Arrived after hours and found our site easily. Appreciated that they didn’t put us next to other rv’s. With that said, they weren’t busy so they had room. The dog park was too small for our medium size dog. They have room to add a dog park that’s larger. Park is dimly lit at night I would stay there again

Nice, clean campground. The employees were wonderful and very accommodating too. I loved the little white lights that surround the main building. Cute place. Thank you!

Stay was just ok, park is OK, however their internet is not. When we inquired why we couldn't connect the gal at the office replied "well I am on the internet but I can give you the providers number and you can call and complain to them ". Bad internet is not the reason for the rating it was the customer service. Stayed somewhere else on return.

Very nice campground! Clean with friendly and helpful staff. Very nice lounge to sit and have coffee. We stayed in a cabin and it was very nice.

Love this KOA for a quick stayover.We have stayed in a few over the years and this one is Awesome. Check in was super quick and easy , we arrived later about 8pm and they guided us to our site so we didnt have to find it in the dark. Site was easy access, facilities super clean and plenty of hot water!! Planes were flying in/out for about an hour ....maybe,..then nothing.... quiet all night..

We had a quiet night. Lots of dirt and a little gravel, but that's pretty standard for Texas. Well-equipped store with free coffee in the morning. Staff were friendly and courteous. We would stay again.

We came in late, cold and tired. The night attendant/security was SO Nice, and helpful!! We'll be spreading the word! It was our first time staying at a KOA. Thank you!!

I like the late check in at the office when I travel thru Amarillo. Would like a way to reserve and check in via app on mobile device. Also, only need 30 amp electric over night for about 10 hours, nothing else. Would like to see a more reasonable rate for quick overnight limited stay,

Nice place for an easy overnighter when coming thru the area. There are train tracks that run within .5 mile of the cg so if you’re a light sleeper use white noise.

Biggest complaint: Put all RVs 10 feet apart , when a huge park is available. When asked to be separate, not willing to please. Goatheads everywhere! Train noise constant. Not a pretty KOA.

Courtney was an amazing help. It was Christmas Eve and we were supposed to go to Tucumcari NM, but the wind was gusting up to 40 mph, there were semis on their sides in the median, and we lost the skirting off the side of our trailer. Courtney was able to set us up with a site for the night. We really appreciated that

The campground is clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. We used this campground for an overnight stay so didn’t us the amenities. Unfortunately, it is not conducive to a good night’s rest. It is right next to the airport AND on a major train route. All night we heard trains and airplanes.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Got checked right in and escorted to our cabin. The cabin was clean and warm, bed was pretty comfy. Clean bathrooms and showers, good hot water. They give you a complimentary 1st cup of coffee in the gift shop. Lots of fun souvenirs, and some local goods to choose from. The store is well stocked with the basic necessities.

Exceptional staff. Very friendly and helpful. Good, clean campground. Was not bothered by any noise as some campers reported. Highway noise is distant, only a few planes early evening. No helicopters. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff at Amarillo KOA was wonderful and the cabin was clean and cozy. The only reason for not giving a 10 under recommending to a friend was the noise from the nearby train crossing. We were awakened by train whistles several times during the night.

We had a wonderful week at Amarillo KOA!! The staff was so friendly! From the Manager in the day time to the night time front desk. All maintenance men just so friendly!!! They had great bathrooms with fantastic water pressure and HOT water which is hit or miss on the road most stays. We also used the Laundry facilities and they were clean and efficient. Their little store is cute and full aswell.

Passing through Amarillo but needing a place to spend the night we chose the delux cabin. It was a single unit, clean, with extra room, a full bath, had a table and four chairs. It had a fridge and microwave. No kitchen or dishes. The bed was comfortable and we were able to back in close to the steps enabling us to easily unload and load what was needed for the night. We may stay there again.

The staff are lovely and very friendly. The campground is clean and well cared for. We use the laundry room and it was absolutely fine. I did try to shower one night, but the water was too cool, so I abandoned that and went back to our camper to shower. That’s the only thing.

Great overnight stop. Easy in, easy out. Late office hours even off season (8am-8pm). Level sites, full hookups in good working order. Cute store. Close to airport and train tracks, but no noise at night, so good sleeping. Definitely will stop here again.

We have stayed at this KOA several times while traveling through Texas. Good place to stay the night.

I stayed during the off season with about 10 campsites occupied, the facility was clean to KOA standards and expectations. The staff displayed a "mall cop" attitude regarding where to park, I parked on the gravel adjacent to the cabin site out of the way of traffic, staff immediately directed me to park on the grass "in" the cabin site area, etc.

Keeping the front office open later than 6pm is nice, but not necessary for us. The TV worked this time (thanks). Everything was clean and in order in both the cabin and the bathrooms. The motion sensor light in the dog run was not working so the light did not come on at 6:30am. Maybe it's also on a timer?

I highly recommend! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites were all maintained. Our site was a pull through and level. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained as well. The water was hot and the pressure was great! I loved that the shower was in its own private stall that you could lock for privacy.
