It was a real nice place to stay while I was in town visiting family. My grandson got to come out an enjoy all the fun you have to offer.

Staying in the cabins and they were very nice for what we needed for a two night stay. Staff was very friendly. Lots of things for kids to do. We will be back!

I love staying in the cabins. I travel a lot for work and this KOA is very close to one of our offices. The only thing i don't like are the mattresses on the beds. Those thin stuffed mattresses would be fine for the children's beds, but the adult beds need a little more support. Just a suggestion. Everything else is great from the kind and courteous staff to location and set up. It's a really nice

As always my experience was great. I stay here when I'm in the park of Kentucky for work. The employees are always nice, helpful l, and friendly. The cabins are always clean and ready for me when I arrive.

I Stayed in one of the rental campers. Had a nice long weekend! It was clean, plenty of room for 2, and the staff was very nice!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I stay at this particular camp ground when I'm out of town for work. The staff always work with me on returning keys and making arrangements for my stays, as I have earlier mornings and long days of work. The cabins and camp sites are always clean as well. Great place for a family.

It was a short but wonderful two days, The staff was helpful and informative. Cabin #1 is perfect for those of us in need of easier access surroundings. Thank you to all those that keep the camp clean and accessible . My husband and I will be back.

Very clean cabins. Well laid out for 3-4 people to stay in. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Little out of the way nice place for the weekend.

Thus is becoming our "go to" camping place. The cabins are the best!!! Always very clean and with all the amenities needed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place!!!

The cabin was really clean. Especially, the blankets and towels were really clean. The location was nice when I visited there as it was not far from the main road. It was a 10th wedding anniversary trip and I had the best time ever. The staff were really kind. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

Spent 2 nights in cabin 1. I had an incredible time. The owner, Bob was in town and shared some upcoming improvements!!!

Thanks for your nice comments. We just completed installation of mini split air conditioners/heaters in most of our cabins. These are quieter and more comfortable. We are also working on adding more attractions and activities for children.

Positives- we got a call for check in instructions & immediate assistance when our small heater wasn’t working, quiet & peaceful. Negatives-paper marked kk instead of k for cabin, parking spots very close to each cabin & our was facing the next door parking lot so “front porch” would have been weird. We had a lot of lady bugs, stink bugs, dust, and cobwebs. Gutted sheet on bed had stains/la

The location is perfect - 20 minutes to HTS airport. Close to Ashland/Huntington restaurants, shopping. I stayed in Cabin 1. Best part was the constant and regular HVAC from the new mini split (and the full bath in the cabin). Fire ring and parking at the cabin made it convenient to just bring an overnight bag and get away to nature. With some polish this rustic experience could be glamping.

We are glad you enjoyed the new mini split. These will be going into all our cabins any day now. These are in addition to the regular heaters and HVAC units our cabins have had. Quieter and more efficient and more powerful!

Every employee I had interaction with was very helpful and super nice. we rented three cabins, the facilities were clean. Unfortunately of the 4 burners in the two kitchens only one worked no oven but we made due. There is no central heat only room size ceramic type not sure how well that does in the colder months. Closest area with food choices is about 9 miles. Overall nice stay. Thank You

Thanks for your review. Sorry to hear there were issues with the burners. We made sure they work fine now. We are adding mini-splits this year, but guests have always found the current heaters to work fine in colder months. There are great restaurants within 15 min drive.

The host William was simply amazing. Friendly, kind and so very helpful. He anticipated all of my needs before I asked. Its reasons like the site (rented an RV) and hosts like William are why I keep coming back to KOA campgrounds versus all others.

My second time staying here. Both times stayed in a cabin. This time there was hair in the sink and shower. Otherwise a good stay. Suggestion, provide microwave safe dishes. The metal dishes are on point with the rustic cabin theme but are not microwaveable. Unless you bring your own, use of the microwave is limited.

The camper we rented was nice enough, but it was the first time we have ever stayed in a camper. Upon check in, we were given no information about how to work anything in or on the camper. The slide out, the awning, the drain for the shower, the heat/air system, or even TV, no information at all. We also were given no information upon booking about what would be supplied, as far as towels, etc.

I loved the cabin. My only real problem were all the hairs on the sheets. I did sleep on top of the bedding, covering up with my blanket I brought from home. There were also a LOT of flies. A swatter would have come in super handy. Honestly, the only part that really bothered me were the hairs. I’ll be coming back.

Thanks for your review. Yes, we do agree we have some of the friendliest staff. Our hours are set to reflect the amount of traffic and needs of our guests. In the winter the hours are a little shorter.

I stayed in a Deluxe Cabin for my 1 night stay. This was wonderful! Clean and updated. The bed was comfy and the K-9 area perfect for my dog. I would always recommend getting Deluxe Cabin with the bathroom as it's just a very nice convenience.
