The stay at Buffalo KOA in Wyoming was wonderful. The staff was on their game and so friendly. this campground was clean and a safe great to be. We rented a cabin and found that it was perfect for my wife and I. clean, warm and comfortable. We will recommend this KOA to everyone.

Stayed in a camper cabin. Was clean and tidy. Grateful for the heater. Only complaints were lack of call back and short office hours.

We used an RV spot and a cabin. This was the first time needing a cabin, and we would not hesitate to do it again. It worked out really well for us.

Very easy access and cleanest showers and bathrooms! We stayed in a cabin with our two dogs and the price was 1/2 of what we would’ve paid at a 3* hotel. Great pet relief area too.

This is the best experience I've had at a KOA camping cabin. The cabin was clean and updated. There were good options for taking care of my dogs. The kitchen and bathroom were right there. The campground was well laid out, clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Our only complaint is the store closed early so we couldn’t buy firewood and ice-cream in the evening.

Great accommodations and bathrooms were nice and clean. We also appreciated the pavilion with the sink for cleaning dishes and the microwave. Thanks for a great stay!

A beautiful KOA and one we will always stay at when in the area. You can tell it is family owned and this makes the campground so much better than most. Bathrooms were clean and in great condition.

This was a great stay for the weekend! My only complaint is the wasps at our camp! Man, where they ever terrible! There were sites that we knew people staying in and they had no issue with wasps. I know you can't help when it comes to nature but being so kid forward, its a little concerning to have so many in one little area, especially near where the kids can play. Maybe some traps would help.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Oh no! We have a dual Raid can wielding outdoor crew ready on stand by just for this issue. If you let us know while you are here, we can set them loose on the wasps to save the children.

They were soo friendly and kind. I had a bad experience at the one in Hardin Mt and was reluctant to stay at a KOA again. I had a totally different experience here. I wouldn’t stay at the one in Hardin Mt ever again and would warn any person of color to stay there they are racist. Buffalo Wyoming KOA is definitely a recommend. It is beautiful and the cabins are clean and the A/C is a plus.

My kids loved the playground and all the games. The cabin was very nice with comfy beds, and the showers were very clean.

It's the perfect place for us to stay with our dog. There are so many activities and the grounds are beautiful, and being able to relax by the fire was an added bonus. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I were just traveling thru and needed a spot to stay for the night, and the Buffalo KOA Journey was the best spot! More fun & cheaper than a hotel, and they allowed pets too! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and everything was really nice & clean. Definitely going to stop again on our next drive thru Wyoming!

Nice location with well-kept grounds and clean bathrooms/showers. Check-in took a painfully long time. It was disappointing to be charged a cleaning fee for our service animal when the cabin was sweltering hot upon arrival(A/C was not turned on), had debris on the floor, and the trash can liner hadn’t been replaced. Our site also had a significant number of yellow jackets- swarmed while cooking.

Buffalo KOA worked with us when we had issues with our motor home and allowed us to switch to renting a cabin. We value the flexibility and support provided. Great location. The front desk were helpful in recommending local restaurants. We will stay here again!

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Buffalo KOA. The owners and staff are very welcoming and the campground is beautiful.

This was the the second time staying in the same cabin. Last time this cabin was a family one, and we book for a couples cabin and ended up in the same one. With that said they have updated this cabin with new flooring and bed with two chairs.floor may need to be reajusted coming apart. Overall still a nice KOA, recommend going.

We stayed in a cabin. The opportunities for recreation as well as the laundry and individual showers were great. Customer service was great. The pool was refreshing. Porch shade was perfect. The only change I would do is more individualized toilets, better privacy in the toilet space like steps on the door closure slots. Thank You

The Buffalo KOA is nestled in the valley of the beautiful Bighorns. The hosts were helpful and friendly and quick to respond. The bathrooms were clean and the property well maintained. Staying here inspired me to check out other KOA’s.

We were in a cabin that fit our family of six comfortably and it was close to the bathrooms and showers. The cabin was clean and warm. We had a safe and comfortable stay.

What a treat to travel in March and be able to stay at a KOA cabin in Wyoming. The cabins are located close to the bathrooms, which is important when you have children. The kids had fun on the playground, playing giant chess and giant Connect 4. The bathrooms and the whole campground are clean and well taken care of. Will definitely stay there again.

What a great KOA! Clean and well kept. Gravel roads and pads with grass. Beautiful, mature trees with a creak you can walk. Friendly, helpful staff. Definitely recommend. We stayed here in late October.

So many times I'm disappointed by where I stay but this was one place that I wish I could've stayed longer and is definitely on my bucket list to go back to it's just an absolutely lovely campground with very friendly staff I arrived a little before check-in time but they didn't make me wait they got me right in.
