Very pleased that I chose to stay at the KOA journey in Bismark. Ben Vollen greeted me at the front desk with a smile and was very welcoming. The check in process was easy. Ben showed me where my site was and explained how to get to it. Ben helped me in the office for a few purchases. The smile and enthusiasm to help was refreshing.

Booked pull thru patio site Motorhome towing. Site was so unlevel my back wheels lifted off the ground. They did move us to a backing patio site but had to disconnect. They need to level sites or don’t book Motorhome towing un unlevel sites.

Very nice people, clean, and well maintained older KOA. The medium size gravel is good on a large site. Leveling our very fussy trailer took a few extra minutes, but not a big deal. Great location close to the Capitol.

Very nice, clean campground. We also had some issues with our rv and the staff was awesome with helping us find someone to help repair it. Highly recommend this KOA!

Weeds everywhere. Looked unkempt. No dog bags in pen. No towels in bathroom. No rug in shower. Extremely low flow in shower. TJ did help my husband with the sewer cap which was greatly appreciated.

I only stayed one night, so I was unable to experience everything the camp had to offer. Tent site was well maintained. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff were awesome.

Didn't make a reservation ahead of time but was treated as if I had. Great facility. Wish that I could have stayed longer but was just traveling through. I'll remember this campground for future stays.

The stay was very expensive. The wi-fi was terrible. The grounds were nice and clean and our spot was good. But when you pay that much per night, we expect the little things, like wi-fi to be up to par.

We stay at Bismarck KOA while we are in town for medical appointments, business or just a weekend getaway. Employees are always friendly and helpful. There is some noise from nearby traffic, but where isn't there noise nowadays... We love Bismarck KOA and wish them great success!

Nice campground and well maintained. Laundry could use some updating as dryer screens in the back are getting rusty. Felt dirty. Could t get quarters because no one was in the office. Sites are fine when you are in them but interior roads are a bit narrow. We had to go left when we went to leave because there was a truck and travel trailer in the row across from us so we couldn’t make the turn

The stay was good, Staff was welcoming. Only problem we had was the hookup for sewer and water were very far apart which led to us needing to purchase an additional water hose. Overall, though the grounds were clean and "pads" maintained and depending on where your spot is you could have a far amount of shade and cover. Bathrooms and shower houses were clean as well. 4.5 stars

This is a great KOA. Besides the convenient location off the highway, it is excellently maintained. The bathrooms and showers are spotless, and almost every site has a maintained patch of real grass, that is cared for. Shout out to Kyle in the office for his helpfulness, kindness, and efficiency. We will always stay here as we travel through Bismarck. We came for one night and stayed three! Bravo!

A very nice KOA. Very friendly staff and well maintained facilities. Taking off 1 point because quiet hours are not enforced. We were kept awake until 1:30 AM because with Very loud music which started at 9:30. Just 1 night but at $75 a night it was disappointing.

Very clean facility. A bit close to the highway. Tried to do laundry in the AM. Laundry room was perfect, clean with several machines. There was no provision for getting quarters. The office was closed. No office hours were posted at the door. They don't open until 11 or 12. Emergency phone number was just an answering service. There should be a change machine or ability to use credit cards.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our hours are 10 am to 7 pm until Memorial Day then 9am to 9 pm, waiting on time slots from Koa for the door hour. Sorry for any inconvenience. We will try to do better

Nice campsite, we thought everything would be professional considering the high price. We planned to stay 6 months and secured a spot in Aug for the end of October. Price jumped to 1,075$. Had power outages in negative temperatures 2-4 times a week. Damaging our property. They never reimbursed us for the hotel fees and damages. Had to leave early due to unprofessional service and conditions.

The office was not open at 9 in the morning to answer questions about laundromat. I went to one off site. The code on the bathroom caused delay as I had to walk back to campsite to retrieve the code.
