Owners were awesome My designated site was a bit small and almost impossible to back into. So they found us another site a pull through which worked out great for us

The staff was super kind and friendly nature. Stay was awesome. They served us warm, fresh chocolate chip cookies, they gave us a fun KOA reusable sack along with two waters. The restrooms were clean, and the showers were hot and delightful.

This was the smallest campground we have stayed in but the best as far as hospitality. We like to see as much of an area as possible when we travel and everyone was helpful and indulged all our goofy questions. Campground was clean as well as the laundry room and the snack shack food and ice cream were good. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for having us!

Exceptional stay. Since last year, improvements have been made to the cabins and the grounds. The staff is very friendly. The bathrooms and showers were always clean. No complaints only compliments

I would like to say we had a most pleasurable time at bucksport. The staff are so helpful. I had to take my daughter to the hospital and I called the camp ground to ask for more blankets and they were so kind as to leave them out for us. This is a wonderful place to stay.

Bugs and spiders in the room/bed. Too far to the toilets in the middle of the night. Screen door wouldn’t shut. Otherwise as described in the listing.

The stay was great as always, food was excellent, kids enjoyed the pool and the train ride, and the cabins were clean. The family is already planning a stay for next year!! The staff is excellent!!

My husband and I love the Bucksport/fort Knox KOA. We are disappointed that dogs are no longer welcome in the basic cabins. We live a quite a distance away to bring our camper just so we can bring our dog. Our thoughts are that you are punishing everyone for the actions of a few. You know our dog hasn't been any trouble and you hardly know she is there. Why can't you grandfather in the dogs that

Clean, quiet campground close to Acadia National Park as well as restaurants in Bucksport. Definitely would stay again when visiting the area.

We had a wonderful time. We got a courtesy call before and after our stay and the owners were very friendly and kind. We stayed in a cabin, which was very clean and well-maintained. We wish we would have stayed longer!!

This campground was very neat, well kept with wonderful amenities. I would highly recommend for anyone traveling in the area. Great restaurant down the road, we bought steamers and lobster and enjoyed at our campsite.

Nice clean site, small laundry(2 W/2D) but, clean and reasonable priced. Looked like a nice snack shack with a large menu. Unfortunately was not open the week we stayed??

We are glad you enjoyed the campground. We actually have two laundry rooms for guests to use. And the Snack shack is open till 7:00 pm every day so please stop in if in the area again!

This is the second time staying at this campground. It has had many good changes in the last 2 years. I was so excited to see all the new tent and campsites being built. Sites are well kept and so is the campground. Very quiet and lots to do in the surrounding area. I have already booked for next year!! Can't wait to go back.

If I could award more than 10 points I would. Good directions and signage. Clean and updated facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of activities. Other campers and dogs happy too. Well stocked store. I plan to return.

Problem with the water. A boil water advisory with no information about the 6 tests performed. Noisy mower for hours . However the deluxe cabin was great.

We did inform you about the water notice and offered you water to use. Also explained that you could shower just couldn't drink the water from faucet. You are welcome that we are taking every precaution to keep our campers safe. Mowing is how we keep our park so beautiful. Happy Camping!

Good location. Beautiful & gated secure campsite. Clean bathroom with music playing when the light's turned on. Pool opened late the day we checked out. Friendly community & impressive welcome bag.

The managers/owners were extremely helpful, very accommodating. Space was very clean. My grandchildren loved the playground area and the pool. A couple of drawbacks: water was contaminated and therefore not available for drinking, cooking. This is expected to be addressed shortly. Website indicates cable availability but there is not. On the whole, a very pleasant stay.

Campgrounds were great. Clean well kept. Actually gave us a welcoming gift when we checked in which is unheard of. Gentleman that parked us extremely helpful. They should have a 10but only given 1-5 to choose from.

One of the best KOA's I have been to. Beautiful campground, friendly hosts, incredibly well maintained. We stayed in the glamping tent and it was an awesome experience. Very nice, comfortable, and fun; the experience of tent camping with none of the challenges. Comfortable beds, private bathroom, refrigerator, propane grill, etc. The campground is in a great location relative to bar harbor and Acadia National park as well as other things to do in the area. I would highly recommend this KOA for anyone wanting to go camping in Maine. Thanks David and Marlene!!

Camped there in May/June. I cannot say enough about Marlene and David, the people who run the campground. They go out of their way to make sure your camping experience is pleasant. Imagine my delight over the Little train they pull around the grounds for kids and even some adults to ride. This place is so well maintained as well as having such a wonderful couple as your hosts.i was there with David Coomer in a beautiful little lot in the back and the long patio with the perfectly even site was a joy.
