The stay was great. We were able to accomplish our trip goals. The only thing of concern is the site is apparently under renovations which did not detail on the web site. It indicated that there was a pool but it was not available and maps show a miniature golf which was nowhere to be found. The rest room and shower facility were great. Looked like recently renovated.

Under reconstruction progress.. no pool. Poor dead trees. Not the campgrounds fault.. tight spots. Very friendly staff! :)

Too many dogs OFF LEASH. Their dog might be fine off leash, but my dog is very reactive to dogs off leash.

The lady in the office was super nice and really accommodating. Sadly, the sticker bushes and goat heads were horrible. I don't anticipate returning to the area.

I had to ask the guy next to me to move his truck so I pull out. The spots are to short and there were parking there trucks in the roads and was very hard to get in and out. I complained to one of the workers and they said that the owner didn’t care. I will not go back

The stay was uneventful. They do have cable but the spaces are small and the landscaping poor.

Great place to stay. Small sites but a very quaint place. Only issue was many of the washers and dryers were not working. I know they are upgrading the playground...looked great, and a new pool. Should be a great place when all said and done. Will be back!

We were only here overnight. the sites are close to each other. The train horns went all the time. Happy I had packed ear plugs. This KOA is not fancy just a stop over.

They were very helpful and update me on how to get my own campsite for my RV when we arrive after the hours due to flat tire we had on the way there.

We were disappointed to see there was no pool or hot tub, even though they website said there would be one. The host soad it had been three YEARS that they didn’t have a pool. This should have been noted in the description. The bathrooms were clean, but tricky to get into. Only if we stalls and two showers which seemed not much for the number of campsites.

Nice, clean park. Campers seemed courteous as was the staff. My cable didn't work but that might be the new trailer so.. Overall satisfied and would consider coming back a 3rd time

Campsites are at weird angles and very close together. The people next to us were confused about which picnic table was assigned to which campsite. Ok for a one night stay as travelling but not much reason to stay longer.

Great people. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. I can't give it more than 3stars though. The space we were in was a little tight for our Bounder, it worked just tight, good enough to overnight. The 50 amp didn't work. The owner checked it out and his device showed good but wouldn't work with our coach. Had to use the 30 amp adptr. They're doing lots of updates, wish them luck.

Always a great stay at Benson KOA. It is nice to see the hard work being done on all the camp improvements. We can't wait to return so we can see the progress being made.

It was ok, but VERY tight sites. Dusty. Small laundry with 2 dryers and one washer out of order. (This was noted in a November review). Price high for being a sardine in a can.

The hosts are wonderful. Helpful. laundry room was clean and fair pricing. The grounds are dismal. Rigs packed in so close we can hear neighbors flush. The dirt and dust was miserable. Obviously improvements are pending. But some solid parking pads and more gravel on the road space and a small patch of green grass, would help. DG in the dog park at a minimum. Not KOA worthy even in desert.

Just OK -- units are quite close together on a gravel lot, and it's a dirt road into the park. The bath house had a single shower, so choose a good time for that. People are nice.

No pavement to or in this KOA. Price was high considering the amenities. Lousy internet as usual. I would look elsewhere next time.

Good, they are in the process of updating the pool . Sites are quite close to each other. Need larger spots for big rigs. Workers were real nice people. Would stay again.

We had hi hopes for our stay in Benson. We heard the camp was recently purchased and new owner was making repairs. We thoroughly enjoyed Donna upon check in. The water, elec & dump worked as advertised but the infrastructure of the park needed major repairs and cleaning. The biggest problem the thorny balls that stuck to shoes and my dogs paws. We spent days finding them with our bare feet, ouch!

The staff was great, all helpful and friendly. Very quiet at night, if fact I didn't know there were so many people that are sleeping by 9pm. I'm sure it will be the best of campgrounds when the current renovations are complete. I would stay there again.

Terrific staff who are always most helpful. We really felt like we were at home. We really enjoyed our stay there and will certainly stay again. The campground is located close to so many things we enjoy. Again, the staff are the best.

Pretty cramped with other sites. Wifi did not connect. Facilities could use a cleaning. I prefer night skies over street lamps.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They try to accommodate you anyway they can. Still some construction work going on but no problem. Restrooms were spotless.

They advertise high speed Internet. What a joke. There is no Internet connection at this place. Even the Verizon signal is bad. There are many very bright lights placed on the edge of camping sites. They do not take the time to even out the gravel so if you are camped by the office you hear gravel moving under tires all day/night. The place is currently under construction. Save your money!!

They seem to be well on their way to restoring the facility to its full potential. The people running it were very nice. One can't do anything about the nasty little burrs that get everywhere and are such a nuisance. The policy to pay for a sewage dump is ridiculous especially when you are staying for a few days. We didn't think much of the town of Benson.

The campsite fit our needs. The sites were so close together. The site it self needs a lot of work, which I know they are working on. However with that being said our site had a horrible picnic table that didn’t warrant using, the ground was full of stickers, completely dead trees. Our neighbor left out dog food and we had a pack of 12 javelinas outside and under our trailer.

The overall camp sites and closeness were not up to what we expected for KOA standard. We expected more space between the sites and nicer more Mai rained grounds. The restroom and showers however were very clean,new and nice. The gravel sure was level.

This is a lovely camp with good thing to come. The manager Mike and his wife are the nicest people. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a great visit. The showers and bathrooms are spotless. The parking spots are a generous size and the hooks ups are well placed. They also have the cabins if you need them. If you are going to Benson AZ this is the place to stay. Highly recommend.

I always get my propane refilled here, they're extremely friendly and helpful. It's always quiet, clean and especially easy to get to.
