This campground was very clean. The showers are 2x the size of what you find in most places. KOA, has somehow gotten 2 accounts for me. The host here was most helpful in getting th a t straightened out.

I stay here almost every time I am driving from the DFW area to points west. The staff are always extremely friendly and professional. The facilities are clean and well maintained. And most of all it is convenient to all the major highways but, not too close. I highly recommend!

I consistently try to stay at KOA and although this was a nice campground I am very disappointed in the fact that I was charged an additional $10.00 for leaving at 11:30 when I was having issues with my tail lights on the camper and a taigate that would not go up on the truck. Not very accomodating.

We pulled into a cute campground. The front desk person abruptly said that our 25 ft and truck may not fit and that we may have to park the truck in overflow. I said that my husband probably won't do that and she said she could give us a refund. Not what a weary traveler who booked online wants to hear! The guy who escorted us was nice. He should do the desk! A clean park but weak wifi so no TV.

Small but nice KOA. A little off of I40 and between the airport and the trains, but it was quiet during the night. Personnel were very friendly. We stayed one night and didn't need much. Some friends got food from the food truck in the morning, not sure how good it was, but nice option. Would stay there again.

The park was convenient to everything we wanted to do in the Amarillo area. We saw a bunch of friends so really didn't use any of the services or amenities at the park. Will stay there again.

I was irritated when we were driving out at 11:03 and received a phone call from the office stating that “ you know check out is at 11”

A very convenient location for me on this trip I enjoyed the trains, the jets and the helicopters, especially the Osprey I thought the park area was nice, well kept, decorative and I’ll stay again.

Bathrooms are clean and modern enough, and laundry is excellent and not too expensive. All people working there are friendly and helpful. Otherwise, it's a parking lot for campers and not a destination. Barely any trees and lots of bright lights - be warned. Als in a field next to an airport - although not busy, there are runway lights. Of the many KOAs I stay at this was fine for overnight.

Facility was very clean, but spread and curtains were thrown together styles and colors...nothing even came close to matching. A/C was very noisy making it hard to hear tv. Which was another issue... locks on so many channels that our viewing choices were limited Which was another issue. Campground was nice enough. I don't appreciate being told I couldn't stop on the road with my truck to talk to friends or yelled at for driving into a vacant site to pick them up. Sure not Texas laid back. Office staff was helpful.

Staff is amazing! Always so friendly and accommodating. Great location right off the loop. Pool restrooms and laundry very clean. Airport and distant train are a non factor beats interstate traffic roar and sirens. Actually pretty quiet park. Camp store is stocked surprisingly well too. Want to a good campground where they appreciate you and not like you’re a nuisance stay at the Amarillo Koa.

What a great campground! Quiet, super-well maintained, well staffed and even a Food Truck with great food and service. Very convenient to highway, but still super-quiet and relaxing. The Kamping Kabin we stayed in had a regular steel entry door and not one of the clunky original wooden doors and was close to a super-nice bathroom/shower. Staff is very courteous. We will definitely stay here again!

Only stayed for one night, as we were traveling through. Check in was easy and had a fellow guide us to our spot. Was overall pleased with the park! Pool and dog park are 2 amenities we really appreciate! The onsite food truck is an awesome addition!

Ice cold AC, planes overhead, the outlet in kabin 6 did not work!! Can't complain, kabin was clean, hot showers
