Such a beautiful place! Well taken care of, 2 doggy play areas, bathrooms and showers are good, clean and comfortable cabin, kind and helpful staff! I think maybe the air filter for the AC in the small cabin may have needed to be changed, there was a slight “off” smell, but other than that everything was perfect! Would definitely stay again!

The night Security Guard was very helpful as was the lovely lady who checked us in. We highly recommend the Amarillo KOA.

I loved the way they handled check in as I didn't even need to go inside. The young man waiting on a golf cart asked my name & handled everything. I stayed in a Camping Cabin which was located very close to the bathrooms. The K-9 area was perfect for my dog even though it was very hot for my 1 night stay. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked great!

We only stayed one night but it very nice and relaxing. We used the pool and absolutely loved it. The staff were all great. The showers and bathrooms were clean! The grounds were well maintained. Loved that they had a laundry room.

One night. Check in staff very friendly. Park needs some TLC. Restrooms and shower facility needs updating. Pool was great. Just needs some TLC.

Disappointed that we didn’t get an email before we arrived telling us for the ENTIRE week including our checkin that the office would be closed 1 1/2 hours early. A staff member was out of state so an email seems like it would have been easy. But the staff that was there was very polite.

We arrived late and the security guard was helpful in showing us to our cabin and recommending a restaurant that would deliver some dinner for us. Our cabin was clean and very comfortable. Thank you for a clean and comfortable place for us to stay on journey.

Very nice park. This is our 5th time staying at the park. There is new management since our last stay which has only improved the park and amenities. The manager did a great job, probably one of the most hands on managers we have ever seen. We will definitely be back on our next trip to or pass through Amarillo!

We got there an hour early for a Cabin and was told we couldn’t wait anywhere on the property, she told us we had to leave after a hard day riding our motorcycles. We left and came back after 3pm. Terrible customer service.

Talk about a Texas welcome! My wife and I have been travelling America on our motorcycle and we just love camping at KOA’s. This may have been the best one yet! The facilities were so clean, the pool cool and refreshing and the accommodations superb! Also we’d like to give a big shout out to Jamie who really made our stay even better!

I have stayed in cabins at the Amarillo koa several times and I have always enjoyed my stay. The staff members are friendly and very helpful. The pool is very clean as are the restrooms and cabins.

The people here were the most friendly people I have ever met at a KOA. Ready to help and do anything to help with our stay. The golf cart escort was very helpful. Everything was clean and well kept. Made our night of passing through easy.

Stayed in a small cabin on a cross country trip. Bathrooms are close and clean. Water pressure great for shower. We were pulling a cargo trailer and staff was very helpful with parking

This is one of the cleanest KOAs that I have stayed in. The people running this KOA were VERY nice and helpful, even offering free coffee as we left for our second day of travel. I will recommend this KOA to all my family and friends.

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- $64/night Stayed 2 nights Site #8 Stayed here mid-Sept 2023. Pull-through 50 amp FHU. Site #08 THE GOOD: Staff: Very friendly staff! Sites: There is more grassy spots than photos online make it seem, which is nice! Location: minutes from gas and lots of stuff on Route 66. Cadillac Ranch is 18 min away. Field area: Large grass area/field in the middle of the campground. Directions: You feel like you are driving into a neighborhood and may think you took the wrong turn but it's right there. Near train: Yes CONNECTIVITY: Campground WiFi: -Did not try. Cell/hotspot using booster: -AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G) -Verizon (2 of 4 bars—4G) THE BAD: Location: Near large poultry plant so the smell sometimes hits you.

I highly recommend! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites were all maintained. Our site was a pull through and level. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained as well. The water was hot and the pressure was great! I loved that the shower was in its own private stall that you could lock for privacy.
