The Amarillo KOA was easy to get to while traveling. The sites are level. The bathrooms are clean. Maintenance is done regularly. There are extras such as a playground, an outdoor pool, and a food truck. There is also a train track close by that carries a train frequently.

Very messy place after a rain. Our stairs from the camper were in the dirt. Pad sites are just gravel. No cable and couldn’t pick up any stations. We will no be staying here again.

Nothing special as far as the park itself. No trees/all gravel and dirt. The location worked for what we wanted to see/do. There’s plane/train/automobile noise.

Awful. We got there and the campsite they gave us was full of puddles from recent rain, so we put down a matt at the front door. Later on, an employee in a KOA vehicle drove by saying no mats on the grass / what grass - it was MUD! We had to pick it up and the rest of the night our dogs tracked in mud!!!! KOA is nice & quiet and has 2 large pet areas (fenced). The only issue is the trains that run through the night and the horn blowing (which they have to do when they are going thru the road crossings).

We always stop at your camp coming back from traveling on the west coast. It’s always very quiet with the exception of the train. You can get a great view of the moon coming up in the evening and the sunsets are remarkable. Star gazing is a lot of fun. I was surprised there were so many visible that close to the city. Showers and bathrooms are always clean and everything works properly.

We only stayed overnight, but was a really nice place to stay. Nice little dog park. Police stayed here before fifteen years ago.

We were just traveling through and only stayed 1 night but the campground was really well maintained and clean. Two fenced in dog parks and they have a food truck on site that is open for breakfast and dinner. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The campground is very clean with friendly staff members. It was easy to get around for walks and visit with other guests. The food truck is a great idea which allows guests to meet and converse about their travels.

Stayed just one night while on the road. The showers were the largest I’ve used at a campground. Thank you!! Also the staff was very friendly and helpful as usual with our KOA stays.

The staff were friendly and accommodations were pretty good with regard to the site hook ups. Campers were on top of each other. My picnic table was literally sitting just inches from the guest next to me sewage hose. Not pleasant. Yes could move the table but then not in shade or under awning. Coyotes running around directly behind my camper in daylight. No mats because it kills the dead grass.

We’ve camped at over 25 (50?) KOAs since we began RVing in earnest. This was the worst. After three past stops here, this was the last. Sites are too narrow and not level. Trees limbs almost took off our a/c (we had to back out of our pull through site!) No picnic tables or fire rings. Tacky. KOA should drop this one. But cheap!

Second time to stay here. The site was level. They have a nice store, game room and bathhouse. The staff is very welcoming and go above and beyond to be helpful! The power went out in the area for a couple of hours. Staff was constantly circling the campground during that time to see if folks were ok and to keep us updated. I’d give them an A+!

I always try to stay here when I’m passing through with my RV in a FHU site or when I’m traveling without the RV, I know I can be happy in a rustic cabin or the deluxe cabin. I appreciate the escort to the site, the friendly and helpful office staff and the clean restrooms!

Convenient location. Not many camping choices in the area. Nor many fun amenities. Certainly not as nice as other KOA’s we’ve been to. But nice hospitality. There was a greeter upon driving up. We checked in quickly and she led us to our spot. Power worked fine. Showers were fine but not the cleanest. In our reservation spot group, some spots that had their patio fenced off. Ours did not

Small cabin, dog friendly, bring your own bedding and pillows, bathrooms are not far from the cabins, clean and secure.

Cabin beds comfortable, safe area with security. Food truck on site has great breakfast and dinner. Very convenient.
