Our greeting, check in and guide to our site was outstanding. Noting our rig on the way in to meet us the guide recommended a site change, then took me on a preview tour to pick which site I preferred. From extending our stay to scheduling our propane fill on our departure, they were helpful and kind. I believe the gal that was my guide and ultimately filled our propane was Alison.

Although this KOA is great for convenient Badlands entry, the park is a little bit of a mess. Not taken care of at all. Zero grass. Very dusty and dirty. Really no attempt to beautify. The hookups worked. Did not use facilities. No shade. I get it.. the terrain is rough. But there could be more done.

A nice KOA. Friendly service. Pool is smaller than other KOAs I’ve stayed at that were Journeys. The mini golf needs updating. The greens are worn off and coming off. The campground is well spread out and quiet. A FIVE minute drive from the entrance of badlands was nice, although no actual views of the badlands from the park. There is a small store with necessities and souvenirs.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms left a lot to be desired and one of the faucets in the women’s bathroom was broken. The WiFi was great, probably the best we had on our entire trip. Unfortunately, the portion of the campground we were in had no mature trees and it was 100 degrees outside. I would not stay at this KOA again, it simply wasn’t worth the long bumpy ride to get there.

Good location for visiting badlands national park. Typical KOA sites that are close together. They allow campfires in the sites which IMO can be too close to each others rigs. Our site was nice & close to the dog park & made it convenient for us. The K9 park was a good size that even my dogs (Malinois) could run some. The overall park was nice & neat & friendly staff. Would stay again.

One of the most remote KOA's in the country, an oasis amid the often-sweltering temps around Badlands NP and the small village of Interior, SD, about five miles away. The staff has always been professional, friendly and welcoming. The grounds are well-kept and the shade and pool are appropriate.

We were not happy with the "assigned" campsite and felt the office staff was resistant to making a change - even though there were several sites open and not pre-reserved. We did get another campsite. We are a KOA member and the experience soured our opinion of KOA.

Service was wonderful, campsite was lovely with tree shade. Pool was nice, too. We do wish the restrooms were better maintained and showers cleaner. Zero toilet paper in men's room for nearly three days. Overall, we would recommend.

Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Campground was nicely maintained and family friendly. The best part is you are only 5-10 min to the park entrance. We loved Badlands National Park! Not a lot of stores or restaurants close by so have all you need when you arrive. Sites are spacious and mostly level but full sun so in August it will be very hot!

We were only there for 2 days/3 nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The park location is great, and it was very clean and well kept, and the staff was amazing. We look forward to the time that we are able to come back

We had such a great time here! An awesome location near the Badlands— very convenient. Our camper spot was great and the staff was so kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice pool. The resort fee is out of line considering the park is dated. Bathrooms need remodeled. Mini golf needs torn down and redone. No beer? Staff kinda stand off ish. Only plus is the trees. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Overpriced. Understand proximity to Badlands NP allows pricing but at least make your park desirable. Another rig was in our assigned site so our next assignment was in the full sun, 100 degree temps. Requested & received shady location. Dozens of empty shady spaces but all rigs clustered in same area. Never impressed with KOA campgrounds. And TONS of unnecessary dust from stupid raking vehicle.

We visited the pool and it was dirty to include the ladder to get in and out of the pool on the deep end when a young teen attempted to use it to get out the ladder fell back into the water along with him. Safety is a priority and your pool needs some serious attention before you end up with a lawsuit

Site 40 has nice shade trees which was nice since it was 100 degrees. Overall nice facility with good amenities. Bathrooms could use a deep cleaning.

Very nice. Staff friendly. Some sites are very close to each other, but still had enough room to set up chairs and grill. Only about 5-7 min drive to park entrance. The pool was very refreshing.

The campground was really close to Badlands National Park. The daily trash pickup was really helpful. The pool was nice and the employees were very friendly. The only negative thing I can think of was that the flies were abundant (I don't know if there's anything that can be done about that though!).

This KOA has everything! Dog park, pool, mini golf, walking trail. They even have a place to buy bfast and dinner on specific days which is nice because it’s literally in the middle of nowhere. The restrooms were clean. Our site was spacious and had sun and shade. The work campers were super friendly and very helpful.

Quiet and peaceful. Sites were spacious and level with shade. Close drive to Badlands. I would stay again for a overnight. WiFi was very sporadic and the Laundry room was dirty.

The campground itself is very nice. We would have given it a higher rating except for the sewer problem. The first site they gave us had apparently been dealing with a very bad sewer issue. We requested, and received, a different site but were also told this was at least the second time this season that this particular problem had to be dealt with. We are hesitant to return because of this.

Super nice office staff. Tamra was terrific. Sides good width. Bathrooms in need of updating . Old fixtures, rust, outside areas need cleaning. Putting course really needs updating. Gravel needed to keep dust down please. Nice place to walk around for exercise. Truly the place just needs TLC from cleaning to updating.

We always have a great stay. The only request would be to upgrade the shower temperature dial. Move the handle one cm to the right and its cold and 1 cm to the left and its scalding hot. A potential for burns in children when the handle temp is hard to regulate. This occurs with both shower rooms for the women. Not sure about the mens.

Great camping and access to the white river. The river had white sand bars along the campground during our visit.

We rented a basic camping cabin for 2 nights. Only issue the mattresses on the beds could be a bit thicker, otherwise the campfire ring and porch swing were great, water tap right by our cabin. Store had nice selection. Wings were very good and kids liked the Hunt Bros pizza.
