From previous stays, there have been amenities like towels linens and pillows provided in te cabins. If I’m going to pay the high price that you charge for a standard cabin, I expect a little more in return. Property and facilities exceptional. Helpful staff unless you arrive 20 minutes early to check in, then you have to wait 20 minites and come back.

Can't wait to be back in Feb then March. Our cabin was super clean (smell of cleaner used) and the restrooms as well. The staff is always super friendly. We feel very safe here as there are cameras everywhere and staff does a good job of patrolling. Some people may not like it so much, but we do because we have kids and feel safer that way.

Arrived on motorcycles for our tent sites. It rained on us after arrival, and then we had about a 30 mile an hour wind trying to set up our tents. Difficult to say the least! Guess the girl on duty saw us struggling. She came by and offered us an upgrade to a basic cabin (due to a cancelation). We gladly accepted, haha! Awesome place and staff! Definitely recommend!

We had reserved a tent site however it was raining when we arrived. we was greeted at the driveway and we was offered an upgrade to a cabin which was much appreciated. Staff was friendly and cabin was clean and we had great service, we will be back again.

Your internet is horrible. I had little to no service during my entire visit. I have stayed at the KOA Amarillo no short of 5-8 times and have never had any issues with connectivity in any of those visits. Fix the internet issue and get five stars!

We always stop at your camp coming back from traveling on the west coast. It’s always very quiet with the exception of the train. You can get a great view of the moon coming up in the evening and the sunsets are remarkable. Star gazing is a lot of fun. I was surprised there were so many visible that close to the city. Showers and bathrooms are always clean and everything works properly.

I always try to stay here when I’m passing through with my RV in a FHU site or when I’m traveling without the RV, I know I can be happy in a rustic cabin or the deluxe cabin. I appreciate the escort to the site, the friendly and helpful office staff and the clean restrooms!

The stay was nice and clean, I reserved online, identified I had a small family dog, KOA did clarify extra charges for pets until I arrived, it would be appreciated if KOA would put extra potential charges online

The campground is easy to get to, easy in and easy out. Nice level sites. The camping cabin had a newer A/C unit, but it had a hard time keeping up with the heat and humidity of the summer. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall, a decent campground to spend a night or two at.

We RV and stay at a lot of KOAs, but we were staying in a cabin which we reserved online. We were shown a price after we said that we had two small dogs. Upon arriving we were charged an additional $40 for our pets...to stay in a cabin with no bath, wood floors and bare beds.The temperature was in the 90s and the AC unit would stay on 5-10 seconds and then go off. It did this all night.

We arrived on 8-24-26 as it was 110 degrees. I had read in recent reviews that there were a couple reviews talking about the air conditioning in Kamping Kabins that were not adequate. I spoke with Meagan/Manager and she assured us that the air conditioning units worked just great. We found that Meagan was very helpful and was willing to help us in any way possible. We were very pleased!

This is one of my most favorite KOA’s. I’ve stayed in full hook up sites, rustic cabins, and the deluxe cabin. I enjoy the friendly, helpful staff, the pool, and the consistent cleanness of the park, cabins, and bathhouse. The two dog parks are great for my dachshunds.

the KOA is a nice place just wished all of them took the military discount & all cabins had ac. i dont really have any complaints other than this. They do have a food truck near the swimming pool called Shnitzel & Dreams however the food was extremely greasy (beef brisket) husband had the chicken meatballs he only ate half due to the grease & chicken nuggets were as well wasted MONEY it was gross

The stay overall was nice, even for just one night. The A/C in the cabin, although new in appearance, did not cool the cabin very well. It felt the same temperature inside as it did outside all night. The camping cabins could also use a mini fridge. The bathrooms were clean and the hosts are very nice.

We requested a cabin close to the restrooms due to foot surgery recovery and we were pleased where the cabin was located. Good room accomodations. We will be back each year. Thanks!

This was our 4th time at this KOA, since it is the most convenient as the first stopping point on trips back east. Getting to it is simple and the welcome is always present. The staff is very helpful and will do their best to accommodate all your needs. This last stay was in a cabin and they were kind enough to be able to extend the stay for another night. Clean, friendly, and pet friendly.

Only stayed overnight. The bathrooms and showers were very clean (but not modern). The pool was the best clean clear and very cool, just what I needed on a 100 degree day. They have a food truck which is open for breakfast and dinner. Had chicken tenders and fries- large portions very good. Stayed in primitive cabin with a/c which was nice cozy. Enjoyed my stay

The cabin was extremely hot; the air conditioning unit was not enough to cool the area. We were miserable, wanted to leave, needed to rest, and couldn't sleep. We have stayed several times in the larger cabin and were very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful

This KOA had a very friendly staff and the cabin was clean. I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't a microwave or mini fridge but a TV in my cabin. I have stayed in a lot of KOA cabins recently and this was a first.

We stayed in cabins that were very nice and clean most importantly located close to the bathrooms and showers. Food truck was a nice touch but know it is a very limited menu.

Small cabin, dog friendly, bring your own bedding and pillows, bathrooms are not far from the cabins, clean and secure.
