Always a good time, although we were close to dumpster and it was very stinky. I would probably not stay in that area again only due to the dumpster.

The grounds were very tidy. Sites were quiet. The staff worked hard. Nice pool. A few very nice cabins. Tent sites were well set up. Bathrooms were very clean. It a nice campground with lots to do around the area.

Stayed with friends who had RV. We stayed in deluxe cabin which was very nice. Only one fun thing … is bunk is very hard�ϜWe had a very nice stay. Second time visiting.

This is a great KOA with the nicest owners and staff. We had a long pull through site for big rigs which was more than spacious. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. Was thinking about 4 stars but because of the friendly staff and clean washrooms I will 5 star it. 2 issues bad water, told the day we arrived. Got 2 bottles of water each day did not even cover morning coffee. Huge issue there is only one way in. If you have set up already and are out for the day, upon return you could be stuck behind trailers registering, long wait!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We would have gladly given you more water to accommodate. Water issue is fixed now with new system. We would also love to be able to have another entrance but these parks were built 50 years ago and if we added another entrance we would lose sites. Thank you for being patient. happy camping.

Rules are in place to keep you and the rest of our guests safe. When you break them we let you know. I guess you just think breaking rules is acceptable. Safety is our top concern. And you were not tolerated. Happy camping!!!!

We had such a wonderful stay and absolutely loved staying in the Treehouse! Everything we would need was there and it was very clean. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful week!!!

Stayed one night on our journey home. VERY friendly staff. Loved the welcome bag of goodies given at check in and the pre check in phone call to see if we needed anything. Kids enjoyed the pool and play area. It was the best deluxe patio pull through we have ever booked. Our whole family said it was the best way to end our vacation.

On our arrival we were seen to by a very friendly young woman. She explained us everything very well. The washroom had a radio come on as I turned on the light. I really liked that. It was our first experience in a cabin and I am certain it will not be the last

We had to boil our water due to something about rainfall. Its a pretty tight campground coming in, also I felt bad about my neighbor who was having breakfast as I was closing down my septic. Just a little close. Other than that staff very friendly and a nice location.

Great location for our site seeing. Campground was clean and pull thru spots were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. Not to far from Island Explore shuttle to Acadia

We loved our stay! We stayed in the glamping tent and it was pristinely clean, felt brand new, smelled of fresh cut pine. Had everything we need and was quite spacious for a family of 4. The staff there was super helpful and we felt very welcomed by them. The kids playground and jump pad were a win with my kids and this experience totally nailed it for a win for my family to camp again!

The staff was very friendly and answered questions about the area. The campground was well kept with bathrooms that were clean with lots of hot water. The down side, entrance road had potholes and our site was small. Overall we felt safe at this campground.

Thanks for staying with us. I would recommend you upgrade to a more suitable site type if in the area again. When you made your reservation online you chose our cheapest site on park. Let us know what your needs are and we can accommodate. The pothole is being repaved in September.

Fantastic! I've never received a pre-arrival phone call prior to this. This office staff is warm and welcoming, they even had our names on the board outside welcoming us. Seth is fantastic. He was extremely helpful getting us properly parked. 2 recommendations.. Please repair the entrance road pot holes, and helpful if the security gate remote control would open the gate for the lower camp

We stayed in the treehouse for a week. The campground was quiet, relaxing and very kids friendly. We had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer, we will be back again next summer for sure.

Staff was great. Cabin was crowded with a queen bed and sleeper sofa. Walk from our cabin was dark at night. Adding motion sensor lights along the way would help.

Thank you for your feedback on the lights, I will have my husband look into that! Our camping cabins are small and built for cozy camping for 2 adults. We could have upgraded you to one of our Deluxe which are bigger if you had mentioned that you needed more room. Happy Camping1

Campgrounds were great. Clean well kept. Actually gave us a welcoming gift when we checked in which is unheard of. Gentleman that parked us extremely helpful. They should have a 10but only given 1-5 to choose from.

One of the best KOA's I have been to. Beautiful campground, friendly hosts, incredibly well maintained. We stayed in the glamping tent and it was an awesome experience. Very nice, comfortable, and fun; the experience of tent camping with none of the challenges. Comfortable beds, private bathroom, refrigerator, propane grill, etc. The campground is in a great location relative to bar harbor and Acadia National park as well as other things to do in the area. I would highly recommend this KOA for anyone wanting to go camping in Maine. Thanks David and Marlene!!

Camped there in May/June. I cannot say enough about Marlene and David, the people who run the campground. They go out of their way to make sure your camping experience is pleasant. Imagine my delight over the Little train they pull around the grounds for kids and even some adults to ride. This place is so well maintained as well as having such a wonderful couple as your hosts.i was there with David Coomer in a beautiful little lot in the back and the long patio with the perfectly even site was a joy.
