This is one of the biggest KOAs I've been to. Overall a great facility and was alot of fun. The wind here is horrible though. I would not recommend a pop up camper or tent for camping here. They were very accommodating and allowed us to transfer to a cabin from our pop-up camper site after a few nights of awful winds blowing us around. Will definitely stay again but will leave the pop-up at home!

I was in Albuquerque to attend an event. I like staying in the Albuquerque KOA camping cabins because of the convenience and the location. The facilities (bathrooms, cabins, grounds) are always clean and neat and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Cabin was nice and great to have everything ready for our arrival. Only minor complaint is that the couch is terribly uncomfortable.

I’ve stayed at this KOA several times passing through Santa Fe. After trying all the expensive hotels in town, I’ve come to prefer staying here. The staff is great, the facilities are clean and well maintained and the site itself is in an attractive location. Highly recommend!

Our small cabin had a strong smell of perfume. (I’m very allergic). So that was unfortunate. But everything, including the bathroom, was clean and night shift guy was friendly.

Cabin was immaculate, comfortable and had all the things we needed after a long trip. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Campground felt safe and secure. Great view of the Sandia mountains. This is my second time staying at this KOA and I will be back!

The staff were helpful when we needed to move our stay a day due to winter storm. But did not tell us about a pet fee prior to our arrival & was much higher than all other KOAs. Parking was very small and door would not lock. Cabin was overpriced but clean and stocked.

The finest I’ve stayed at. I arrived late on a cold January night. The small cabin selected for me was very close to the bathroom. The light and more important the heater was on already. There is a tv, fridge, microwave. Also a very pretty faux fireplace plus a small space heater near the bed. Good cabin and great thoughtfulness by the staff. I’ll stay here again.

We always stay at the Albuquerque KOA on our way between CO and AZ. We have always enjoyed our stay here. The property is gated and there is staff available at all times. The location is right off of I40 so is super convenient, you can hear the road noise, however, this has never bothered us. The park is clean and staff friendly and we will continue to make this our go to place to stop!

We’ve stayed here 3 times in the last year ish now and really like your location here! We stayed in KK4 this past weekend and just wanted to let you know that it might need some sealing. The high winds showed a lot of places where the wind came in-near the full size bed in the corner and then around the back window, the shades were blowing hard inside all night long. Just wanted to pass along!

I was volunteering on a project and the Albuquerque KOA was the perfect place for my basecamp. The tent sites are spacious and clean; the cabin was a good respite from the chill of the January nights. I stayed in both tent & cabin. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Was cold and the walk to the bathroom was very long. To cabins are also not whethered very good. We would feel a cold wind at all times.

The hot water in the bathroom never did get warm. The tv was a problem. Not user friendly or maybe just an antenna would solve the problem. The cabin was clean and comfortable and quiet.

We stayed one night in a cabin. It was clean and comfortable. The mini kitchen had the basics (cups, utensils, soap, etc.) and the bath had shampoo, conditioner and soap. We loved the outdoor patio area with a sturdy table, fire pit and plenty of room for our pup to roam. The dog park was large and had two separate areas. Very dog friendly facility!

The heater did not work well at all. There was a lot of noise from street racing cars that kept me up for hours. I was REALLY upset that they ran one authorization on my debit card for a store purchase FIVE times, which hijacked my account for almost a week before it was cleared.

The park was beautifully kept and all the employees were very friendly and helpful. The deluxe cabin was perfect for what we needed to enjoy our trip to the area.

This has to be one of the nicest KOA Journey locations we have stayed at. Remove the highway, and it could easily be a KOA Holiday. We stayed in April 2025 while on a trip. We reserved at a place in Tijeras, but after we didn't feel safe there and this KOA was able to get us in at the last minute. I can't say much about the amenities except that they looked quite nice. We ended up spending our two days here resting and recharging. We opted for a pull thru so we wouldn't have to disconnect our car, and the site was more than long enough to accommodate this. The site was paved, so we were able to just pull in and level. We had 50 amp service, but 30 amp was also available. The water pressure was good and the sewer was available but we didn't use it. On short stops, I want to hook up as little as possible. The staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. It was a little pricey for a Journey, but when we got here, we understood why. We would absolutely stay here again. You won't be disappointed either.

Campground was easy to get to with friendly staff. Our site was clean and level with full hookups. The proximity to hwy 40 is very close so you will have traffic noise, turn on a fan for sleeping and you wont hear a thing! We appreciated the full wall around the park as added security with automatic gate for exit and gate code needed for after hours entry.
