We just stayed the one night but the camp was clean. Pool was great. Food Truck food was awesome.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. They were able to find out how to let me use a KOA gift card for my stay I had already paid for when I reserved my site online. We stay at this KOA anytime we travel to California to visit relatives.

We love KOA's, have been staying there for decades and have never had a bad experience. The Amarillo KOA has a beautiful property, clean pool and lovely store with a plentiful supply of bottled beer brands. As many online reviews state, the manager (not the pleasant front desk employees) is rude, rides around looking for rule breakers and after dark, they will do laps with no headlights, creep

We live by friendliness, cleanliness, comfort and safety! however, we get more complaints having our carts lights ON then off! No creeping, just making sure everything as it should be!

This place is always nice. The grounds are groomed and the people are always friendly and welcoming. They have 3 dog parks perfectly clean. Nice place to stay.

Great place to stay! I think this is my second time I’ve stayed here and will be staying again on my way home. Clean facilities, great staff! They also have a food truck where you can get breakfast AND dinner. The guy running it is super nice!

Of all the campgrounds in our 9 weeks out, this one was better than any up scale campground including some of the other KOA we stayed in. We felt so at home and enjoyed All the staff! And the ground were so carefully maintained. Loved them all!�

Amarillo KOA is a great place to pull off the road, rest, and relax. The office and parking assist employees are first rate. The only downside is the occasional goat head stickers in the grass of the pull through sites.

It’s a park that’s clean, well-maintained, and full of friendly folks. Even though it’s close to the Airport, it’s surprisingly quiet.

This campground is well kept in all areas. It is close to but not on a major highway, so road traffic is not an issue. You can hear a train whistle from time to time but it is not intrusive and actually quite charming. This is our 2nd stay and we plan to return when our path takes us through Amarillo again.

The camp was nice. The negatives were, our puppy got several grass burrs, some of which we are still trying to get out of his hair. Also, I had forgotten how many trains there are. Very loud!!!

This park likely has existed for decades, and the current owners have got it in tip top condition. The road leading in was not impressive but the park entrance, the reception, the guide cart to the site, and the FOOD TRUCK! Were all most impressive. We’ll come again!

Staff was friendly and professional both office and maintenance. The site was ok and facilities were clean. My only complaint is the grounds don’t have enough gravel or grass and when it rains it becomes a mud hole.

This place doesn’t have what should be considered a “Deluxe” cabin. When I made reservation it stated for 3 adults; this cabin should never be rented as to anything but a couple or a couple with one child. There was a soft spot in the floor just to left of entrance door that someone could step through. Also, the bunks would not sleep anyone older than a child (10 yo) ; very un comfortable fo

I had booked a spot over Labor Day weekend. When we arrived the lady at the desk could not find my reservation. Turns out I accidentally booked September 29th instead of August 29th! She was able to get us in the last site in the park, an extra long pull thru. I was so relieved!

To start with, the people that work there are extremely friendly and keep the campground very clean and tidy. The pool was wonderful and the bathroom was clean. There is a food truck on site so riding somewhere to get something to eat was not necessary since I was traveling on a motorcycle. The only thing I wish the cabin had was a mini fridge. I highly recommend this KOA.

Although the charge was minimal, I had to use $10 of my KOA points to pay for arriving a mere 30 minutes early. Ordinarily, I would understand the need to prepare a site, mow, or extra work of staff before check in time, but my site was ready and there were only a handful of sites occupied. Also, I contacted KOA about this but have heard nothing.

I work remotely and WIFI was not adequate. I'm not a complainer but, it is located next to an airport with constant flight traffic and then there is the morning train that rolls through proceeded by its loud horn.

Only stayed for one night, as we were traveling through. Check in was easy and had a fellow guide us to our spot. Was overall pleased with the park! Pool and dog park are 2 amenities we really appreciate! The onsite food truck is an awesome addition!

Ice cold AC, planes overhead, the outlet in kabin 6 did not work!! Can't complain, kabin was clean, hot showers
