Laundry is 24/7 with a coded door. The machines are quarter operated with a 5$ and 1$ change machine.
Wash loads are $2.00 and large dryers are 5 minutes for a quarter.

Campfires

Due to the fact that our area of Texas is windy and susceptible to fast spreading wildfires, we do not allow ground level campfires.

Sleeping in vehicles

Due to our windy area and temperature changes, we do allow tent site areas for vehicle sleeping.
These are only available during tenting season. March 1st - November 1st.

If you arrive after the Campground General Store is closed, please direct your attention to the "NIGHT REGISTRATION" box located to the right of the Front Door.
There you will find all the information needed to call or make your selection.
NOTE: Camping Cabin reservations cannot be made after the General Store closes.

We provide many pet stations throughout the park that provide trash receptacles and doggy bags. We also assess fines of up to 10.00 fee per incident, if you do not pick up after you pet.

Propane - currently unavailable

Propane can not be dispensed at this time, due to circumstances out of our control. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Sites and Weather

We have high winds and weather that can quickly roll in and out of the panhandle area. Please keep up to date with weather updates.
Winter will have freezing temps, and we suggest keeping your hoses unhooked and only hooking them up to the water hydrants to fill and then disconnect.
We do not have heated hydrants and may occasionally shut the water off at the sites to prevent damage.
The bathhouses will be open unless there are emergency outages.
