The host gave us great insight on things to see . He told us of great trails to take. The campground was clean, organized and very quiet! Self registration for a late arrival was very well laid out. Felt like a campground due to having shade trees not camper on top of camper in a field. Firepits were clean and the flip over grill was clean. Recommend highly!!!

Great location. Bathrooms were clean but dated. Pull through Site was large and level. Good WiFi. Store had the basics and staff was friendly. Adequate for a couple nights. The main reason to stay her is the location relative to Badlands. Nothing else around.

Not as fancy as some as some places but a beautiful area right next to the Badlands National Park with laundry and a good size dog run. Thor was very considerate and a joy to talk to after our long trip getting to the park

We were really just there to sleep. We came in late. Site was a little tight for our 42 ft 5th wheel. Direction on what to do we’re good. We would stay there again.

Paid for a patio spot, thinking there would be space between RVs. Unfortunately, there was a trailer, where the guy spent the day working on his engine, less than 10 feet away. Then a rental rv backed into another spot and stopped about 5 feet from my side of the bed. Showers need updating.

Nice campground. Enjoyed the pool. Could not use bbq because no start button and door fell off when trying to look inside. Concrete patio sits up to high.

On the whole a very nice park. Large level sights and most were shaded. Amenities were ok although the bathrooms were not cleaned daily. One of the stalls in the womens bathroom by the laundry room had a mess in it and was not cleaned from time we arrived on Friday until time we left on Monday. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The bathrooms were really bad, we reported that the women's toilet was plugged and the next day asked if it was repaired and the manager reported it had been fixed. Later in the day it had not been unplugged. The bathrooms need upgrades as the first faucet handle was broken and unable to be used. There was nasty dirt and hair in the showers, the shower curtains were dirty and one was torn.

Amazing place! Quiet, calm, all amenities: water, electricity, sewerage. Public toilets and showers were cleaned every day. Will definitely recommend KOA! Thanks KOA for a great place!

Just a quick overnight, restrooms were a bit rough, broken sink with pieces laying in sink, not clean, KOA can do better. Spaces between RVs ws tight. Just needs a bit freshing up.

Place is very quiet at night, next to a river, close to a lot of attractions, and good campsites. Issues are the bathrooms are starting to look very dated, some stalls did not have toilet paper, septic vents are close to campsites keeping flies close, WIFI is available but not enough bandwidth when campsite is full, Last issue is reception process, all KOA campgrounds need to answer the phone.

Park was clean, however be sure to know where your water hookups are before you unhitch. Some sites were easy access ours was actually in another site. Had to purchase another hose to access the water. If you’re not fond of mosquitoes makes sure to bring your spray if you like to sit outside. On a good note it was very accessible to Badlands NP which was fabulous.

Employee Marty checked me in and made sure that I was happy with the campsite I was assigned. He took me in a golf cart through the campground and let me choose a site that was not in the sunlight since our air conditioner was not working properly. Thank you Marty!

Loved our stay and our site. Glad the pool was still open. The dog bath and mini golf were a dissappointment. We intended on using both but they were in poor shape. Other than that, it was a great campground.

Thor is a great host. We needed to add 2 additional days to our stay and no problems . He takes care of the guests as a neighbor.

This park is very close to the Badlands which made day trips a breeze. The staff was knowledgeable and professional. The manager Thor spent extra time to help us as first timers to the area. He explained how to get to the best locations for hiking, sunset views and local cuisine. Will definitely be returning in the future.

From the moment we checked in we encountered friendly staff and a clean facility. The pool was inviting so bring your swim suit. They answered all our questions and helped us to upgrade our campsite to the patio on day two. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the Badlands KOA.

It’s a good location for going to the Badlands. However, the property needs some updates. The mini golf was in rough condition and not like the online pictures. Small sites with some poorly positioned fire pits. Beware the dog park is pretty much all dirt and your dog will be filthy.

Friendly staff at check in. Our site had plenty of room for our 5th wheel and truck. We will definitely stay here when we travel out west.

Very nice campground. I believe his name was Marty that checked me in. He was very thorough and going over everything in the campground. My only issue I had was the grate on the fire pit was partially buried. So I was not able to use it. I loosened it, but it was very dirty.

Very nice tree lined campground. We had a large pull thru, shady site. Most other campgrounds in and around the park had no shade at all. Used the laundry facilities while there and they were pleasant and clean. Very close to the park.

The location and park were very nice. BUT… the bathrooms were not cleaned during our 3 day stay. Same trash, same toilet spots, same paper on the floor.

Staff was very cordial and helpful. The mens shower has mold on the ceiling and a couple of the shower walls. Charge you $5/day for amenities - not sure what this is about. Seems like since corporate owned, you lose the personal touch found with other KOA properties

Our only complaint is that we asked to be further away from the road but the gentlemen checking us in said there was a large group coming in and it would be too confusing. There were other sites we could easily have been switched to, even if it was a pull-thru site that would have been slightly higher but that option wasn't given to us.

We rented a basic camping cabin for 2 nights. Only issue the mattresses on the beds could be a bit thicker, otherwise the campfire ring and porch swing were great, water tap right by our cabin. Store had nice selection. Wings were very good and kids liked the Hunt Bros pizza.

Great location right by the badlands. Also right alongside the river. We were just passing through for the night. They serve pizza in the store. Nice little store. Spacious sites.
