Facilities were dated. Showers were very small. You need a garage door opener to go in the front gate. We did set up in wrong site but host did rearrange our site so we didn’t have to move.

Very clean campground, nice hosts. Things to keep the kids entertained. This is one of the more expensive campgrounds in the area that is not on the water. I would recommend an upgrade in the Wifi, they advertised streaming wifi but it fell a little short even for just web searches and we were close to the source. Wifi is a common issue these days for campgrounds especially when no cell service

We stayed in the Geo dome and loved it. We have been telling friends how great it is and that we must go back.

Being in site #1 on the outside of the security gate was fine because we were away from the campground every day. But, had we been planning on using the amenities or meeting other campers, it wouldn’t have worked for us. This was one of the smaller Holiday campgrounds we’ve stayed at. Site #1 was nicely wooded and cozy.

We are glad you enjoyed your site. As you said we are a smaller campground which is very easy to walk around. The store, pool, bathhouse and campers are literally 250 feet away. Not sure what you're trying to say as you said you did not want to use the amenities or meet other campers. Happy camping!

Quiet which is the way we like it because there's just the two of us. We do our own thing. No problems and they were able to accommodate us by letting us stay another day on our same site. Thanks again!

Possibly one of the nicest group of people I've come to know. My stay was nothing short of exquisite and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to come and relax. My boys loved the tree house, the pool, and the playground! Thanks again for showing us such a great time!

Everything was great except the wifi -- we needed to create hotspots in order to do just about anything online. Otherwise, a very pleasant campground and stay.

When checking in,I told the lady my daughter was visiting the next day w/ her 6 kids age 2, 3, 4, 7 and two age 9 and her husband. I asked how much that would cost. She told me $10 - she wouldn't charge for the kids. The next day I went to give license plate number, there was a different lady at register. She told me $40. She said she would not honor price I was previously told.

1st the lady that said 10 misspoke. 6 people per site max! How you thought you could invite 6 kids and two adults on top of who you already had on site for ten bucks should have raised a red flag. You paid for your site, not a place to invite a crowd! Due to the review we should have just said no

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground was clean and our site was fantastic, big and level. When we ran into some issues with our truck and it looked like we might not be able to leave as planned, the manager was very supportive and helpful. We truly appreciated that. Thank you again!

We loved our campground that backed right up to the woods and had perfect maintained full hook up sites for RVs as well as unique cabins and other options for campers. The store on site offered wonderful shopping and all the common items campers might need for food, snacks, personal greening items, etc. Friendly staff that delivered firewood right to our site and routinely hauled away our trash.

We enjoyed our 6-day stay very much. We had an issue with the breaker in the power pedestal the first day. I informed David about it, he was over within minutes to check it out and swapped out the breaker within half an hour. The soft serve ice cream was awesome as well.

We stayed in the Treehouse and it was great. The included sheets and towels and many kitchen items were very helpful on our trip. As were the outdoor games. Thanks! The playground was a hit with our son, and the pictures online of the cabin and playground were current which we appreciate. There were some sewage smells in the park, but overall it was nice. We had a good stay.

We (family of 4 plus 2 dogs) loved our week-long stay at this quiet and well-maintained campground. The family who own and operate the campground are warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The location is great - within manageable driving distance of so many beautiful towns. The Kamp K9 area is small but there is a dog park a short distance away. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful campground and well maintained! All the staff were so nice and helpful. Our back in patio site was very quiet and perfect for our 40ft fifth wheel.

Showers under par, old, small. Pool too cold to enjoy, should be heated a little bit. Not hard to maintain once warmed to refreshing temp from polar plunge. Super short season to enjoy.

My family and I just returned from a week stay. The staff and everyone we met were very friendly and accommodating, both before and during our stay. It's a great launch point for Acadia and to visit the Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Ft. Knox sites. Facilities are dated but it's clear the owners are making positive improvements. I suggest you check your website offerings, no horseshoe pits. :-(

The tree house was clean and had a lot of space inside and outside and had all the utensils and linens which was so nice and convenient. We loved the accommodations however… it felt like the campground was half closed nothing was fully opened. The website was very misleading saying horseshoes and nightly entertainment which neither existed, some adult activities would be nice. No train ride eith

The campground was super nice. The staff went above your expectation to make sure your stay was comfortable. I would recommend this campground. We stayed in the glamping tent which was very comfortable and very nicely decorated.

This KOA is one of the best we have ever stayed at! David & his wife Marlene are wonderful People and treated us like family! We met some of their family members as well & all of them made us feel at home. One morning we had homemade pancakes, cooked by David. Blueberry or Chocolate chip. Served with homemade maple syrup that was made by a family member. The bath houses were clean & well stocked. The campsites were easy to access. Definitely a great place to camp!

They are super friendly and helpful. Go above and beyond to help. A little welcome pack was given to us as well. 1 st we received a welcome pack from a campground. Nice clean grounds and dog park.
