This campground tops our favorite list! Well planned park layout, well kept up. Service was top notch. Sites were large and long with well kept grassy areas. By far our dogs favorite. Loved the enclosed dog run with nice blend of rocks and greenery and trees, and the creek side walk with beach and fishing was beautiful and accessible. Great stay!

We stayed three nights at a deluxe patio creekside site. The view was worth the splurge and we would stay there again.

I enjoyed our stay at this KOA so much! It felt safe, the bathrooms, showers, and laundry room were clean! Service was great! It’s very child friendly with the pool, playground and giant outdoor chess. If I come back through I’d definitely stay again!

One of the nicest KOAs we've visited. Beautiful surroundings. Very accommodating front office. Upgraded us to a patio pull-through no problem. Would have given it a 5 star, but we were located away from the pool and had to drive to shower and swim. Our camper toilet went out and staff would't give a passcode to the tent facilities. Shower was cold next morning, had to switch after undressing.

Thank you for the feedback. We have some new trainees at the frontdesk that are still learning when and how to be flexible. Normally, we would be glad to let you use the tenter bathhouse given your situation. We would enjoy another opportunity to exceed your expectations.

Just pulled in for a quick overnight stay so really didn't check out all it might have had to offer. Pleasant check in staff recommended hot springs in Thermopolis. We ended up going to hot springs and it was great. Thanks. Easy in, level site, easy out.

We was staying only 1 night , our plan was to stay 2 nights. Very clean and quiet, we have been direct on the creek i think it was the spot 93. We Loved the concrete porch with gas BBQ and a smoke free fire pit. We will definitely come again and stay at least 3 nights

The 2 younger gals at the front desk were very polight, informative and helpful. (Wish i had gotten names). Over all, this KOA is one of the nicest, quietest, cleanest KOA parks i have stayed in. I would most definately stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised by this park. It was one of the nicest KOA’s we’ve been to. Usually Journey’s are best described as stopovers, but the Buffalo KOA is more like a destination KOA. The park was well maintained and beautifully landscaped. I would definitely recommend this KOA if you are traveling in the area.

Very enjoyable stay, friendly staff, well kept grounds. Restrooms and shower facilities were immaculate. The only negative, which is not indicative of the facility, was with the posted 5 mph within the camping areas, there were several youth 'racing' through the campground on E-mini motorcycles each day. As a frequent KOA patron all across the US, I would recommend this one to anyone.

The staff was top notch, always friendly and helpful. The site with the dog run and patio next to the motorhome was a blessing for our active pup he was able to run free and watch the people going by in front while having privacy on the other 3 sides. They had larger rocks along the 3 sides so he wouldn’t try to dig along the fence. He rated it 5 STARS.

This is our second visit. Staff is friendly. Sites are nice and level. Would be nice if the pool was heated since it gets so cool there at night, it never really warms the water. We enjoyed our visit very much.

We LOVE staying at Buffalo KOA!! We had a situation come up and needed a later check out. The staff was very understanding and helped us no problem!! Thank you everyone see you next month!!

I love this koa. That being said our site was in disrepair. Grass and dandelions so tall under the picnic table that it was unusable. No firepit or charcoal grill. Clearly they don't care about the 'economy' sites and do not put any time Into upkeep of them.

I'm sorry. You are right about the site. However, we do care a lot. The firepit was out for repair after a guest ran over it. We should've placed a temp pit at your site. Dandelions have been CRAZY this year. Two days spraying and we still lost that battle. We hope you give us another try.

Tent site # 4 is right in front of the creek. It was perfect for reading, relaxing and falling asleep to. I liked how small the property was along with the new and updated facilities.

Great location to downtown buffalo. Short drives to see some history from the area. Walking distance to some restaurants. The easiest layout of any of the KOA I stayed out so far great signs to follow but a very basic straight forward of camping sites. Camp ground was nice clean. Lots to do. Lots of shade for many of the sites �����

I’ve stayed at many KOA campgrounds and I would rate this place as one of the nicest ones, especially for the price. It was about half the price of the Billings KOA but in many ways better. I definitely recommend this place.

I was just staying at Buffalo JOA as a stop for one night. The campground is very near and clean. The sites have shade (which is nice!). The showers were very clean and the staff was helpful.

The creek sites are very nice. FHU, level gravel sites with concrete patio and maintained grass.

Buffalo is a lovely small town. The KOA is close to everything. Our 2 grandchildren loved the playground, life-sized chess game, and the adjacent creek to play in. The gem mining was fun but expensive and over very quickly. Sadly, the pool was not heated and was too cold to go in.

This place is awesome! It has to be one of cleanest, neatest, well maintained KOAs that we have ever been to. The owners and family members work hard and it shows. They meet your every need. We've stayed here almost a dozen times and love this place. Thank you for making our trip so great! We will see you again next year!

While traveling we encountered high wind and blow over warning and had to stop unexpectedly. This was a perfect place to wait out the storm and the staff and grounds were wonderful.

We stayed here 1 night coming from north cascades, mount ranier and Olympic national parks. Easy access from 90. Nice pull through lots. Pool area and showers were spotless. Staff was friendly. Nice gift shop. Didn't have time to try the trout streams. I'll stay here again when passing thru.

Great location, nice camp site and RV parking. First time here, very pleased and we will stay again. Camp staff stays in touch, messages an informative messages. Very nice gift shop with Wyoming goods, as well as yummy Ice-cream to buy for a sweet treat. I was impressed with the camp sites next to a creek and cement patio slabs and a firepit to enjoy. I did notice the private dog pens at a few sites that are avialable for those who have dogs. Nice swimming pool. Very clean and well kept campground. ~

We enjoyed our one-night stay here in July! The entire property is clean and well cared for. Hook ups at the sites are in good condition, decent amount of space between sites with grass and picnic tables. Very friendly staff at check in. We will stay again when traveling through the area. Highly recommend!
