We were told by owner on phone we would get a significant refund. He said that they always shut off water to park on Oct 15 however at 6pm on Oct 14 water was shut off. We from the check in to that night about water. He then had to move us to another very smaller spot. I seen him the morning of 15 he said they dropped the ball. Then his daughter gave us 44.00 back. What a untruthful greedy pers

You are being disingenuous. We refunded you $120+. You were disrespectful and insulted our staff and me. We owned up to the mistake of not informing you about the water. You were given multiple options, a steep discount, and stayed 4 more nights after the incident. The whole story is more truthful.

The stay at Buffalo KOA in Wyoming was wonderful. The staff was on their game and so friendly. this campground was clean and a safe great to be. We rented a cabin and found that it was perfect for my wife and I. clean, warm and comfortable. We will recommend this KOA to everyone.

Stayed in a camper cabin. Was clean and tidy. Grateful for the heater. Only complaints were lack of call back and short office hours.

We used an RV spot and a cabin. This was the first time needing a cabin, and we would not hesitate to do it again. It worked out really well for us.

We had a great stay at Buffalo KOA. The site was easy to access and had full hookup. The showers and bathrooms were clean. The only drawback for us was that it was raining while we were there and the showers were a bit of a walk from our site. It would have been nice to have had access to the tent camp shower house.

We love the Buffalo KOA. The owners and staff have developed this campground into a beautiful and unique facility. It is always a pleasure to visit and enjoy the Buffalo area. Wonderful place.

Arrived campground after hours. There were no tent/primitive sites posted for after hours. I called the number to figure out what to do but there was only a voicemail option, so I proceeded to reluctantly use a RV spot. We only needed a place to park for the evening. In the morning the associate did help me and gave a discount but still ridiculous to pay $63 to park a van.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Came in late, no reservation. Another guest had already taken the tent site we posted. You call, but don't listen...it says if you press "1" you can reach us. You decide to take an RV spot, with the price written on it, then leave us a bad review...even after discounting it to $57 in the morning.

I usually stay for 2 days, on my way to & from Yellowstone National Park where I work in the summer. It is a relaxing park in a relaxing town. All sites are pull throughs which helps me a lot. I also like the recycling bins as I am an avid recycler.

One morning, the lawn service showed up and sprayed the lawns next to our trailer site. When I asked the guy doing the spraying how long before it would be safe to walk on the newly-sprayed lawns, he told me to stay off at least one hour. We were not given any advance warning from the KOA staff of this. Good thing I asked so I could keep ourselves and our dog off the fresh chemicals. Not Good!

Very pretty campground. Roomy sites with lots of grass and walks along the river for our furry friends. Would return again if in the area.

Great experience at this KOA. Employees are helpful and friendly. Bathrooms perfect. I appreciate the consistency of KOA when we are traveling cross country.

One of the best KOAs we have stayed at. We were in a creek-side patio site which was wonderful. We are already looking for reasons to come back this way so we can stay here again.

Beautiful spot in back along the creek. A little noisy at night but it would not stop me from returning. The park is exceptionally clean and well maintained. One of the nicer KOAs.

We love the Buffalo KOA. It is so nicely kept, the fire pits, grills and patios are a bonus to the amazing backdrop of the bighorn mountains.

Very easy access and cleanest showers and bathrooms! We stayed in a cabin with our two dogs and the price was 1/2 of what we would’ve paid at a 3* hotel. Great pet relief area too.

The Buffalo Wyoming KOA is one of the nicest KOAs we’ve stayed at this year. Lovely grounds, well organized, well cared for, spotless. We will definitely stay there again!

What a great KOA! Clean and well kept. Gravel roads and pads with grass. Beautiful, mature trees with a creak you can walk. Friendly, helpful staff. Definitely recommend. We stayed here in late October.

So many times I'm disappointed by where I stay but this was one place that I wish I could've stayed longer and is definitely on my bucket list to go back to it's just an absolutely lovely campground with very friendly staff I arrived a little before check-in time but they didn't make me wait they got me right in.
