I stayed in the yurt. It was comfortable and there was a nice store. The campground was in a convenient location close to the places I wanted to visit.

Showers were amazing so clean each and every day morning noon and night the TV in our yard did not work certainly wish it would’ve my son was out hiking and I had the chance to stay there hoping to watch the football game I know it’s the end of the season but when a person pays for those amenities I certainly wish we would’ve got them the lady at the front desk on our second day was amazing

The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were clean. My only comment is that the bathrooms are not close to the camping cabins. As an older adult, we sometimes need to use the restroom at night. Which means walking from the cabin to the nearest restroom in the middle of the night. Other than the restrooms being far from the camping cabins, we enjoyed our stay.

I've never stayed at a KOA so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay again! I rented one of the camping pods and it was perfect for my two day stay! Site was a quick and easy drive to the national park, clean, and pretty. All staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Cabin was very clean. Was thankful for the air conditioning and mini fridge. Plenty of outdoor space as well. Campground is quiet and peaceful. Can’t beat the location. At the edge of Badlands national park and excellent for star gazing.

We stay there the end of every September. They make improvements every year. This year they added trash pick up, wood delivery and even pizza delivery, straight to your cabin. Only thing we miss is having a real coffee pot instead of the K-cup in the cabin. Can't wait until next year. May every add a summer stay again. Still trying to get friends to come out with us. Campground is another great KOA! Woman at desk very helpful and pleasant with all interactions. We loved our deluxe cabin! And it was perfect with our two medium sized dogs. The smaller basic cabins tend to be too crowded so we really appreciate being allowed to have the dogs with us. Camp K9 is the largest we’ve seen! Dogs loved the running space. Campground so clean and well landscaped.

Excellent location. However the cabin had no hot water. After waking up to a cold shower the first morning I notified the office who told me they knew and a worker had went out at 6am to throw a breaker. Had already showered. Hot water later in morning. Next day wake up to even colder shower. Again I notified office and since we were checking out the lady didn’t seem to care nor offer comp.

Always enjoy our stay here- friendly staff- clean grounds and restrooms. Stayed in a yurt this time- screen door didn’t shut properly- they said they would take a look at it- but never did- very loud going in and out- our neighbors remarked on hearing it overnight and woke our 2 year old. TV also didn’t work and missed watching the Vikings game while having afire as well. For price all should

We stayed in the deluxe cabin which was very comfortable. For six years we had a travel trailer and usually stayed at KOA campgrounds all over the Midwest, West, Southwest. We especially liked the Interior, South Dakota campgrounds because the grounds were so spacious.

Stayed 2 nights. Very nice, clean bathrooms. Cookhouse to get meals onsite. So convenient. Pool was very nice. Would definitely stay again!

Dog park is in middle of campground? Barking,barking,barking. We have always loved and think is a special place as we started coming through 30+ years ago. Very special. Please bring back the soft Native American music that was playing 24/7 throughout all the restrooms. Relaxing. PLEASE MOVE the DOG PARK back where it was! We love dogs, but other people want to enjoy the place too!

Clean bathrooms, fun activities, good breakfast, large fenced dog run (good to the ground fence), nice-cold swimming pool, lots of space for all campers, ez access to the Badlands, 2023 lots of mosquitoes (but the moisture helps everyone-and they sprayed, so bring bug spray and be happy it’s not bone dry.). Most importantly the staff were excellent, friendly, fun, and happy!!!

Been to Badlands several times but this was our first stay at this KOA. LOVE IT! Very clean and the staff were super friendly.

The staff was wonderful and really helpful. I loved the fact that you deliver the firewood to the camp site and pick up the trash daily. The grounds were wonderful, cabin was adequate, pool was great, the Kookhouse was great. The access to the river was a bit challenging. It would be great if there was a path or 2 to the river. Our BIG issue was the mosquitos!! I know it's nature.

This campground is great. Clean bathrooms. very peaceful, fun pool. The only deterrent is the mosquitos!! I would bring all the repellent in the world, citronella candles, etc. Anything you can think of to fight the flies and mosquitos, bring. Also, stop at a grocery store before you get to the Badlands as the options close by are a bit lackluster.

I really like this KOA, needs some improvements. Water leaked through the AC in the Kabin. A 4 ft puddle w/ electric cords and connections in the puddle. If someone slipped or got electrocuted I'm sure there would have been a lawsuit. Had to clean it up ourselves. no towels for shower next morning. Told the front desk, they just responded "oh well". Didn't even offer to pay for cleaning towels.

Stayed in one of the camps cabins. Cabin was clean and beds comfortable. Camp had amenities that not all KOA has.

Our stay was very pleasant overall. The staff were great at helping us change our reservation from a tent site to a cabin when we saw that there was a good chance of steady rain. The cabin was comfy—there ended up being a leak though the A/C unit, though it didn't cause big problems. The staff were attentive and helpful. The breakfast offerings made for a good start to the next morning.

Location excellent right by Badlands NP. Did not like that there was no water spigot on my site and cabin not that clean, very dark. Did not like showers, when I went into women's showers, a man came out he did not realize it was women's as the outside door with "women" was open and he did not see that. Needs to be more secure there. But the location was awesome.

I absolutely loved this nice little park. We didn't use the amenities because we came to visit the Badlands. We spent several days sightseeing the park and it was very much worth the time and money to stay here. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming! Grant it, I'm writing this review a year later, but it's still fresh in my memory! Thank you for such a wonderful site and a great vacation spot!

Wow! We arrived late and so happy to find a beautiful site. Very clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend if visiting the Badlands area. We spent 3 days and it was a great experience. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes!
