Our complete stay was exceptional! As we approached the gate, my son's excitement grew when he saw the pool and gem-finding site. We were greeted by a welcome home sign and the sweetest people, everything was well explained, they even walked us to our site. We stayed in the glamping tent, and it was perfect. The campground was safe and fun; owners and staff went over and beyond throughout our stay

Excellent communication before arrival, friendly informative greeting upon arrival. I could tell Marlene really wanted my stay to be informed, and with me feeling welcome here.

We had a great weekend. Loved our site. Kids enjoyed the pool and playground area. Bathrooms were clean and the outside sink was helpful to have use of. Marlene was willing to correspond with us prior to our stay, answered all of our questions, and we were grateful for her help. We will certainly be back in the future!

The staff is great. The kids had a blast with the playground, pool, jump pad and other activities.

Nice small campground convenient to the bar harbor area. Pricing is good. Campground roads are a little steep in places but the amenities are great.

Very friendly and quiet campground. Only complaint is the firewood was wet and took a while to get started.

Very welcoming owners and staff. We appreciated our welcome gift of cookies and water. Facilities were clean (bathroom, laundry, and pool). Camp sites were level and well maintained. Having a couple shrubs in a landscape area really made it feel like home. Nice touch!

We really loved this KOA, so many nice touches to each site, the owners genuinely care about your experience there. Pool and bathrooms are very clean, great snack bar, security gates and an overall comfortable atmosphere.

The owners were welcoming and very informative about our stay! We loved the amenities and cleanliness and how well kept everything was. They offered an amazing propane refill service and it was cheaper (and easier) than going to a propane station. The snack shack served delicious pretzels (and other foods we didn’t get a chance to try). It was the best KOA we’ve ever stayed at!

Very nice snack shop and pool The family that owns this KOA are very friendly and helpful . Would recommend a stay here. Close to Acadia National Park lots to do and see .

Loved the Deluxe Patio Site! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful and take great pride in their facility. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The entire staff/owners were very friendly and outgoing. Just made you feel at home and comfortable. The premium site was large, well equipped with nice furniture and fire ring. Enjoyed my reading time in the hanging swing at our site.

From the moment we arrived to the second we left. The owners couldn’t do enough. They are very friendly and willing to do above and beyond. The campground was the best that we had ever been too, Marlene and David are the nicest people along with the rest of staff. We differently will return to the campground again. Two Happy Camper’s

Bucksport/Fort Knox KOA is our favorite campground in Maine. Owners on site.Staff is pleasant and helpful. Continuously making improvements and updates.Responsive to needs. We absolutely will stay again if in the area.

Just the right size park, the family is out going loving fun people. They will bring you camp wood to your site, they keep the bathhouse and pool clean. The new glamming tent.. adorable… and the new little bathhouse that was just installed. Perfection…so convenient for the tenters! Just a wonderful place to spend a week, located between rockland and Arcadia.

Owners and.staff are welcoming and are constantly making improvements to an already very nice facility. Location is perfect for exploring Maine's gorgeous mid-coast.

Great family run campground. We had a nice stay, the staff is was friendly and helpful. They have a nice food shack with ice cream and pizza ( the pizza was very good ). Nice size pool.

XCelnt' customer service! We loved the location as it relates to Acadia and Easternmost Point (A little farther away, but perfect for a nice ride on the Harley!) All facilities were clean, well marked, and conveniently laid out. Only small issue was the dryness of the camp wood. Our neighbors had a difficult time lighting their fire (I kind of enjoyed watching them struggle). I thought it was fine

This KOA is one of the best we have ever stayed at! David & his wife Marlene are wonderful People and treated us like family! We met some of their family members as well & all of them made us feel at home. One morning we had homemade pancakes, cooked by David. Blueberry or Chocolate chip. Served with homemade maple syrup that was made by a family member. The bath houses were clean & well stocked. The campsites were easy to access. Definitely a great place to camp!

They are super friendly and helpful. Go above and beyond to help. A little welcome pack was given to us as well. 1 st we received a welcome pack from a campground. Nice clean grounds and dog park.
