One of the best campgrounds we are stayed in. And we have been all over the USA and Canada! Immaculately maintained, beautiful back-in site along the creek. No where else did we have a Solo Stove and propane grill provided along with a spacious site. The staff is extremely nice and caring. It was difficult to leave this place. We will definitely return again.

called two days prior to reservation date asked for deluxe site with patio and gas grill and was told none were available. there were two sites within 5 sites of me that were untouched that nite. also had to sign a waiver that if i put down a patio rug or parked a wheel on the grass they would charge my cc $25. what a crock of BS not to mention the grass hadnt been cut in weeks not a great place

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We didn't like overgrown grass either. 20 days straight of rain will do that, as we told guests at check-in. Even overgrown, rugs kill grass. As for the patio site, do you believe we intentionally didn't upsell to your request? No-shows and cancellations happen often. Foul language is uncalled for.

This is one of best KOA's I've stayed at. It's beautiful with lots of trees, green grass, a creek and view of the Big Horn Mountains. It's a family run operation and everyone has been really great to work with. The location is perfect. It's easy to access from the interstate, and a fabulous spot to go exploring the many interesting activities and sightseeing opportunities. I highly recommend!

Most amazing experience and people ever! We had stopped in Buffalo for just an overnight stop. Unfortunately, on our way out of town our truck broke down. When I called to see if they had an open spot, they got us in immediately. They held the spot until we got things with figured out and even drove my husband to the nearest city! A great place to stay and amazing people who care for it!

This was our 8th year staying at your KOA. It’s always great, & clean. All employees are very friendly & polite. Just wish you could have ordered less rain and more sun this year!�� Thank you for the fun stay.

Fabulous! Wish we had booked a longer stay. LOVED the campground. Beautifully laid out, extremely well kept! All staff were welcoming and friendly. Location and trail along the creek/river was peaceful and a nice respite.

My stay was not what I expected from a KOA. When I checked in they would not accept my American Express for payment and my wife had to use her card. The grass was not mowed in the campground and very unkempt. The showers were either burning hot with no control or they were totally cold. I reported it to the front desk and her response was “I will telll my Dad”. It was a good location.

I am sorry your stay wasn't what you hoped for. We've had daily rain for twenty days- while beautiful, makes it impossible to mow! As for my dad, well.. he is superman around here- He replaced a faulty balancing unit in your shower. I sure hope you give us another shot in the future. Safe travels!

We only stayed overnight, but the campground was conveniently located to the interstate though not right on it, the grounds were easy to navigate, the hook ups worked well and the staff was helpful.

Wow! What a great KOA!! We truly enjoyed the site, the stream, the cleanliness, the layout! Buffalo has become my very favorite KOA! Keep up the great work! We will definitely return and hope Site 55 is available 👍🏻🇺🇸

Stayed here on night early March when it was still closed for the season. We called and they were accommodating. Paid via the dropbox in the main office. Laundry and bath facilities were open. We had to use the water fill station due to sub freezing temps but that is expected this time of year- no water at the sites. We were very appreciative to have a place with power and water to stay overnight.
