The RV pad had a huge incline at side of camper exit ....was very unsafe belt like you were going to trip or fall. Very unsafe. Sit#44 , however very nice large site.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I really wish you’d brought this up during your stay, so we could have taken care of it right away. We've had a lot of rain recently, which caused some shifting of dirt at the gravel sites, but it has since been corrected. Thank you!

It is an oasis right off the highway (90), yet you can’t hear it. Very quiet. We had a site on the end and had unobstructed views of the prairie. Beautiful and peaceful! They weren’t kidding that the sunset being the best. Check in was quick and friendly. There is a kitchen you can order food. They’ll deliver it to your site. Would definitely stay again.

Tremendous staff - very friendly and helpful! We felt welcomed from the moment we entered the campground! Owners have a great story when asked why they decided to own and operate a KOA - very motivational!

Unsure if camper next to us knew how to hook up sewage as the area smelled however customer service was top notch thank you

Park was clean & well maintained. Staff was friendly. Site was level. Has a wonderful cafe with a wide variety of food options including breakfast. Great overnight stop.

We had a very nice stay and appreciated the cleanliness and spaciousness of the sites. Both the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food made fresh in the kitchen was a bonus. Definitely the best Journey KOA we have stayed at.

This is now among our top 3 favorite KOAs. After a very long day of travel it was nice to be able to order dinner from their little Cafe. We had the burgers and sides and the meal was delish! Bonus...it was delivered right to our coach! Very quiet and peaceful place to rest and relax. Our kids are now grown, but they would have loved it there when they were younger. So much for kids to do!

We have been camping for over 30 years the last few years we've noticed how the spots are getting smaller and smaller the place we were at before belvedere our picnic table was up almost touching the sewer hose of the next camper yes does not happen at this place you have plenty of space just like it used to be if I could give this place a 20 I would I know fives the highest rating they do more.

Enjoyed our stay for one nt. The grandkids took a walk and fed the horses down by old town. Stars were awesome! Also love cats so enjoyed their visit.bathrooms were very nice.

This was our first time at a KOA. Compared to the campgrounds we usually stay at we felt very spoiled. The full hookups, the customer service and the amenities are worth the little bit extra we paid. Thank you!

What a fantastic little campground in a sea of...well, not nothing, but not much. No problems with any of the hookups, and they have an on-site cafe which we didn't know about, but totally would have used if we hadn't already made dinner plans. Friendly staff and well kept grounds.

Great campsite, easy to get to from I90. Lovely views from the campsite and very nice clean ammenities. Staff was very nice making reservations and checking in was super easy.

Friendly owners, great food. One night only, but will definitely stop in again on our way through SD. The camp store is very well stocked and the menu for the cafe is very good. Try the chicken parm. Yum.

It's a KOA so it provides a good, quite location, and services. Only thing I do not like: rumble strips. Driving any size rigs driving over them, disrupts EVERYTHING inside the rigs/units. If individuals speed through your park, deny their stay and lose the fee.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We completely understand the inconvenience of the speed bumps — we have to cross them too! We'd truly love to remove them, but unfortunately, some guests don’t always drive at safe speeds when entering the campground. If everyone would slow down, we’d be more than happy to take them out.

The rate was too high stayed at a Colorado journey for less last year. No pool. And the pizza was ok. The service from the employees was excellent.

I can’t say enough about this KOA. The folks were so friendly and accommodating. The campground is in a beautiful area, very scenic I wish all of the KOA’s were like this one. Outstanding people working there. They were truly a joy to interact with. They made us feel so comfortable.

1st time staying at a a KOA. Won't be my last. This place is so well maintained and beautiful. The hospitality is second to none. Will definitely put this spot as a must stay when passing through. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
