We always stay at Ashland KOA when we travel west. Nice park that is convenient to the interstate and the staff is always friendly.

It's ok for an overnight stay. Not really a big rig friendly campground. Some of the staff were really helpful but most were just there.

We are a big rig friendly campground with very few trees. I am not sure which site you stayed at as there are sites here that are not set up for bigger rigs. Please call the office 606-929-5504 so we can discuss why we did not meet your expectations.

We were there for a week. This is our 3rd(?) stay at this KOA. As with the other KOA campgrounds, never a bad experience. Always clean, easy access to this campground. W/in 15min of stores in either direction.

I came to Ashland to trade up to a new camper. When I picked up my new one I realized it was 50amp service, the one I brought to trade was only 30amp. They moved me to a 50amp siite without hesitation with my new camper. Everyone was so nice!

Just a nights stay but campground personnel were friendly and helpful on area places to go or eat. A nice place to stop over during a trip.

We stay here quite often as it is the half way point in our trips back to our home state. The staff is always friendly and the sites are wonderful. Can’t compliment this location enough.

Love this KOA. It is home away from home. Everyone is nice and friendly. We stay here every time we come to West Virginia.

Staff was rude (female receptionist). Put us in the long term area and charged electric hookup. We paid for full hookups when we reserved. Did not want to honer member discount stating we booked online not by phonecall. Did not initially want to apply points (we have 122,000) and told me that was between us and KOA, they were not really a KOA. Site was not manicured. The bathrooms were clean.

Although you booked for the wrong weekend and we were extremely busy, we still found you a spot, that was not good enough, you moved twice. You then called our receptionist stupid when she attempted to explain we were a franchise and did not offer the discount that you then wanted.

Premium patio site full of weeds, furniture scattered, very low water pressure. No one in office for check in even though we were there hours before they closed. Not a good experience.

We are sorry that the campground did not meet your expectations. Our office is open 9am-9pm, not sure when you came but there is always someone there. Please call the office 606-929-5504 so we can discuss your issues as they are not our standards nor our normal operating procedures.

Nice , peaceful, things to do staff was nice clean place to stay had a dog park first one we have seen nice nature trail got cable had phone service the whole time

Great campground. One suggestion for late arrivals is write out detailed directions to the campsite. The Salina KOA had it all written on an envelope and it was very helpful because it is so dark and disorienting at 2am. Great stay though. Thanks.

The lady at the desk was AMAZING! Stayed over and helped me get parked. We were just passing thru, dusty gravel probably keeps bigger rigs away, but it was spacious to get in and out with ample power! Thanks

Can't say enough good things about the dedicated & nice people @ this KOA. The were extremely helpful & went above & beyond getting us in & out of their campground. We arrived just before the 2nd of the 3 snowstorm cluster & left just before the 3rd storm in 2024. Thanks so much for all your gracious & kind help.

I can't say enough good things about the Ashland/Huntington KOA. After spending the holidays in New England with family, we and our friends headed south and traveled into approaching bad weather, we made last minute reservations to get our 2 motorhomes off the road before an unusual Kentucky snowstorm. The Ashland /Huntington KOA manager called to find out our arrival time, assured us our sites would be cleared and staff would be ready to assist us. After 2 snowbound days the sun came out as did the sand, salt and shovels. Dave helped clear all our wheels and got us on the road again. The kind and generous support of the manager and staff of the Ashland KOA was beyond any expectation and we are deeply appreciative. It was beautiful in Ashland in the winter and I'm sure it is just as beautiful in every way the rest of the year too. Thanks and blessings to everyone at Ashland KOA ❤️

Perfect place to stay on our road trip. We preferred it to a hotel room. Highly recommend the cabins. They were cozy and spotless.
