Not sure what is used to decide where trailers are parked. The spot #89 that we were given was in a very tight area. With a bank to the upper level and a tree that needs to have branches removed. The tent space next to us was well over the size of the spot. Luckily we didn’t have to leave early so we could wait for the tent to pack up.

Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms…nice place for an overnight stay. Sad we were not able to get pizza due to getting there later than planned due to a storm.

Pros: Owners and staff very friendly and hard working. Cons: No shade Would be nice to have inside space to relax out of heat and wind.

The campsite was great and convenient. The cost is not worth it though. We have stayed at many RV campgrounds for half the cost. Not sure why this chain has to charge such a drastic increase

Arriving late everything was good except for the speed bumps just inside your gate...really??? After check in is understandable, but before we even get to the office?? AND yours are so bad we literally had to crawl across them! Not a good 1st impression.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We completely understand the inconvenience of the speed bumps — we have to cross them too! We'd truly love to remove them, but unfortunately, some guests don’t always drive at safe speeds when entering the campground. If everyone would slow down, we’d be more than happy to remove them. Thank U

We always stay here heading to and from camping out west. Nice sites with full hookup for quick stopping overnight, great friendly and helpful staff, great food, never have to cook!

We enjoyed this campground very much. The owners provide very good service including food delivery. The food is good and tasty. The laundry is great and the place is kept very clean. Definitely recommend. (Watch out for the flies in July)

Awesome campground with awesome hosts! Great location right off I-90. Order breakfast in the morning - they will deliver it to you! We definitely recommend staying here. Will stay again.

The service provided by Robert and Lisa (owners) is fantastic. Everyone is helpful, polite, friendly and truly care about their guests. There is a very nice cafe that delivers to your site. The park is big rig friendly and spacious. Easy access off/on freeway. Most sites have concrete pads which are great for big rigs. Highly recommend and appreciated the fine service! 5 STARS!!!

Despite the weather warnings this KOA is pretty awesome!!! Nice sites, no highway traffic noise (yippee) and they have a KOA Cafe' - may I suggest the chicken BLT salad - it was really good. Thanks for that little perk! Who wants to cook after being on the road for over 7 hours. Really loved watching that thunderstorm build and the rainbow was very pretty.

This location is great for a true prairie feel. It is quiet and feels like the great outdoors. Staff & owners are personable and extremely accommodating. They told me a lot about the wildlife they see in the area and about the nearby local camel. This KOA has a real kitchen with good food for hungry travelers. When we are back this way, we will certainly make a point to stop here again.

Hidden Gem! Clean,well maintained park. More space between sites than most ROADS. The owners and park workers were extremely nice, respectful and friendly. Good food available on site. Easy on/off highway. One of the best KOA's we've stayed in. Highly recommend. Can't not say enough about this park. Rob & Lisa are truly passionate and amazing hosts. They truly care that your stay is great

Clean facility, level sites, friendly people, a well-stocked store (including basic food items and ice cream), and a cafe that serves yummy home-made food delivered to your camper. Well done KOA Belvidere!

What a beautiful spot! We wandered around and saw geese and wildlife around the water. They have a cafe that made a delicious cheese steak and chicken salad! Greens were cold, chicken was cooked perfect. The staff was so nice. �

Fantastic Large sites, lots of K9 areas. Vary clean and upkept RV park. They donate ALL tips to Care Camps. We have stayed at several KOAs this year and the first we heard about Care Camp. They have a VERY well stocked store. Everything RV related you need. The café is a great perk. Had coffee at 8am, muffins and breakfast items. Now the Pizza we ordered was fabulous. And delivered to our site.

Easy on/off I90, nice, clean, quiet campground, gravel sites were level, very friendly staff! We had planned to grill for dinner but it was a bit windy so we ordered a salad and pizza 9GF crust!) from their cafe...delicious & they delivered it to our site. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

1st time staying at a a KOA. Won't be my last. This place is so well maintained and beautiful. The hospitality is second to none. Will definitely put this spot as a must stay when passing through. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
