Nice level space with a tree that we appreciated in the heat! They also had two beautiful dog pens, one with gravel and one with grass. My girl appreciated the grass after the week we had just spent in the desert! We would stay again.

This was a fun place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were clean, and the shuttle service they offer to the big Texan restaurant is really helpful when you don't want to unhook for the night.

This is a super clean and nice KOA. When we turned onto the street to the KOA we though we had taken a wrong turn, so we were extremely pleased to see it was very nice. The checkin staff was professional and courteous and our cabin air was turned on and ready for us. What a pleasant surprise!! It was al nice to have a TV. The cabin was very clean and odor free and the carpet/mat was a nice touch.

OMG the KOA was lovely and the staff were so helpful. They were so sweet even when we made a mistake and put a ground tarp outside our van door and it extended onto the grass. The staff gently informed us to have it on the gravel only. He was so sweet, and I'm glad he told us. I'd hate to ruin grass. We had a great time here and the campground was clean, quiet and so pleasant.

“Grass” areas in campsites actually needed grass. Hosts were excellent. Store could’ve stocked more family type items. Bathrooms ok.

The Amarillo KOA is a good place to spend a night. There isn’t a lot of amenities but it is relatively level and the sites are long. What bothers me is the bull rush that we got at 11:05. First I was backing the truck up and had to stop to take a call reminding me checkout is at 11. After 60 nights on the road that was a first. Before I got going a guy in a cart pulled up to remind me in person

The KOA is very welcoming with the staff greeting you with a “Hello” just as soon as you arrive. The “Big Texan” restaurant is just a couple of miles away with a free limo service from/to the KOA.

Lovely, quiet location outside of Amarillo. Was a great place for us to spend the night on our way back to Georgia. Rented one of the Kabins and it was perfect for our needs on this trip.

It was clean and organized. It definitely held the KOA standards. The only negative I have is the location is pretty worn down surroundings the area. And if you're looking for quietness, the Airfield and train or a slight distraction to that.

Great little RV park. Super friendly staff. The only negative for us was the back row where we were parked has what seems to be very narrow spaces. It was okay for a quick overnight, but if we were staying any longer we would have asked to be moved to a wider space.

Very nice KOA with nice showers/bathrooms. The dog park was nice too. They have a food truck on site. It’s closed on Saturdays. The sites were very nice and spread out a little more.

It was a nice stay. The staff was very nice. They have two dog areas that are fenced, but we stayed 3 days and there were never any dog waste bags available in either area. They have a food truck that is on site that is a very nice amenity. They advertise a shuttle to the Big Texan, but didn’t give me any information about it, when I asked so I can’t comment on that. We were only there for a night. That being said everyone who worked there was super nice and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and our kids loved the pool. The staff was helpful in recommending dinner and it was great.

Loved this park, it was clean, well managed, we got personal service and led to our campsite. The owners are friendly and walked the park talking and meeting guests. We will definitely stay again.

This camp ground was immaculate! Had a very nice camp store, two dogs parks & a nice pool. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. Plenty of things to do in the area. We went to the “ Big Texan” had a great dinner. We Hiked the Palo Duro State Park twice & it was Absolutely BREATHTAKING & BEAUTIFUL! We went to Cadillac Ranch, Bill’s Classic Cars, Slug Bug Ranch & Six Car Bar in downtown

I cannot say enough nice things. The camp staff was always available and super helpful! They helped us to rearrange our reservations, and the site was well stocked and VERY clean.

This place was perfect for our overnight stay. Staff was friendly, check in was quick, helpful escorts, the bathrooms were clean and functional. A great addition was the presence of a food truck. The place is easily found right off I-40 near the airport. Just a few miles (2-3?) and 3 turns. There was some airport noise and some train noise but we slept right through it. There was a playground for the kiddies and a dog park. At the interstate, there were fueling options with room to navigate an RV. I give it a 5 not because it is perfect but because there was nothing wrong of note.
