This is a beautiful campground!! The hosts were very friendly and helpful when we needed some help with a minor repair. We’re highly recommend staying here!!

This campground is beautiful and easy to get to. We stayed overnight and did some laundry. The facilities were spotless and the staff friendly and helpful. We walked down to have dinner at the Cattle Guard restaurant and enjoyed a delicious dinner. We would definitely come back to this campground and explore the area if we get a chance.

Very friendly. Nice clean laundry. Dog park a little small and gravelly but very clean. Nice proximity to town and we walked to the Cattleguard for an amazing dinner.

Beautiful grounds with a Creek running right next to my campsite… Just perfect! The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and all areas of the campground were clean and welcoming.

Everything was as described and the grounds were beautifully maintained. Pride of ownership was very clear here.

We love the completely enclosed campsite that’s offered here! Our relaxation with our 4 dogs was incredible! Being able to sit and enjoy our evening fire with our furkids free roaming within the space was excellent. The site has a wonderful pull through, big enough for our 45 ft. Motorhome towing our Jeep. This is a great concept, I hope more KOA’s will adopt this wonderful idea!

Not only is this place spotless it has very friendly owners and managers. Paul went out of his way to help us with an electrical problem in our van. We really enjoyed the clean and efficient laundry area as well. Thanks for having us.

We stayed 4 nights in the new section. Wide spaces and grass and path along creek Great staff recommendations added to our sites to visit.

Nice campground with level sites. Very pleasant staff. Very historic town (Longmire was filmed there) with good variety of quaint stores. Took a ride to Crazy Woman Canyon. Worth the drive!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The average tent site price across all KOAs in 2023 is $54. Ours was $56. The vast, vast majority of the other KOAs don't have a creek right beside their tent sites, so I'm comfortable charging $2 more than average.

The Owners and staff were wonderful very helpful, extra friendly and so accommodating! The KOA is completely amazing very well maintained and beautifully manicured grounds, the sites were large and just wonderful, the whole experience was amazing!

Wow! What a great KOA!! We truly enjoyed the site, the stream, the cleanliness, the layout! Buffalo has become my very favorite KOA! Keep up the great work! We will definitely return and hope Site 55 is available 👍🏻🇺🇸

Stayed here on night early March when it was still closed for the season. We called and they were accommodating. Paid via the dropbox in the main office. Laundry and bath facilities were open. We had to use the water fill station due to sub freezing temps but that is expected this time of year- no water at the sites. We were very appreciative to have a place with power and water to stay overnight.

We became stranded due to car trouble, in December! We called and they called us back immediately and had us a cabin in just a few minutes. We ended up staying 2 nights. The restrooms and showers were clean and water temperature perfect! Such a beautiful area and the residents of Buffalo are so nice!!
