We spent just one night here on trip through, not realizing until pulling in that we stayed last year, which was also a great stay but again only overnight. We plan to return maybe for a longer stay next time to see the area. Everyone was helpful, the site was accommodating & the whole campground was well kept.

Over all good experience, we enjoyed the pool during the heat wave. The pool could use a fresh coat of paint. No local convent stores so the drive to town to get stuff was long. We ran out of like smores, gallons of water and small items, it would ha are been nice if KOA had supplies to buy. Otherwise great trip and fun with the family.

Everything was great! My first koa stay, and definitely will NOT be my last. Especially there at this location, as my Russell Terrier breeder is at this location. Thanks for everything

Outstanding! Staff was very nice & helpful. Access roads were WIDE & smooth, no tricky turns. Love KOA's but some have entries not so user friendly (I know, boo-hoo, get over it). Will definitely stay here again!

I was surprised the campground was selected as a Holiday it was more like a journey. No trash service the grounds was dated the campground has a small. No activities planned. It is beside warehouses. No shade or trees, just rocks but very convenient dog park and exceptional staff. Plentiful restaurants and great hiking nearby

As always, we had a great time. The staff was friendly and engaging. I can't talk enough about the bathrooms...they are so clean!! As with anything, they could use a little updating but those women who clean, Birdie and Little Kathy, take exceptional care of them. We had snow cones, pulled pork and hotdogs (which, put every pulled pork sandwich I've ever had to shame!Thank you, Scott and Kathy

We never checked out the bathrooms or the pool. We pulled in for a quick overnight. The lovely lady who welcomed us and greeted us could not have been nicer. She was the real gem of this place.

3 Night stay only. Loved the stop on a big trip. Quick cruise into Ohio/West Virginia from site. Very quiet and peaceful campground. The staff was great!!! Probably the best campground in that area. We are avid campers and would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful visit. Great location with easy access. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. Pool was great and kids enjoyed the playground.

Intermittent water, cable TV didn't work, wifi didn't work. The bath house was very clean, though. Staff was pleasant.

The city has had A LOT of problems with the water in our area. So sorry you were here for some of the repairs. We are in the process of upgrading our wifi, so sorry you were here during this time. We are very proud of our staff. They are a hardworking, dedicated group of people.

Super! Easy to find. Great amenities! Even a dog park. Staff were amazing. Camping site was level and clean. We will be booking again!

Loved the campground and the staff was very friendly! Many activities to do for children and adults. Only draw back was the vehicles parked in the drive lanes. We saw many times where the big rigs struggled to make turns because of the number of extra vehicles along the drives. Overall, liked the campground and would come back!

Resort staff very friendly and fun little western set up. Our only disappointment was that there is no pool on site. I thought all “Holiday” resorts had a pool so this is on me but probably would have stayed elsewhere. When traveling in the heat we really look forward to a nice dip after setting up.

Wish in the description you mentioned that it was very steep and hilly. Husband has a passmaker defibrillator and had a very hard time walking back up from the one shower plus they are not air conditioned and he ran out of hot water taking his shower. Would not recommend this place for elderly or anyone with health conditions

So sorry the park did not meet your expectations. We will investigate the hot water issue as we have a tankless hot water heater that should never run out of hot water. We have a handicap bathroom that is available on request. We also have handicap sites that are available on request.

Best part is the convenience of easy off & easy on to major highways. This campground is a parking lot with hookups. Cable TV not working, won’t go into detail. Corporate needs to seriously consider what they are doing for long term stability; across the board KOA has become extremely greedy and only focusing on their bottom line. Only benefit is close to interstate highway system.

The Campground was exactly what we needed for our one night stay on our way west. It was clean, flat, quiet and had a nice store, bathroom and laundry room. We will stay here again if passing through this area.

Clean and convenient spot off I64. Melissa at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I was very happy with the site she gave us (shady and cool on a hot day).

It was convenient to pull over for the night off the highway! And the kids loved the pool and jumping pillow. However, my husband thought the whole place smelled like sewage and the water tasted AWFUL! Glad we only planned to stay one night. Would stop again as a safe place to pull over for the night, but would use our fresh water tank.

Can't say enough good things about the dedicated & nice people @ this KOA. The were extremely helpful & went above & beyond getting us in & out of their campground. We arrived just before the 2nd of the 3 snowstorm cluster & left just before the 3rd storm in 2024. Thanks so much for all your gracious & kind help.

I can't say enough good things about the Ashland/Huntington KOA. After spending the holidays in New England with family, we and our friends headed south and traveled into approaching bad weather, we made last minute reservations to get our 2 motorhomes off the road before an unusual Kentucky snowstorm. The Ashland /Huntington KOA manager called to find out our arrival time, assured us our sites would be cleared and staff would be ready to assist us. After 2 snowbound days the sun came out as did the sand, salt and shovels. Dave helped clear all our wheels and got us on the road again. The kind and generous support of the manager and staff of the Ashland KOA was beyond any expectation and we are deeply appreciative. It was beautiful in Ashland in the winter and I'm sure it is just as beautiful in every way the rest of the year too. Thanks and blessings to everyone at Ashland KOA ❤️

Perfect place to stay on our road trip. We preferred it to a hotel room. Highly recommend the cabins. They were cozy and spotless.
