I was disappointed in the disparity between patio RV sites. There were 3 and I got the worst of them for the same price. The other two had concrete pads, gas grills and one even having an umbrella with the table and a very nice fire pit with wind protection. I got a Weber Grill (who carries charcoal with them?), patio blocks, and right next to the propane tank and dump station. Not again.

I wish you would have mentioned your concerns sometime during your three nights with us. That site is actually quite popular because of the size of the yard.

We loved our stay at the Kampground, perfectly located ar less than 10 min driving from the Interior entrance of the Badlands National Park. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Having hot pizza available at any time was a plus. My only suggestion would be transforming the pool in a splash pad, or create one next to the playground area.

We stayed in a cabin. The mattress was from the 1960's. The bunks were hard. Water needed filtering. AC blew breakers a few times. Pool was out of order. It was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

We’ve been stopping by this campground for years on our way West, but no more, this KOA has gone down hill quickly, the only friendly person was Kerrie, the pool should have been opened, it wasn’t, the grounds aren’t very maintained. I don’t think they are taking any pride in the campground. Come on KOA, you can do better than this!

When you were here you got to see 2 of the holes in our original mini golf being replaced. As you were told at check in we are awaiting parts for our pool. We are sorry to hear you did not find any of of local Lakota staff to be friendly. You could have said something any of the times I said hi.

In good location and scenic. Not friendly. Fire pit up against sewer hookup. Other connections far apart. Campground smells like sewer. Pool and mini golf in disrepair . Bathrooms dirty. Not up to normal koa standards. Probably won’t be back unless new owners/ managers.

During your stay we rebuilt 2 holes on our mini golf. As you were told during check in our pool is waiting on parts. We would love to have it open but we at the mercy of shipping times. We wish you would have brought your other concerns to us while you were here.

Location is great but overall the campground is very worn down and needs to be maintained more. Pool was out of service, Dump station not working, Minature golf is in very bad shape. Our site was very nice and long and we loved it. Just compared to other KOA's it is overpriced. Hunt Brother Pizza is not ready but is advertised like it is. Staff very nice. Cut stay short due to maintenance needed.

100% of our RV sites have sewer, so we do not need a dump station. Our mini golf had 2 holes rebuilt while you were here. Our only promotion for pizza is a sign by the road that says "coming soon". Our pool is closed due to equipment failure. The Deluxe Patio was under $100 on a holiday week.

The pool was closed and the mini golf course was a joke. It was falling apart. The free WiFi was terrible. Location was good relative to the Badlands National Park. The staff were friendly and the sites were okay but a little close together.

The location is great for going to Badlands NP. The sites could be a little more level. The pool was not cleaned and open.

Men’s bathroom was not very clean. Our campsite was not great. Fire pit was full of cut up branches and looks like a tree was cut down and all the saw dust was all over out site. Grass wasn’t cut.

This campground needs quite a bit of upgrading. The putt putt golf badly needs repair. The pool was supposed to be open on Memorial Day but was still not clean. The bathrooms are old, which we could live with, if clean. But they weren’t. The proximity to Badlands makes it a perfect location. The staff is friendly. Please fix all the advertised amenities. Clean it up.

The place was nice and met our needs which did not include the pool which was either closed or in really bad shape. Only complaint is we woke on our last morning with no water. Turns out they had to shut it down for a health dept inspection which is fine if we knew ahead of time but no one came around and explained. Had to stop someone driving by who was checking site status or something.

Park was unkept. Bathrooms were not clean and most showers worked poorly. The pool was out of service (which we should have been notified). Would not come back.

The Deluxe Cabin was very cute and had most of what we needed. The campground was quiet and pretty. Too bad the pool wasn’t open on a hot day. The front porch swing was nice and having a full en-suite bathroom was great. The air conditioning didn’t work very well so it was hot in the cabin, but we only stayed one night. The coffee maker did not work. The bed was kind of uncomfortable.

This KOA stay was pricey. The camper cabin was small and full of cobwebs. The pool was not open for Memorial Day weekend, and the grounds were rundown.

We really enjoyed our stay at Badlands KOA! We stayed in a tenting cabin that was rustic, but clean and comfortable. I loved the porch swing on the front of it. When I think of our time in Badlands NP I’ll think of that swing!

Wonderful place to stay, very friendly neighbors, super close to the Badlands, lots of trees which provide shade (can't find that at other nearby campsites!), and being able to have a fire was a big plus. Wish there were more bathrooms and that they were a little cleaner, but that being said, I was happy to have them at all at a campsite!

One shower was broken for the tent sites, longer wait times and no signage. Could use a good clean as well. Bottled water other than Dasani is necessary. Otherwise, clean sites and friendly staff.

Great location but very poorly maintained. They charge an "amenity fee" but no idea what that is for since the pool was closed even on memorial day weekend and the "mini golf" is just plain dangerous. The showers were disgustingly dirty with hair piled up in the corners. Nice staff so probably not their fault

Good location, very close to the Badlands. Quiet and shady. Pool wasn't open, despite email before trip saying it'd be open on Memorial day. The campsite is near the river, but the river is not accessible, which is a bit misleading.

Location to the park is great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our cabin was clean and the grounds were clean. Did not buy anything in the store but it was clean and organized. Disappointed the pool wasn't open. The mini-golf course needs work. If you can't stay in the park, this is a great option outside the park.

It’s fine. The bathrooms are dated but clean. We only stayed for one night on our way out west so didn’t make use of the rest of the amenities.

Site was muddy and appears has not had new gravel in several years. It made for a messy trip. Otherwise the campground was fine. Wifi is 2G and cell service was spotty 4G service.

Campground was well maintained and in a nice location. Staff was professional - not friendly. We were charged an “amenities” fee each day which seemed ridiculous as the pool was not open and all other “amenities” were an additional charge! (Except mini golf which was old and very much in need of repair). If necessary, raise the price by a few dollars rather than tacking on fees!

Solidly mid campground, bathrooms were clean but dated and the women’s room had a clearly broken sink. The yurt was cute and cozy, but smelled strongly of cleaning products. The camp store employees were uninterested in selling me anything so I needed up not buying a drink or a postcard. Would stay again because of its proximity to the national park but not a KOA I would go out of my way to see.

We rented a basic camping cabin for 2 nights. Only issue the mattresses on the beds could be a bit thicker, otherwise the campfire ring and porch swing were great, water tap right by our cabin. Store had nice selection. Wings were very good and kids liked the Hunt Bros pizza.
