Loved this place- we felt connected to the Earth here, even though we were in a KOA parking spot with all the services.Sunset over the water and plains was beautiful. The most unexpected pleasure is the hidden gem of a on site cooked to order restaurant!!! And delivery to your camper door—Next time we are in South Dakota we will stop for pleasant staff and great food

Very nicely kept park, great gift shop and super friendly hosts. Beautiful prairie sunsets. We would definitely recommend it and stay there again if we are in the area.

Great Journey KOA, I recommend spending 2 nights here so you can see the 1880's town. Very cool collection of antiques and Dances with Wolf's movie collection.

this is our second stay at this campground and both times were very pleasant and enjoyable. the owners were very accommodating and let us stay an extra day due to the winds. The store had a variety of goods for sale and the restaurant food was good and delivered to our campsite. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Will stay at this campground again when traveling thru South Dakota.

We were only there one night but we wished we could have stayed longer. The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. We ordered food for dinner. They delivered to our sight. It was excellent and so convenient!

This KOA is so nice and the people are very accommodating! We were traveling across the country with a truck and large trailer full of our household items. We needed a campground close to the interstate that had room for the trailer without charging us for an RV site (we were sleeping in a tent). They were more than happy to charge us the tent site price and give us room for our trailer. Thankful!

The staff was fantastic! Friendly and helpful. BTW the double bed in Kabin 5 is not level. The head is lower than the foot.

There is water to look at but they face you the opposite direction so it’s not your view. Not full hook up at site. Great pizza at site. Nice K9 Kamp. I watched two people in bright yellow coats not pick up their dogs waste.

This place is absolutely the best!!!! We’ve stayed here on our overnight stops cross country the last two years. It’s so beautiful and the staff is AMAZING.

I really had a wonderful time! The staff were so helpful, kind and only yelled at me twice for going over 5 mph in the driveway! This was my first time camping and I will always remember the kindness of the staff. Thank you.

Quiet and spacious. Wifi works well. Understanding hosts that let me check out early due to the overwhelming heat (105 degrees). Please fix the latch on the door of Cabin 4 (I believe) as the wind blows it open. Without a screen door, it is easy for animals to get out. Bring anything you need. Little amenities close by.

Convenient to 1880's town. Helpful staff. I loved that they had choices for prepared food. Baked spaghetti was good. Brats, pizza... The lake added to the pleasant view.

Loved it. Very clean. Bathrooms were great. The night sky was spectacular! The sunset amazing. The staff super friendly and helpful!! My only dislike was the traffic noice. I would stay again!!!

Great concrete pads for our rig. Pleasant and helpful host that personally escorted us to our spot. Campsites we’re clean and you could tell that recent repairs were completed.

The grounds were clean and lovely. The sunset over the pond was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was very clean and neat. Legitimately every person on staff that I interacted with was genuine, kind and very very friendly. I was sad that I couldn't spend more time there! I love the porch swing on the cabin too. It is a great place to stay!

Very convenient stop, right off 90. Friendly and helpful staff. Has a pizza shop which was quite good, especially the salad! Would definitely return.

This is such a nice campground next to a pretty pond with great bathrooms/showers to top it off! We've stayed there twice and the people are very helpful and always trying to please. I'm sure we will stay there many more times in the future as we travel from our new home to our old.

Nice campground with good size spaces. The people running it were very nice and helpful. The opportunity to order food for the first time in almost 2 month and delivery too, was wonderful The food was very good and the price was right, thank you!

You will not be disappointed. Due to a previous KOA bad experience, we steer away from them. However, because of timing and location, this was our only choice. Thank you Belvidere East KOA. You changed our minds. This is one of our best experiences for an overnight stay. Friendly, clean, organized, level sites, happy staff. 😃
