after11pm when thunderstorm ended that. Site 23 is a beautiful Tent/RV site nestled in a corner with trees that people love. Big site for small rigs. Why did you complain in a review instead of asking for a different site? Seems like a choice to be unhappy. Music out of our control- we are working to ensure end by 10 pm.

Beautiful!!! One of, if not THE BEST we've ever visited. Staff are amazing. Grounds, bathrooms and facilities are spotless, peaceful and beautiful. Even doing laundry was enjoyable. Centrally located to many sites in the area. I highly recommend finding a reason to stay here. Thank you to you all!!!

Although we where there only 1 night, the camp ground is very clean and the staff was very friendly. The only issue was the huge wedding party going on next door at the Hampton. I know it's hard to control other business's, but it would have been nice if they would consider a 10pm quite time so the campers next door don't have to listen to the loud music. Just a thought. Thanks!

Buffalo KOA is one of the nicest KOA’s we’ve camped at. The grounds and buildings are immaculate and very close to the Historical Western Downtown. The family all work and live at the resort and are very pleasant and accommodating. Most up to date and cleanest bathrooms and showers in any KOA we’ve experienced. We would definitely return.

I had a lovely large tent campsite, with an excellent tent platform. Restroom nearby with a very good shower. Altogether, a delightful camping experience! This was my second time camping at this KOA, and I'm planning to return when traveling next year.

The owners / staff were fantastic! Gave GREAT recommendations on what to do, what to see and how to get there. Everything was immaculate in terms of the facilities and we will be back! Really, I would rate them way higher that a 5 if I had the opportunity!

This is the best KOA we have ever stayed in! The facilities were wonderful and clean! The Staff…..excellent, helpful, friendly, very good people! We will always stay at this KOA when we pass through! Fantastic!

We love this Koa! It’s beautiful, tree covered and the clear creek runs right through it. The bathrooms are clean and the laundry facilities are useful.

Very cute small town, camp is the best KOA I have seen. Great steak restaurant just down the street (3 minute walk). It made a great stop along our long journey.

Wow! What a great KOA!! We truly enjoyed the site, the stream, the cleanliness, the layout! Buffalo has become my very favorite KOA! Keep up the great work! We will definitely return and hope Site 55 is available 👍🏻🇺🇸

Stayed here on night early March when it was still closed for the season. We called and they were accommodating. Paid via the dropbox in the main office. Laundry and bath facilities were open. We had to use the water fill station due to sub freezing temps but that is expected this time of year- no water at the sites. We were very appreciative to have a place with power and water to stay overnight.

We became stranded due to car trouble, in December! We called and they called us back immediately and had us a cabin in just a few minutes. We ended up staying 2 nights. The restrooms and showers were clean and water temperature perfect! Such a beautiful area and the residents of Buffalo are so nice!!
