We've stayed here several times over the years, but never in the middle of the park. The 5.5 mph speed limit is NOT enforced at all. Vehicles driving WAY too fast day and night, and the employees in golf carts were going fast enough to kick up dust. Not a good example to set for customers IMO. Also our neighbors disregarded the leash rules completely and their dogs attacked another dog. UGH

We are very frustrated by the speeding as well. We work hard to enforce rules, but the deed is done when we engage. We may need to put in speed bumps. The dust was most likely caused by needing gravel, which we were finally able to get from the pit, but I'll talk to all the drivers.

Absolutely one of the BEST campgrounds! Beautiful site, clean, great shower and bathrooms, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend!!!

Well tended park. Level gravel sites with concrete pads for a picnic table and firepit. Using the Clear Creek trail you can walk into downtown Buffalo in 30 minutes or less. Great home base for Longmire Days.

Paul and crew are fantastic. Really went above and beyond when we had to take our Class C to a mechanic - switched us to a cabin and even made room in their own personal freezer for the things we had in our RV freezer. Great people and so kind. The cabin, grounds, bathrooms, showers and store are very tidy and spotlessly clean. Good recommendation for food in the area, too!

What a great KOA. We had one of the Patio sites and it was awesome. This KOA should have a higher rating than just a Journey as we have stayed a some other KOA's that were Holidays and Resorts that were nowhere near as nice as this one. Keep up the good work and if we are ever back in your neck of the woods your campground will be where we stay!!

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds we have ever stayed at in our lives. The facilities are newer, well-maintained and the overall appearance is excellent. The Owners really care about this destination. Simply one of the best!

The park was so clean. Our spot was wonderful, right across from the creek that runs around part of the park. It also had a great concrete patio, nice table with 4 chairs, a gas grill AND a Solo stove with 2 Adirondack chairs to sit at the fire. I wish we were there for more than one night.

This is a very nice park. We loved the little stream flowing through it. WiFi could have been better. What we don't understand is that we tried to change sites after we arrived, but were told all sites are reserved. We tried to reserve a specific site before we arrived and were told they don't do that. So how are some sites reserved, but we couldn't?

We stayed at the campground when it was first built many years ago. The trees were small and shade was rare. Now the trees had matured and it is beautiful. The current owner has made many improvements.

Beautiful park right on the creek. Very well maintained and the spacing between RVs was larger than many KOAs.

Our newest section is built to meet the demands of our modern RV traveler with lots of room to accommodate those big rigs traveling on the road today and offers a more private experience with only 22 sites. It is amazing how much bigger rigs are than when this park was built in the early 90's.

Absolutely beautiful camp ground! Very kind hosts.my kids really enjoyed the stay here. Very family friendly. FYI If you come in summer months don’t forget the mosquito spray, mosquitoes are killers out here.

So glad you loved the campground. Mosquitos are generally not an issue especially in July when things are so dry. However, we have had a 250% increase in normal rainfall - this makes for a mosquito haven - and they are makin up for lost time! See you next time!

Best KOA we have ever stayed at, and we have stayed at several in different states. Form the owners, to the staff, to the accommodations, everything was superb. Also one of the best maintained KOAs we have every stayed at. You can tell the owners take pride in running and maintaining this KOA.

This family has done a fantastic work on fixing up this RV park. I believe we had the best site in the new section. The creek flowed right next to the site along with several other sites. Also they were very kind and helpful.

The campground itself was nice and a nice location. Site 13 was probably not the 5 stars of most of the other sites we noticed. Buggy, weedy and seemed unkept. Old rotting leaves, one of the few sites with no fire pit. Luckily for us it was only one night. Certainly not worth the $73 rate in our opinion.

Economy sites have limited amenities for the price they are offered at. We will bring a small fire pit to sites if requested -our staff is just a phone call away. We offer many sites at different price points to accommodate a variety of budgets and descriptions on the website lists amenities.

Beautiful site in the newer section. The staff was very helpful about things to see and where we could exercise our labs. Would be happy to stay again. Laundry was clean and reasonably priced.

Wow! What a great KOA!! We truly enjoyed the site, the stream, the cleanliness, the layout! Buffalo has become my very favorite KOA! Keep up the great work! We will definitely return and hope Site 55 is available 👍🏻🇺🇸

Stayed here on night early March when it was still closed for the season. We called and they were accommodating. Paid via the dropbox in the main office. Laundry and bath facilities were open. We had to use the water fill station due to sub freezing temps but that is expected this time of year- no water at the sites. We were very appreciative to have a place with power and water to stay overnight.
