We had a great spot with a patio and plenty of room for our truck and fifth wheel. We used the laundry room, played putt putt and got some exercise on the playgrounds. Everyone we met was very friendly.

Sites were clean and level. We went to Andy Griffin museum and had some fun. They delivered dinner the first night, we had the brisket sandwich was great and cheep.

One of my biggest issues is that all of the good camping spots in the back circle by the pool, playground & jump pad are taken by the staff that live at the campground. It’s so hard to find a spot bc it is so limited to where we want to camp so we can still see our 7 year old play and still give him the independence he wants but still be in eyesight from our camper.

Management was very helpful as we are traveling with another camper needed 2 sites and she made sure we got 2 together how nice very well maintained would stay there again .

Everything there is wonderful except the Camp Host, she is extremely rude and should not be working in an environment where she serves people and is a face to face representative for the campground. The lady that did pillow cases was wonderful. So sweet to talk to. The only other thing was they would not open the 2nd pool gate on side of bathhouse. My husband is disabled and had to walk to far.

Too close to the busy noisy highway. Made it impossible to sleep. Other than location, the camp was very nice.

We are close to interstate for an easy in and easy out even for the biggest rigs. We are far enough away from the interstate that most people enjoy a good nights sleep. The crickets and the bull frogs are sometimes noisy at night. Please visit us again soon so that you can enjoy our natures symphony

The staff was very nice. The Campground was not very impressive looking.

Park was empty but they packed us in between two other campers. One campers was leaking water(actually pouring water) out of his hose connection which made our site a swamp. Office closed to report. Camper came back noticed the water and did not do anything to fix it. Good thing it was just an overnight stay

Muddy, gritty pit...all sites need gravel!

We are so sorry that the weather was not up to par during your trip. We have had a very wet season here in Eastern Kentucky. Please return again this summer so you may experience the beauty that is our area and our campground. Because of the rain our nature trails are in full bloom and beautiful.

We had very short overnight travel stay, unable to see much of KOA but saw grounds somewhat. Nice area. Bathroom/shower fair - will get you by. Had severe rain on morning leaving, drenched getting on road. Don't remember if KOA offered rain protection - would highly recommend. Wished had more time to explore.

KOA offers "Sensible Weather" when booking online you can request it. Being rained in makes for a rough trip. We have board and card games that you can check out, next time you come ask the office for one. We hope that you can come again and explore our little piece of nature we have here.

We stayed at the bottom of the hill area. It was really nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly also

It felt crowded. We didn't try out the pool etc., because it was pretty far away (campground is in 2 sections). Showers were nice. Laundry room sufficient

You visited us on one of our busiest weekends of the year. Our sites are large with easy in and easy out pull thrus, even for the biggest rigs. Our housekeeping department works very hard keeping everything clean and ready for the next guest, even on our busiest weekend.

The campgrounds are well kept. However there is one employee that is rude and harassing. She constantly road around in her golf cart badgering all the campers. I have a 2.5lb dog, she was sitting in my lap. This woman told me that I had to have a leash on her. She griped about the size of our camper that “whoever booked us is ridiculous”. I understand why they put us in the lower lot on a holiday weekend, but the road is narrow and they need to trim the trees back. Long and tall trailer have to rub the trees on the way down the hill. Please trim the frees on both sides.

Our stay was an overnight stop. Easy to get to and easy to park/set up. For our purpose it was great and would do it again if we're traveling through that area.

Grounds clean, sites well maintained and quiet. Bathrooms and showers clean. We were placed in the lower section which was fine for a one night stay. The site map we were given could be updated to reflect changes in exiting the lower level. The roads are pretty narrow for 2 way traffic.

Only stayed one nigh while passing through. Great camp, on the upper sites, level and room enough for slideout. Staff very nice and helpful. Came for the advertised fishing, did not know it was so far and down the hill and acessible only behind other campers. We would come again, stayed in 30' travel trailer

The camp was very convenient to the highway! Checking in took longer as the tax rate went up since my reservation was paid for but it was covered by the campground. My surge protector malfunctioned and was concerned about the pedestal but their electrician was able to test the line and all was good! The only negative was a campground is a little tired looking for a KOA - time for some updating!

The staff were wonderful. We had 2 sites and there were 5 of us that came down to ride atvs at Rush Atv park. The manager was so kind she helped us with parking our truck and trailer with atvs on it close to our site. The bathrooms were clean. We will definitely be back.

This was just for an over night. The person who checked us in was great. After we were all done, she saw our rig and said we should have a longer site. She went back into the building and set us up in a longer site. Easier in and out. Thank You.

We had a good site. Campground is clean, restrooms are nice. We stayed for 2 nights. A very nice campground. Easy on and off, yet a quiet campground. Staff was very nice.

We've been to this KOA many times. There have been some improvements to the office, grounds, and amenities. The only thing that bothered me was they mowed the grass while we were onsite. If any rocks had been picked up by the mower they could have damaged our truck or camper.

The misses & I have been going to this campground now for 7 years & see no reason to stop. Living where we do it is just a bit over a 2-hour drive and, with the exception of traffic in Maysville, it is a very relaxing cruise, especially in fall. The only fuss we had was the water pressure was lacking a bit. If you like Mexican food, try Tres Hermanos Nunez in Cannonsburg about 12 miles east.

There were pros and cons. Great location, nice staff, very minimal road noise from secondary road. The campground seems fairly run down. The grass needed mowing - dandelions were bloomed and cottoned out so had been awhile. The women’s shower (far left) door wouldn’t latch/lock leaving only 1 operating shower. Above the shower paint was peeling. Our rv pad wasn’t level. Just a so-so campgrou

This is a cozy place. After staying here in a cabin and an RV on 2 different stays, there's a lot to say about how nice and thoughtful it is of the hosts to provide a kitchen, bathroom and linens on the bed when you arrive with two dogs. Some of the KOA‘s don't seem to consider this for those traveling with their best friends. So, this is encouragement to all! You can travel with your pets and be respected too! So, get out there with faith that your pets won't reduce your prospects of better provisions and find KOA's that will match this one!
