Paul was super helpful. Got me a spot last minute and all set up. Campground was super clean and well maintained. Probably the cleanest and most well cared for KOA I've stayed at in 10 years of RVing.

We were only there briefly, overnight. We reserved a campsite with a pet pen, but it was locked and inaccessible. Due to our late arrival and early departure, I didn't have a chance to bring it up to staff. But that was the only thing. Everything else was fine.

Love the place. Rented a cabin. Rustic and modern at the same time. Camping in the middle of town! Will be back for ice fishing! Cmon winter.

I am so grateful for this lovely KOA in Buffalo that is open year round. (And I saw the Northern Lights on this stay! Big Bonus!) Thank you for your great campground.

I was coming in late and by my lonesome after a long day of driving. The current host was very communicative, and also offered to upgrade me to a cabin from a tent site once he heard I was traveling by myself and had plans to sleep in my car in early November. This was done at no charge, which I am sure isnt the norm, but it was so sweet and I felt deeply cared for! Thank you KOA Buffalo. 10 / 10!

I liked everything except my mattress. It was super soft and the bed was wobbly and overall needed attention. I also wish there was a desk in my room. And laundry detergent in the laundry room, or a coin machine.

The heater was not very efficient so I slept in my clothes inside my sleeping bag until 4 am. I like the campground but this kind of soured my like of it.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I tested the 1500W heater. It works really well for the 150 sqft cabin. I couldn't keep it on high without getting too hot. I'm guessing you inadvertently put it on the ECO setting. In the future, call me, no matter the time, and we will make it right. We are here to serve you as our guest.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. I really appreciate the clean and spacious bathrooms, showers, and grounds. I have always felt safe at this koa. Definitely plan to be back!

Stayed just one night as we passed through but this is a very nice park. Everything was clean, level and well kept. I really loved the separate dog fenced are at several sites. Would definitely stay there again and recommend.

End of season stop. Clean, warm shower and bathrooms. Missed hot water at the sink.

Thanks for pointing this out. Of our 10 sinks, one had the hot water turned off underneath it...how does that happen??? Definitely not intentional, so thanks again for letting us know.

Convenient stop off I90, clean park. Didn’t know they had already winterized but we were good.

We try our best to inform guests about winterization. I call all guests each day to ensure they are aware of our water fill station, the bathhouse & laundromat are kept open 24/7, and we have staff available on site when needed. Our website and KOA directory both detail winterization dates.

Excellent campground, love staying here on my west travels. The grounds are immaculate, staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect location to I90 and the town of Buffalo.

We went in the off season, so it was nice and quiet! Campground was very clean, staff was friendly, pretty nice layout. Easy to get to, camp store still had plenty of stuff considering the off season. Bathrooms & showers were clean, heated and maintained regularly. We will definitely be back when in the area. Thanks for the accommodations!

We enjoyed our stay, but our site showed signs of neglect (gate askew, several piles of dog poo in grass area on arrival, fence missing paint, gazebo light out, fence panel not attached and laid against fence, leaving gap large enough for my small dog to get through). For a unique, more expensive site, I thought it to be in better shape. The staff was very nice, strong wifi, loved the trees.

You may not believe this, but I had just completed a demo of the old fence when I read your review. I guess we waited one season too long to update. I'm not sure what you meant by a loose fence panel, but it is definitely solved now. Should be a much different experience next time you stay with us.

Very beautiful. We came in October so not crowed at all. The best WiFi I’ve experienced but maybe because the park was empty. Friendly check in. Have stayed here before and would stay here again. It is a bit pricey

This is a beautiful campground. Sites are large, the place is clean, and there is easy access to both highways and the quaint town of Buffalo. We stayed in the back portion of the campground, by the stream, and it was lovely.

The staff was excellent, There was an open upgraded site so they gave it to us for the night. This is not your typical KOA there is a large streams and a small stream running through the resort. It is well thought out with spacious sites in the back area on the water. plenty of patio sites with fire pit, chairs, dog pens and BBQ pits. We really loved the layout. We will be back

This location is wonderful. Easy on/off the interstate. We stopped for a night during the ‘off season' but are still pleased with the service and accommodations. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry are clean. You can take a relaxing walk along the water and even better, if you have pets, there are sites with personal dog pens (there is also a fenced dog park). We will definitely stay here again in the future.
