Stayed for 7 nights. Great sites with plenty of space in between. Laundry room for bulky bed items was nice. Great food service. Hated all the flys though. Just that time of year!

I stayed here back in 2019 and was unimpressed. I was very happy this time and didn't even recognize it until I looked back on some records.

We was having electrical problems when we pulled in and it was 9pm but they didn’t hesitate to help us. Wonderful staff!!

Wonderful staff. Dog loved the dog park. We had a wonderful dinner delivered. Definitely on the stay here again list.

The staff was very friendly and our check-in process was quick and easy. The campground is basic, but the sites were nice and level with some shade. My wife especially enjoyed shopping in the camp store, which had a lot of nice items available. The location is ideal if you plan to visit the 1880’s Town which is just down the road.

Loved all sites are pull through. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We took advantage of the kitchen service that was delivered to our site. Would stay here again!

Very pretty campground. Lots of grass. Trees. Sites have space between. Escorted to your site. Very clean. Pleasant staff. Also great eats made on premises if you don’t want to cook and delivered to your door! Will stay again.

Stay as far away from this location as possible. We were booked here for 2 nights and after spending a short time outside we were forced inside because of the flies. They were so bad that the empty picnic table was covered with them . We did speak to staff at the office and they said it is always bad and they do have vendors ask to spray/control the flies but it is too costly. A miserable stay

Sorry for your disappointment. I have tried reaching out to you directly. As we have no problem trying to use natural attractants for flies throughout the campground. Due to extreme weather conditions we are seeing more this year and would have addressed this if told during your stay.

Nice level lot. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Close to interstate but not noisy. We had the �. Gluten free crust available. The food and service was excellent!

The staff was friendly and the sites were spacious. We were welcomed and shown to our site and pizza was delivered to our site. The only negative was the fly population. Not the fault of the KOA just the location in the middle of farmland.

The place is sort of middle-of-nowhere, but the owners/operators have done a great job of filling in some voids. Great personal interaction, level and roomy sites, utilities fine, access/egress easy, and even tasty food cooked to order. We stopped both coming and going on I-90, and highly recommend this park for an overnight or a peaceful rest.

Great location!! Bathroom was clean but could use some updates. Loved the people. Very happy with cement pad and everything was there. Came in late and we had no problem.

Great staff! It was a convenient stop for the night. Park is dated and restrooms could use a facelift. Office is well stocked and the pizza was nice.

Bathrooms and showers need upgrade. No secure lock on outside door!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry with your disappointment, but bathroom outside doors must remain unlocked for the safety of all guests. Each shower and toilet stall have a locking mechanism for privacy. Management is the only ones that can lock the bathroom in it's entirety.

The KOA Belvidere was in a perfect location for our stopover visit snd the price was right! The bathroom facilities were clean as well. Unfortunately, we checked in too late to take advantage of the café which sounds like a true treat! Note that this area of the United States has a lot of flies.

Nice Campground, quiet, friendly staff and owners. 1880 Town is less than 1/2 mile away, fun place to explore. This KOA was delightful!

We had a great stay! The workers were very nice and always helpful if we had a question! They had a great little kitchen that had some amazing pizza, for the times we didn’t want to cook. The campground was clean and well taken care of! The location was great for visiting the Badlands and the 1880 town! There were no stores around but the camp store had plenty of supplies that you might need!

The campsite was clean and spacious. It was nice having an outlet so we could charge phones and tablets if needed. The staff was awesome and extremely knowledgeable. Would definitely stay at this koa again.

This is a beautiful site with delightful people ready to help you in any way. It is a journey but the sites are very open and roomy. We will definitely stop again.

The staff was all super friendly. I love the large lots that they had. We had space to be able to enjoy the outside. I would come back again when I am in the area.

Of the five or so KOA's along western South Dakota along I-90 this is your best choice especially if you are car/tent camping. Many of the campgrounds along I- 90 here are not much more than parking lots for RV's. We found this KOA superior in many ways. This WAS supposed to be our stop for the gateway to the Black Hills. Unfortunately, we ran out of daylight a 100 miles eastward. So we visited in the early morning before anyone was awake. It was mostly empty as we were in the very early part of the season but it was evident we had missed out on a great campground. We visited May 2023.

What a great overnight stay. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. They also serve dinner delivered to the RV...my wife is STILL raving about the spaghetti. 1880 Old Town in just down the road and well worth a visit.
