Not a pleasant experience! Needed assistance with special circumstances beyond our control and the help offered by Barb and Margaret was not accommodating!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

this is the rest of this story. She got offered a last-minute trip to Los Angeles after she made reservations with us months ago, waited until the day of to cancel, and wanted her one-night deposit back. If she had canceled earlier, it would have been only a 20.00 fee. KOA makes those rules.

Friendly staff and amazing ice cream treats! Though it was crazy hot during our stay, we appreciated the AC in the laundry room while doing a couple of loads and the shade our site provided! It was a great overnight and reset on our travels.

I had a enjoyable visit. The amenities (pool, horseshoes, etc.) were nice even though I didn't get a chance to use those. I was pleased that the bathrooms were always clean.

Only stayed overnight for a quick sleep while on a long drive heading back from a big trip out west. showed up after hours and our packet was waiting for us so we knew what site was ours. Left before the store opened. Did not get to check out the campground amenities, but our site was a good size and saw a beautiful sunrise when we left early in the morning to continue our long drive back home.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Park is very clean. Central location is very convenient to visit the sites in Bismarck.

The park is very well kept up. All staff that we encountered was very friendly and asked if we needed anything don't hesitate to ask. Loved the pool and play areas. Bathrooms were very clean and spacious. Our area with table and fire pit was awesome. Loved this KOA and would definitely recommend it to anyone for a week or even just a night stay.

Just wanted to say that when we checked in the rude attitude of the office towards a customer of your camp grounds. Was to be shown the way to the rv parkng spot and had to use the map to find it after the golf cart took off and left us on the way. Our spot was on the edge of the park and we watched the apartment people coming over into the rv park. We did not feel safe.

We just love this campground! We stay here at least twice a summer while visiting family. Great staff, friendly and always work to make our stay enjoyable. Lots to do - great pool, miniature golf, great play area for kids. Would highly recommend!!

We love the KOA campgrounds! We like how consistent they are from campground to campground. The process is so organized, easy, and people are always so friendly!! Most importantly -- the property is so clean! Nice Job! We recommended to family that are actually camping in a few weeks!! :-)

Great place to stay,second time for us. Please don’t say that you have WiFi when it is as bad as it is. Kept getting knocked off, frustrating. Other than that it is a great place to stay.

We spent two nights in a very shady site. The site was clean and the owner was very nice. I would have like to seen the fire pit in a different location due to our slide layout. Overall very nice stay and Bismark was a nice city as well.

We had a very long pull through (85’) level, gravel site. Campground was very quiet even though it’s next to a divided highway. Lots of kids activities and a nice dog park. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Everything about the Bismarck KOA was far above most campgrounds. Beautifully and efficiently arranged landscaping, clean and reasonably spacious sites.

We stayed one night, on july 5th. The campground was very full due to the holiday weekend. In spite of that, the restrooms were clean and we had a very pleasant stay

The campground has easy access to and from I-94 as well as US-83 and there are nearby gas stations and a grocery store.. Site 114 was an excellent site with a nice patio and nice trees for shade. The grandkids enjoyed the pool and pedal carts.

Great location for visiting Bismarck and Mandan. We did not have use of another vehicle so we used Lyft and Uber to get around with ease and no problems. Great shaded pitch site.

.Very nice park! Most sites are treed providing shade. Facility has a neat and orderly appearance. Many nice family amenities in this Journey level campground. The staff is very accommodating. They handled my request to stay an extra day during an almost sold out holiday weekend without the need to move. I was very grateful for their flexibility.

This KOA Journey had what you would expect, however, when the 2026 KOA book has it listed with "upgraded WiFi, I didn't understand why it would only connect with no internet. We weren't that far from the office building. I wish I could give this spot 5 stars.

Super friendly staff, very clean and a great place to stay. A little traffic noise but that is pretty normal for KOA's close to highways. Will stay again!
