Clean accommodations and friendly staff!

The staff are lovely and very friendly. The campground is clean and well cared for. We use the laundry room and it was absolutely fine. I did try to shower one night, but the water was too cool, so I abandoned that and went back to our camper to shower. That’s the only thing.

Great overnight stop. Easy in, easy out. Late office hours even off season (8am-8pm). Level sites, full hookups in good working order. Cute store. Close to airport and train tracks, but no noise at night, so good sleeping. Definitely will stop here again.

The campground is in the middle of nowhere. It is bare if trees and more expensive than other KOAs with the similar amenities. We were dissipated. There is nothing to do there and the camp offers nothing in the winter. The staff are very nice.

The train rolls through just about every hour (which is fine) but they also blow their horns which means no sleep

The staff was amazing!!! The facilities were well kept and stocked. The only downside was the noise of the planes and trains.

We appreciated being able to check in late and our dogs loved the Kamp K9. Clean and lady at front desk was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if we are ever going through Texas!

Nice for an overnight stay. Train and airport right next door were less than ideal but otherwise it's nice and clean.

A clean, friendly nice laid out KOA. Good WiFi, but cable TV is being worked on. Only drawback was the noisy trains every hour.

It was a great place to stop for the night! Like they say, it’s not a resort, and it’s windy, but it is clean and the staff was friendly. The complaints about planes and trains are unfounded. They are not loud. We will stay again on our way home.

Very welcoming. Shared tips on local restaurants and some attractions. The park was beautiful even for a cool November stay. The laundry and gameroom were a big hit with our crew.

Alot changed from when we stayed before. No propane no limo to the Big Texan and I wish we knew before we stopped on our way through this winter. The park people were very friendly and apologetic for the 'shortfalls' No cable and hit and miss internet.

Easy access from the freeway. The staff was extremely helpful and hospitality was excellent. They have a nice store with a good assortment or RV supplies, food, and souvenirs. The TV room to relax was beautiful. New bathrooms were installed by dog area. They were very nice and clean.

We stayed twice overnight, going west and returning east in October and November. We had a pull thru site and a back in site but the pull thru was much easier access for our 36' motorhome. There are very nice dog parks which were the only facilities we used. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The park is nice and I would recommend it.

Nice clean, friendly KOA, but weak WiFi and cable TV under repair, plus near noisy train tracks reduces their evaluation.

Easy access to route 40 yet away from the traffic and road noises. It is near a military base and there are low flying planes however things quickly quieted down before dark and we slept well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the store was large and well stocked with things you may need while traveling. This is a good place from which to explore the area �

BEST KOA EVER! And we stayed 11 days! 1)BATH HOUSE - immaculate, great water pressure, consistent water temperature & 2 bath houses to choose from. The bigger newer one is right across from the pool 2)POOL- pristine, all day sun, open B4 memorial day & was heated with a new heater (which the on site owner offered to turn up the heat at night if it wasn't warm enough, it was) and open till 10 to accommodate late check ins, multi colored lights up at night, lounge chairs and sitting chairs with a covered shelter 3)SERVICE-friendly staff and they golf cart guide to the site 4)LAUNDRY room- change machine, good washers and XL dryers 5) GIFT SHOP/sitting areas-boutique decorated with adorable western theme, seperate dining area with large screen TV and kids toys and free Starbucks keurig, seperate outdoor cute coffee area 6)PLAYGROUND- very nice, kept up and raked with a swing for the adults 7)DOG PARKS (2)- 1 gravel, 1 grass (that is watered and healthy grass) (LOTS of grass all over property for walking pups and a huge grass field with 4 cute dummy hydrants) 8)NOISE LEVEL-complaing reviews WAY exaggerated! Small airport, and you may barely here 1 plane a day, only if you are outside and the train tracks are a mile away. They have a very long privacy fence that acts as a sound barrier and keeps down dust and brush. We slept like babies!9)GROUNDS -they were always doing something, from watering the grass to cleaning the pool, raking park gravel, even saw them wiping down the picnic tables!? Go for the patio site....the extra room has spoiled us!

Nice staff, very clean bathroom. Level site, the only problem we experienced was the mower did not have a deflector on the discharge and he threw a rock at the motor home. Sounded like a bullet hit our motor home. Didn't want to go to them office and throw the mower under the bus as we still were staying another night. Other than that it was a nice stay.
