We only stayed one night, but it was great. We were given a space that did not have neighbors on either side of us, which we liked very much. We had a great view of the trees and heard all the wildlife at night. The grounds and facilities were in excellent shape and very clean.

Nice older park. Facilities in good shape, cook shack was great to have. Would recommend trimming trees on the road out, kind of low and branches into the toad

We stayed for two weeks and found everyone to be friendly and welcoming. The park is very nice and the grounds are kept up well.

Always enjoy our stay here- friendly staff- clean grounds and restrooms. Stayed in a yurt this time- screen door didn’t shut properly- they said they would take a look at it- but never did- very loud going in and out- our neighbors remarked on hearing it overnight and woke our 2 year old. TV also didn’t work and missed watching the Vikings game while having afire as well. For price all should

Awesome location just outside the Interior gate to the National Park. Great, friendly staff that were very active attending to everything. Clean facilities. Must check out Cowboy Corner and The Wagon Wheel in Interior.

Very clean and friendly but the septic pond was a bit stinky.

We stayed at this campground 25 years ago - and it was great. The owners have let things go. It seemed tired and run down and kind of messy. We were in site 47 and constantly smelled sewer smell from the holding pond near us. Yuck.

Really had no issues with the campground as a whole. My issue was with the reservation staff. On our stay we were traveling with friends. When we made reservations we requested campsites close together. That didn't happen even though we reserved sites 10 months early. We were pretty disappointed.

Loved the park. Staff very friendly. Camp Ground clean. Only complaint would be not as good wifi but was better than some places we’ve been. Would recommend.

Clean, well-lighted and maintained rest-rooms set up common to KOAs. Cookhouse was very basic and not organized for dietary restrictions. Stayed on night in route home

The site we stayed at was substandard to say the least

Your reservation was made on-line, you selected an electric only site. We would have been happy to upgrade you to a full hook up site had you said you wanted to upgrade, you did not give up an opportunity to make you happy. Next time you are unhappy let someone know at the time.

The CG was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were immaculate. We will definitely visit again.

The best thing about our stay was the food available for purchase. The person who manned the store and checked us in was not very friendly or welcoming. Although Cable TV was advertised when we didn't get it and asked, we were told that they hadn't gotten to our site yet. Don't advertise something you don't have.

Beautiful campground, sites are a bit close, but we spent the days exploring the area, so not a big deal. Great/friendly staff took good care of us (even when we had to modify our dates).

New to camping and this was our maiden voyage. We stayed at 5 campgrounds on this trip and koa was our least favorite Sites are two close together. The person who led us to our site was very friendly. Check in didn’t seem welcoming but it was busy. Likely will not stay at a koa again.

We had a great stop. The showers were good and warm. They offered breakfast at a kiosk and the prices were reasonable. The gift shop was sparse but it is almost the end of season so understandable. I would recommend.

We stayed in the deluxe cabin which was very comfortable. For six years we had a travel trailer and usually stayed at KOA campgrounds all over the Midwest, West, Southwest. We especially liked the Interior, South Dakota campgrounds because the grounds were so spacious.

Great location! We had a great site BUT the sand spurs were awful! Our dog couldn’t walk in the grass because of them so we had to keep her on the rocks when we took her out. The spurs would come in on our shoes too. Painful prickly things to deal with. Supposedly you can use a post-emergence herbicide to fight mature sandburs, and a pre-emergence herbicide to prevent them early in the season

This KOA is very beautiful and located near the white river and badlands. The owners clearly care for the campground and were extremely welcoming during our arrival. They campground was well cared for!

Very nice campground. Extremely close to the Badlands. The staff is friendly and helpful. Having the Cook Shack was convenient. Love the phone booth, more rare than a certified Big Foot sighting!

I absolutely loved this nice little park. We didn't use the amenities because we came to visit the Badlands. We spent several days sightseeing the park and it was very much worth the time and money to stay here. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming! Grant it, I'm writing this review a year later, but it's still fresh in my memory! Thank you for such a wonderful site and a great vacation spot!

Wow! We arrived late and so happy to find a beautiful site. Very clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend if visiting the Badlands area. We spent 3 days and it was a great experience. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes!

3.5 stars - CABIN A/C UNIT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. It was a very hot outside (99) but for the price of cabins, the property owner(s) needs to invest in adequate units that are larger and work for weather extremes or store industrial fans for open window air movement. Getting up every two hours, to kick start an a/c unit, after being on the road for twelve hours, is NOT fun. :( The employees/management are very nice and the property is kept very clean. Bath-house (near) cabins was sparkling clean, which is always a big plus.
