Great place to stay, out of the way of abq!

My wife was guilty of driving to fast. She admitted. But the management called other RV parks and informed them of her driving. They provided new RV park she was asian. We were informed of this 10/28/2023 at 10:55 am.

Dirt! Like most all KOAs it’s all dirt- gravel. But, this dirt is dusty, everything that come on contact with it is covered with it. Even my truck’s windshield was cover with it in the mornings. I noticed they were covering it with “Red” gravel” perhaps they know about their problem… What’s with this putting the water shut-off in a pit with fiberglass insulation around it?

Everything about our stay was great except the site: all of the hookups were at the front of the site. We were only there for 1 night and I wanted to stay connected, which would've been impossible if I hadn't had 18-feet of additional sewer hose.

I’ve stayed with you several times with no issues.Staff very friendly Got in after time someone left office n had breaker tripping issues on your pole. Someone came n worked on pole said everything was fine but still tripping n off during nite Stayed at Jellystone in Wichita Falls Tx n no problem. Don’t remember my site # but I’m sure you can ck.

Stay was pretty good except for water pressure. Governor of NM is downright scary so I can’t recommend anyone go to NM anymore.

Two men’s toilets for the entire campground, ridiculous. Electrical panel cover for P41 kept falling off. Combination lock on women’s restroom but none on men’s-manager stated they get vagrants yet the men’s remains unlocked because men can’t remember the code. This place is a NO GO!

Outstanding facility! Folks went out of their way to be welcoming. Would highly recommend to other travelers in this area. Great base camp while visiting and/or sight-seeing.

The campground is very well maintained. Spaces are a bit tight, but doable. Laundry facilities are very reasonable and clean. The staff were all very friendly and polite.

Great place! We have stayed here 4 times on our yearly trek between Michigan and California. Clean and well kept campground. Love to have beer and pizza at the Katkus brewery. This time we enjoyed an evening of jazz put on by area musicians. Excellent! Michi/Cals Ed and Joanne

My lawn chairs were stolen right by the office. Amazing that the only camera that didn't work was the one facing my RV. Don't leave anything out.

Everything was wonderful and bathrooms were SUPER clean! The only thing that was a little unnerving is the water spout was infested with roaches. That’s just one thing compared to a bunch of really great things. Very well kept pull-thru spots. Will definitely be back in the future!

We chose this KOA for location and that the pool is open till mid October, according to website. Pool was closed when we arrived on the 6th. Also the weekend outdoor movies did not happen either. Staff was friendly. Sites were clean. Dump station next to playground was a bit gross for my grandchildren.

Overall, we had a great stay. Sites are quite close together and no fire rings, but aside from that, we had a good time there. Hardly any KOA's have dog parks large enough for us, but this one was adequate for our 100+# GSD. The best part was the secret path to the Kactus Brewery. That was an awesome addition. Staff was great at the KOA and 24 hr laundry was a bonus. Well priced laundry, too!

At $107 per night very overpriced for amenities and overall quality. I have never paid this much for partial hook up. I understand that most of our stay was during the ballon festival but we were 14 miles to the north. The price did not come down on Sunday after the festival was over. No paper towels in Bathroom, men’s room no lock, no security gate, dump station hard to access

We had a wonderful stay mostly because of the staff...Debbie, Greg, Jimmy, Angie, Andrew, Patrick, Christine. The park owners, Marty and Sue, keep a clean and well maintained park. Right off the freeway without the noise. Wi fi spotty on one side of the park but they are working on that. Our dog Rascal enjoyed his stay too as they have 2 dog parks. We will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay here at this KOA. It’s completely located to all the things we wanted to do including the balloon fiesta. the showers and restrooms are very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. Not to mention there’s a heated pool. One of the best parts of staying at this campground is the cactus brewery which is literally a short path distance from the campgroun

WI-FI was not working. KOA knows the park will be crowded for the balloon festival and should ensure the WI-FI is working for ALL guests. Expensive. Personnel were crabby and not helpful.

We stayed here for 3 months while I had a contract job in Albuquerque. My husband and I had nothing but positive experiences at this KOA. Angie and Andrew (management), Debbie (front desk), Patrick, Greg, and Ryan (grounds/maintenance) were all great! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. You can tell the campground is well managed. The bathrooms are easily the nicest and cleanest of any rv park we've stayed at. There was one issue with an unruly camper while we were there, and management handled it swiftly and professionally. We always felt safe in the campground. I worked downtown at UNM, and my commute was 20mins easy. Great location to downtown while being out of town :) Also, super close to hiking trails! Our only critique would be that the picnic tables are a little too close to your neighbor's sewage. We would gladly stay here again, and highly recommend it to travelers coming through Albuquerque.

It was a nice surprise! We did an impromptu stop, and this camp is pristine and well kept. Staff was fantastic. And there's a nice little brewery next door with food and drinks. We will come back for sure!

Great place to stay. Clean well kept good size spaces I stayed in a 25 foot camper, travel trailer with a dog and a cat.
