Nice campground with water running by. And lots of trees. Cabin was your basic cabin but it’s fine because I take my dog so it works well. The bathrooms were close so that was good too.

We had a very brief overnight stay in a Kozy Kabin. As always everything was clean and well maintained. We love the Buffalo KOA

We stayed in a Kamping Kabin. It worked well for our needs. Bathrooms and showers in the main building were always clean. The camping spots along the river are beautiful. Will definitely stay again!

Was there for a week. The in camp store was not open the hours that were posted. Kind of irritating that we could not buy ice when we needed it.

You are right, our store hours sign is incorrect. I'm sorry we didn't meet your needs. Store hours shift as we move out of the peak season. We do pride ourselves as always being available, as we live here on site, so please don't hesistate to call us as our sign on the store door states.

This KOA is close to town which I found advantageous if you're investigating Buffalo. The welcome staff had my reservation and a smile and... patience! The door to my cabin offered a generous squeak. I asked for some household oil - I'd readily take care of it but the staff came right away and silenced what would have been an annoying sound. I am thankful for their grace and civility.

We needed a short, quiet, overnight rest in the Buffalo area on our long road trip. We often pack our bed linens on trips to allow for a Kozy Kabin and save much over the cost of a hotel room. The Buffalo KOA has always been clean, quiet, and very, very friendly for this use on our trips. We also get a peaceful pleasant evening stroll in the well kept camp before we retire.

The staff members I interacted with were very helpful and friendly; with the exception of when I asked about the heating & was told to wait a couple of days. I know he was most likely joking, but the weather had taken a turn & I just wanted to make sure it was safe to run the cabin heater since it was probably turned off. The K9 Kamp could use lights at night!! Cabin comfortable! Area clean!

Oh no! Sorry for the miss understanding on our part. Paul is very much a kidder. The amenities in the cabins are always ready to use no matter the weather. We will check the solar lights to make sure they are doing their job. Thank you for letting us know about your experience.

Very clean, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful as well. The KOA at Buffalo WY is perfectly located next to two small rivers and is a gorgeous spot!

What a wonderful KOA. It was so clean and organized and you could tell the owners really care about their guests. This was a stop on a journey to South Dakota but we said we need to come again and stay longer!

This is what a KOA should be. Clean, quiet, friendly. Stayed in one of the Cozy cabins during the week for one night. Some road noise but died off in the evening. We had a late arrival but greeted by the owner. Overall happy campers

We love our happy campers! We have a lovely mountain stream setting with the convenience of town - meaning you hear some light road noise with the work of the day but night time is very quiet.

Some of the tent pads had standing water. We were able to switch to a different site however the tent pad was not big enough for our tent. We ended up renting a cabin for the night.

Yes, it has been really wet even our raised tent pads are saturated. Remember at check-in, we said we were at 250% of normal for rain in our area? It even rained the day you arrived. I'm glad we were able to accomodate you in cabin. It is very likely the next time you stay we will be dried out. :)

Loved the camping cabin with the grill and swing out front. The owners/family were very personable & helpful finding hiking trails. The grounds were very nice and close to the river and a convenience store. Loved our 2 night stay.

They are experts at their jobs - Alyssa has been doing this since she was 13-over 7 years-and can run our office blindfolded! Rowan has been doing this for 6 years and is the most capable manager - I appreciate her easy going style!

This is our 3rd year with the Buffalo KOA, and we choose this location every year because of how clean the cabins are, the shower house is cleaned daily and as an OCD person, I LOVE THAT! I always enjoy seeing their friendly faces when we arrive because I never stress about how my stay is going to go. Thanks guys!

It was good. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. We had to move the beds and sweep the cabin for spiders though. Kamper Kitchen ran out of hot (warm) water very quickly and made dishwashing tough. A little bit of road noise, but all in all a convenient and welcoming stay to explore the area.

Wow! What a great KOA!! We truly enjoyed the site, the stream, the cleanliness, the layout! Buffalo has become my very favorite KOA! Keep up the great work! We will definitely return and hope Site 55 is available 👍🏻🇺🇸

Stayed here on night early March when it was still closed for the season. We called and they were accommodating. Paid via the dropbox in the main office. Laundry and bath facilities were open. We had to use the water fill station due to sub freezing temps but that is expected this time of year- no water at the sites. We were very appreciative to have a place with power and water to stay overnight.

We became stranded due to car trouble, in December! We called and they called us back immediately and had us a cabin in just a few minutes. We ended up staying 2 nights. The restrooms and showers were clean and water temperature perfect! Such a beautiful area and the residents of Buffalo are so nice!!
