We didn't know where we were staying this particular night and found the KOA online. It was so nice! Pretty campsites next to a pretty lake and since it wasn't that full it was quiet. The bathrooms and showers were nice and welcome since it was in the upper 90s when we got there. The gentlemen checking us in were very nice and made sure to point everything out to us so we didn't miss any amenities

Clean and organized. Most employees were friendly and helpful with the exception of Mike who was rude to more than just us.

Awesome place to stay and relax. Close enough to visit the badlands, mt.rushmore,crazy horse and Custer state park. Great people and awesome food from the cafe.love the frappes and pizza.

We were so grateful you had a pull through spot for us! We called and received a warm welcome! We reserved and paid over the phone. when we arrived staff was very attentive. Led us right to our camping spot! We even had a pizza, Philly steak sandwich and Italian soda delivered to our RV and it was great! It was an A+ experience! Thank you to the entire staff! You’re all amazing at what you do!

What a great RV park. Big rig friendly. Site 82 fit our 43ft and our Wrangler no unhooking. Easy in easy out. Good 50amp power. Fantastic WiFi. Had the pizza from the cafe. It was excellent. They delivered to our site. Employees were great. We are definitely coming back on our next trip west.

Easy in and out, off the highway, but quiet enough. Very friendly staff, escorted us to the site. We ordered food and firewood, which was brought to our site. It’s not a resort… but a good place for a stopover or a couple days rest on your way to Badlands, Yellowstone, etc.

We have stayed here 2 times now. This last time was for a few days and it was just great. I can not find a better KOA staff anywhere. They are on top of it no matter what. Very clean park bath house and all. There little restaurant has a good menu and best of all they will bring it to your site. The staff is just so nice and friendly and the store has so much to offer . Would stay here again 100%

This KOA was an overnight stop. That sites were spacious. The bathrooms were dated but very clean. What really set this KOA apart were the people. The people who work at this KOA were the nicest, friendliest and most welcoming KOA people I have ever encountered. Almost wish we would have stayed longer! Their attitudes were infectious!

I stayed in a cabin as opposed to getting a hotel room while I was passing through. It was about half the price of a hotel room. I was impressed by the service at the site. They even had a kitchen and they would deliver to the cabin. Whole site was clean including restrooms and inside the cabin. First time in a KOA cabin and I will be considering using them in the future.

This is in the middle of nowhere. We were bitten from horse flies from head to toe, no pool , the staff was taking value of our r v and belongings,(how much it cost and the value of our motorcycles) and our dog was off leash with no-one around chasing the ball and my husband was yelled at by the owner. She is a professional trained dog and is not aggressive at all. No room in the dog park to play

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry that your dog was unable to roam around freely. There is a leash law in South Dakota and at most every other campground. You and your husband were told at check in and agreed to keep your dog on a 6 foot dog leash. You chose to disobey rules you signed and agreed to abide by.

The staff were so pleasant and helpful and the store was stocked full of goodies! The food service was the icing on top - DELICIOUS and DELIVERED to our site! The laundry was clean and reasonably priced. There was plenty of area to walk my dog and they even gave him treats when he visited the office!

The staff was very friendly and accomadating, when I got there I relized I made a mistake and did not reserve a full hook up, they changed my site to a full hook up as soon as we relized my mistake, The grounds were very wonderfully kept. I would go there again..

It was a clean KOA, but it didn’t have a pool even though the picture on Google maps shows one so that was a bit of a let down. Other than that the staff were very friendly and helpful!

Great location, but the bathrooms and showers are very old and need to be redone. The staff seemed nice, but we’ve stayed at 20+ KOA’s and this one needs some work.

Staff was very accommodating. Site pad was level and concrete. Perfect place to stop and rest. We loved the 1880 town. We spent the better part of the whole day there.

Couldn't of been any better! Have food available & delivery to your door! Really good & the tip goes to handicap children! Everyone there really nice & helpful... 5++ rating!

Showers are a bit outdated and no fish in the lake. However it's a very quiet park, nice and level spots, staff are the some of the most friendliest people you'll meet.

Be sure to get the baked spaghetti and garlic bread sticks. Nice KOA, but really muddy.
