Very friendly staff and an easy to get to location. Only complaint we have is the WiFi. Way too slow and unusable at times. We will stay again if in the area.

Beautiful campground in a beautiful city. This was the second time around for us. We came back because we liked it so much the first time. Clean, well maintained restrooms and laundry.

We loved our stay here. We have been to many RV parks in the past three months and this was my favorite. The site was flat; and the staff were exceptional. Alvina from the front desk showed exceptional hospitality!

Courtney the manager was so welcoming and helpful. She was exceptional! Our site was perfect. The grounds were clean and spacious. Cannot wait to come back and spend more time here. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Employee was waiting as we entered KOA, got us checked in and escorted us to our site. Site was open and spacious.

This was our third stay A+ on all. Please make sure the restrooms/showers with 2 showers and 2 toilets is locked. Went for my morning shower and it was unlocked. Kind of scarey. Everything else was perfect! Clean, friendly and enjoyable.

The staff are super welcoming and organized. Sites are clean, fairly level, and big. Light sleepers need to know that freight trains, with their loud air horns, are running nearby throughout the night (and make noise from the nearby airport no big deal). While Amarillo KOA is just we would expect from a KOA, we couldn’t figure out why it’s more expensive than other KOA Journeys.

They pack you in like sardines. Not allowed to walk on the grass on your campsite. Trains blowing by constantly. By far one of the worst KOAs we have ever visited.

Had good amenities. When I found out it was by the airport I was concerned that it would be noisy but my first day stay wasn't. 2nd time around there was a camper behind my cabin with a dog that barked for a long time. Finally stopped about 10:30 which was good, but started up again at 5:30 in am so I ended up leaving early. You should have some rules about barking dogs.

Unacceptably noisy and the campground’s response was poor. The unit across from us was doing rv repairs from about 10 pm to midnight - lights, impact tools, compressors. Campground told them people had complained but the work continued without the lights. I sent an email requesting a refund and never received the courtesy of a reply.

The staff at this KOA are excellent. What was supposed to be a one day stay turned into 6 days due to a break down. Even with the ballon festival going on and a packed campground, they managed to shuffle around reservations so our party of 2 coaches could stay until repairs were made. Many thanks to Amarillo KOA .

When we arrived, the fellow who took us to our camping spot was standing outside the office with the word security on his KOA shirt. We were concerned it might be an unsafe place to stay since we had never seen security personal at a KOA. We were told not to put our plastic rug down for it would kill the grass. Couldn’t tell where the gravel ended and grass started. Very unfriendly place.

Nice staff, very clean bathroom. Level site, the only problem we experienced was the mower did not have a deflector on the discharge and he threw a rock at the motor home. Sounded like a bullet hit our motor home. Didn't want to go to them office and throw the mower under the bus as we still were staying another night. Other than that it was a nice stay.
