The staff was top notch, always friendly and helpful. The site with the dog run and patio next to the motorhome was a blessing for our active pup he was able to run free and watch the people going by in front while having privacy on the other 3 sides. They had larger rocks along the 3 sides so he wouldn’t try to dig along the fence. He rated it 5 STARS.

Was very nice very nice staff as well as a very kept up camp ground. Our location was beautiful and the sound of the running water by the river was great. Thank you for a great experience.

This is our second visit. Staff is friendly. Sites are nice and level. Would be nice if the pool was heated since it gets so cool there at night, it never really warms the water. We enjoyed our visit very much.

We LOVE staying at Buffalo KOA!! We had a situation come up and needed a later check out. The staff was very understanding and helped us no problem!! Thank you everyone see you next month!!

I love this koa. That being said our site was in disrepair. Grass and dandelions so tall under the picnic table that it was unusable. No firepit or charcoal grill. Clearly they don't care about the 'economy' sites and do not put any time Into upkeep of them.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm sorry. You are right about the site. However, we do care a lot. The firepit was out for repair after a guest ran over it. We should've placed a temp pit at your site. Dandelions have been CRAZY this year. Two days spraying and we still lost that battle. We hope you give us another try.

Great location to downtown buffalo. Short drives to see some history from the area. Walking distance to some restaurants. The easiest layout of any of the KOA I stayed out so far great signs to follow but a very basic straight forward of camping sites. Camp ground was nice clean. Lots to do. Lots of shade for many of the sites �����

I’ve stayed at many KOA campgrounds and I would rate this place as one of the nicest ones, especially for the price. It was about half the price of the Billings KOA but in many ways better. I definitely recommend this place.

I was just staying at Buffalo JOA as a stop for one night. The campground is very near and clean. The sites have shade (which is nice!). The showers were very clean and the staff was helpful.

The creek sites are very nice. FHU, level gravel sites with concrete patio and maintained grass.

Buffalo is a lovely small town. The KOA is close to everything. Our 2 grandchildren loved the playground, life-sized chess game, and the adjacent creek to play in. The gem mining was fun but expensive and over very quickly. Sadly, the pool was not heated and was too cold to go in.

This place is awesome! It has to be one of cleanest, neatest, well maintained KOAs that we have ever been to. The owners and family members work hard and it shows. They meet your every need. We've stayed here almost a dozen times and love this place. Thank you for making our trip so great! We will see you again next year!

While traveling we encountered high wind and blow over warning and had to stop unexpectedly. This was a perfect place to wait out the storm and the staff and grounds were wonderful.

Nice campground. We stayed in the back section. We have a 40’ motorhome and road, I found the turns to be a bit tight and the boulders lining the roadway to be unnecessarily in the way. For such a large campground, roads could be wider and turns less tight. Otherwise. Well kept

We do our best to present a tidy park! Did you know our roads and sites are significantly larger than industry specifications? We chose to expand roads and sites to ensure big rigs are comfortable maneuvering in our new area. Boulders protect sprinklers in our grass and are not in the road way.

Y’all Wowed us! We drove in and the whole kampground looked recent construction. While buying water I asked when it was built I never expected “oh in the ‘90s with the addition across the creek being more recent”. Great job maintaining the kampground so well. We’ll definitely be returning next time we come through Buffalo!

This is by far one of the most well-maintained and pretty sites we have been in at. I told the staff several times beautiful everything was. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re traveling through to Yellowstone. The showers were like new and the water was hot and the staff gave excellent recommendations for nearby businesses to get repairs, etc.

The Buffalo KOA is always such a nice place to stay. The park and its facilities are always kept so nice and neat and our grandsons LOVE the park and the store! We normally make our next reservation before we ever leave! Thank you Peoples Family for being such great hosts!!

We were only here for one night but would stay again. This was one of the cleanest and nicest KOAs we have ever stayed. The crew was super nice and we felt very welcome. We really liked the “artwork” throughout the park.

The staff was excellent, There was an open upgraded site so they gave it to us for the night. This is not your typical KOA there is a large streams and a small stream running through the resort. It is well thought out with spacious sites in the back area on the water. plenty of patio sites with fire pit, chairs, dog pens and BBQ pits. We really loved the layout. We will be back

This location is wonderful. Easy on/off the interstate. We stopped for a night during the ‘off season' but are still pleased with the service and accommodations. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry are clean. You can take a relaxing walk along the water and even better, if you have pets, there are sites with personal dog pens (there is also a fenced dog park). We will definitely stay here again in the future.
